We can all breathe a little easier today because Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all counts. This verdict means that Kyle Rittenhouse is a free man. He cannot be charged again. The jury deliberated for about 30 hours. That is actually a good thing, in retrospect, because it reduces the “rush to judgment” criticisms. I would not expect much violence in Kenosha this weekend for a couple of reasons. One being that the National Guard is on standby and more importantly, the weather is a factor. It will get up to around 50 tomorrow and Sunday, but when the sun goes down the temperature drops rapidly. Rioters definitely prefer warmer weather.

The MSM absolutely embarrassed itself by deliberately misrepresenting the facts in this case. Kyle Rittenhouse is white, all of the people he encountered were white, and he has no known connection to white supremacists. The MSM was not only wrong about this, but they were also absurdly wrong.

There are already attorneys lining up to represent Kyle Rittenhouse regarding some very serious lawsuits. This will be similar to what happened to Nicholas Sandmann. Sandmann sued the MSM for defamation and appears to have collected millions. That pales in comparison to the damage done to Kyle Rittenhouse. A lot of people would be wise to start lawyering up, but that horse has already left the barn.

This is also a devastating blow to a justice system that appears to be motivated more by political considerations rather than facts. The prosecutor was desperate to gain a conviction and lacking the facts he resorted to the ridiculous and including what appears to be deliberate misrepresentation of material facts. I honestly believe if he had been convicted, it would have overturned on appeal, if not overturned immediately by the judge.

The real problem is that people we should be able to trust have proven themselves completely untrustworthy. That includes people in the MSM including MSNBC, NBC, and CNN. Even if you were one of those people who wanted Kyle Rittenhouse to be prosecuted, you have to be concerned over how much they got wrong.

That includes the establishment in the Democratic Party. The ridiculous assertion by Joe Biden and people like the Attorney General of the United States, Merrick Garland, that white supremacists are the greatest threat to us, other than global climate change, evaporated with that not guilty verdict. The jury, who listened to the facts was obviously not impressed. People are figuring this out regarding almost every democratic talking points. That includes climate change, criminal justice reform, tax and spend, woke politics, critical race theory, reparations, mask mandates, vaccine mandates and even racist bridges. Credibility, once lost, is extremely difficult to get it back. This was a slap in the face to the MSM and to the entire Democratic agenda. We should not overlook that.

Similar things are playing out all over the country and the world. Austria tried to lock down everyone who is unvaccinated, forgetting that at least some of those people were police officers. The  police are not only unwilling to enforce this nonsense, but they are also joining the protests.

Someone leaked that memo from the Attorney General regarding targeting parents. Clearly there are a lot of people in the DOJ and the FBI who are fighting back against the obvious politicization of justice. There are numerous leaks from White House staffers regarding Kamala Harris. “Let’s Go Brandon” is going viral. People are showing up in droves at college and professional football games. They are crammed together, not wearing masks yet there have been no reports of super spreader events. It is impossible to ignore the obvious hypocrisy demonstrated by high ranking Democrats who wear ludicrous masks whenever they see a camera only to get caught frolicking in social events with no masks in sight.

The silent majority is very real and is silent no more. Those who ignore the reality of this do so at their own peril. In the meantime, as I predicted previously, Kyle Rittenhouse may just become a legend. He was surprisingly articulate when cross examined. He is about to be rich, very rich. He has just been given a voice that may soon become very loud. They tried and failed to destroy him. Don’t be surprised if he is a major factor in a nationwide movement to destroy them.

This may happen sooner than you can imagine. CNN is already talking about shredding staff and returning to a legitimate news organization. The only way that can happen is if noticeably big and prominent names are axed. They used a myth, to attack a man. That failed and the result may be a legend that will haunt them for a long time.

It should be obvious that if one intends to obtain power by any means necessary, one should be prepared to manage such power if successful. Few people not relying totally on misinformation by MSM outlets regarding the 2020 election believe that this election was even close to fair and square. While some conspiracy theories were admittedly absurd, there are far too many legitimate questions that demand investigation. Regardless of how that election was conducted, Democrats succeeded, whether fairly or not, to control of the House, control of the Senate, and the Presidency. What could possibly go wrong? We now know. The House is a mess because the squad foolishly believes the insane promises made by Pelosi to remain speaker. The Senate is a mess because Manchin, Sinema and others are not on board with the insanity. That would be bad enough, but an even bigger problem is the obvious senility and incompetence of Joe Biden. But the most severe problem is that with Kamala Harris as VP, there is no exit strategy available.

After Virginia, Democrats are increasingly terrified that the 2022 midterm elections will be a total wipeout. If that happens, their only consolation will be controlling the Presidency. Oops, that would be relying on Joe Biden. Wise Democrats are probably near hysteria. Normally, when there is a genuine problem with the President the solution would be removal from office either by invoking the 25^th Amendment or impeachment. But even that drastic action is not possible because, incredibly, Kamala Harris would be even worse than Joe Biden, much worse. Her approval rating is about 28% and dropping. There are numerous reports that the Biden administration is trying to distance themselves from her. She has responded by claiming this is evidence of sexism and racism. Wow!

Few people, in either party, find this situation remotely acceptable. Democrats probably figure the worst case scenario would be overturning the 2020 election, because that would return Trump to power with a Republican House and a Republican Senate. Yet, despite the obvious problems with Biden, replacing him is also not an option. Plus, his health looks increasing questionable, and he could literally exit this planet prematurely creating President Kamala Harris no matter what anyone wants. Something must be done, and it must be done sooner rather than later. It sure looks like the only possible solution is to replace Kamala Harris with someone actually capable of being President and then finding a way to give Joe a graceful exit. Removing Kamala Harris is one thing, replacing her is another. Both the House and the Senate must affirm the nomination of anyone to be Vice President. In addition, the only person who can nominate someone is, gasp, Joe Biden. Today that would be a perplexing task, even though the House and the Senate are controlled by Democrats, because the margin is so small. Anyone acceptable to “the squad” would not be acceptable to other Democrats. They would have to find someone that could get bi-partisan support. One wonders if such person exists.

But if it is difficult today, it would be impossible after the 2020 midterm elections, assuming Republicans retake the House and the Senate. In other words, Democrats in their lust to achieve power have put themselves in double jeopardy with no pain free exit.

One of the problems with politically motivated prosecutions is that they often get their facts wrong, really wrong. One example of that is the out of control prosecution of people who participated in the January 6^th Capital protests. With the loud urging of people like Nancy Pelosi and Liz Cheney the DOJ went on an all-out assault on participants in an attempt to convict those participating of attempting insurrection. But anyone who actually watched this and also watched any portion of the hours and hours of video knows that this wasn’t even close to an insurrection. It wasn’t even very violent, compared to the BLM and Antifa riots that took place in the summer of 2020. One Capital police officer died shortly after the incident and that appears to have been mostly from natural causes. No firearms were confiscated, and it appears that the deadliest weapon used by protestors was bear spray. So far, I have not seen evidence that anyone has even been charged with insurrection. Some suspects were charged, appropriately, with illegal trespass and destruction of property. Some alleged “offenders” were caught because they posed for “photo-ops” in the Capital. Real criminals don’t do that. Remember all those “photo-ops” of people connected with BLM and Antifa who rioted all over the country, attacking police and starting fires? No? That is because these people often wore hoods to disguise themselves. There was one notable exception, the guy who filmed himself during the Capital riots. But he is a known associate of Antifa, so the DOJ showed extraordinarily little interest in him.

I would not be surprised to see many, if not most, cases dismissed. There have already been suspects intimidated into pleading guilty to less serious charges to avoid continued prosecution and unaffordable legal expense. If any of these cases go to trial, an acquittal is quite possible. Even more possible will be the absolute destruction of the “insurrection myth.” Trials are dangerous things for prosecutors who act more on feelings than facts. If you want an example of that, look at the Zimmerman trial regarding the death of Trayvon Martin. He was quickly acquitted. Of course, the liberal left ignored that and there are still people marching around with Trayvon Martin signs pretending he is a martyr. They get away with this because the MSM willingly ignores the facts and never challenges this.

This is the same MSM willing to swallow the absurd claim that this was the worst insurrection since the Civil War. The same media that still pretends the big lie was Donald Trump pointing out the obvious about the 2020 election. They are even less likely to report objectively on this than they are to set the record straight regarding the Russian Collusion myth.

This background is essential to put the Kyle Rittenhouse trial into perspective. The MSM has tried to avoid covering this story, but he is now on trial, it is being televised, and it is riveting TV. This is truly a sad story, and one questions who thought it was a good idea to use a 17 year old teenager, who didn’t even have a drivers license, out there armed with an AR 15. That being said, he clearly shot the gun in self-defense because he thought he was being attacked. Even the prosecution’s witnesses proved that. The prosecutors know this, which is why they tried desperately to impeach Kyle because of things like him realizing there was a curfew in effect. They even tried to bring up the fact that he had been silent since being accused. The judge tore into the prosecutor and pointed out, correctly, that this was both unethical and illegal. It is always naïve to predict what any jury will decide, but I would rather be the defense attorneys than the prosecution attorneys.

Now the prosecutors are asking the judge to allow the jury to consider “lesser” charges. The obvious reason for that is the prosecutors realize they have failed to prove the more serious charges.

Even if the Jury were to convict Rittenhouse there would be a good chance of him getting a new trial on appeal. It was remarkable to watch the judge berate the prosecutors for doing things the judge described as clearly inappropriate. A wise prosecutor would have cut a plea deal and would never have tried this case. But that was not an option because there was tremendous political pressure to convict Rittenhouse of murder. Politics, not the law and certainly not the facts is driving this. Even now senior Democrats are declaring that Rittenhouse is obviously guilty. Reporters in the MSM have made irresponsible comments regarding this case. During the 2020 campaign, then candidate Joe Biden called Rittenhouse a White Supremacist, which is patently absurd. For one thing, everyone involved was white, so it is hard to conclude this was racially motivated.

One note that there is no pressure to convict anyone connected with BLM or Antifa for anything. This is extremely dangerous because one of the most important aspects of our judicial system is to not make decisions based on politics, ever. Reflect on John Adams defending the British soldiers charged regarding the Boston Massacre. Regardless of any other factors, Kyle Rittenhouse deserves to be judged solely on the facts and the law and nothing else.

This is extremely dangerous for the liberal left. If Rittenhouse is acquitted, expect him to file a malicious prosecution claim for millions. This could easily make him a very wealthy young man. It could also propel him to a political career. I have watched a lot of trials and a lot of witness testimony, and his performance was stunning. Do not underestimate this young man. He is a young man, the accusations against him have already been exposed as a myth and politicizing this inappropriately may just turn him into a legend.

In the modern woke era, it is all too easy to say “something” that someone else will consider to be racist. It is the unfortunate nature of our times. One of the problems with this is that there is the potential to downplay or ignore genuine racism. But at other times, this become, well, amusing. The best example of that is “Let’s Go Brandon.” What happened is that following a NASCAR race the crowd began chanting “F Joe Biden.” Brandon Brown, who won his first NASCAR race was being interviewed by NBC Sportscaster Kelli Stavast.  The crowd erupted in the “F Joe Biden” chant. She pretended that the crowd was really saying “Let’s Go Brandon” because she didn’t want to admit what was really going on. It was absurd and even Brandon Brown thought it was absurd.

I am sure Ms. Stavast was just trying to be polite, but instead she accidentally created a great new way to insult Joe Biden without actually saying something vulgar. People all over the country have adopted the “Let’s Go Brandon” chant and everyone knows what they really mean. The problem is that it is ridiculous to claim that “Let’s Go Brandon” is somehow vulgar, because there are people named Brandon and it is hardly a crime to cheer them on.  In retrospect it would have been better for Ms. Stavast to just ignore this, but that ship has sailed.

This reminded me of something I did years ago. While visiting us, one of my nephews got frustrated and used a couple of swear words. He turned beat red and immediately turned red and apologized. His parents are deeply religious and did not find that sort of vocabulary to be remotely acceptable. I just laughed, but in a moment of weakness, I introduced him to “Christian swearing.” I explained that he really shouldn’t use these kinds of words, because they are definitely offensive to someone. But he could choose other words, more acceptable, to use in the event of frustration. Afterall, there is a reason for swearing, it is definitely a stress release mechanism. I suggested using books of the Bible as a substitute, since no one could complain about repeating books of the Bible. He loved the idea and almost immediately developed a whole new vocabulary of words, using books of the Bible, as an easy substitute for what he really wanted to say. The result was that this spread among his friends and relatives. For example, when he was very frustrated he would say “Oh Genesis.” I knew exactly what he meant, and I suspect his parents were less than thrilled at this new creative use of vocabulary.

The point being that saying one thing and meaning another can be great fun. There are other examples of this. For example, I was asked for a reference regarding a former employee who was, well, worthless. I didn’t want to trash this person, but I also didn’t want to lie. So, I remembered a joke about this and said: “Nobody could have done a better job.” I meant that we would have been better off having no one than this person. But the person hearing this probably thought this was a complement. This was not exactly my finest hour.

So, “Let’s Go Brandon.” I am, of course, referring to Brandon Belt, who just got a huge, qualified offer from the San Francisco Giants. If you were thinking about something else, well that is not my problem.

Many of us are familiar with the feud between the Hatfield’s and the McCoy’s. But a more important feud may be continuing between the “Clinton’s” and the “Obama’s.” Hillary Clinton expected to win the 2008 presidential nomination similar to the way she “won” the 2016 nomination. Then this guy, Barack Obama, with virtually no resume, showed up and started threatening the legacy. Bill Clinton, typically hides his long history of racism, But on numerous occasions he could not resist letting his racism show.

Anyone paying attention knows that the “Clinton’s” made a lot of comments about Obama that were definitely racist. One report claims that in 2008 Bill Clinton said: “A few years ago, this guy would have been carrying our bags.” In 2010, Hillary Clinton said: “A few year ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.”  The following is just one article pointing out circumstances where Bill Clinton allegedly made racist remarks about Obama.

This is important to put the interview of John Ratcliffe by Maria Bartiromo yesterday in perspective.  Keep in mind that John Ratcliff was the former Director of National Intelligence and he had access to mountains of highly classified information.

The theory is that during the summer of 2016 the Clinton campaign was putting the Obama administration at risk by weaponizing the intelligence community. According to this article CIA Director John Brennan met with President Obama and informed him of the weaponization of the government being used by the Clinton administration. Obama was smart enough to realize this could reflect very badly on him.  Allegedly the Clinton camp was told that they must come up with a legal justification for what they were doing. The result was the idiotic plan to use Carter Page to retroactively justify FISA warrants.

The Clinton camp had already been calling Trump a Russian Asset for months. The problem is that this was being done by people in the Obama administration and there was zero evidence to support this. The result was a lot of very stupid well documented decisions by people who ought to know better. John Durham was appointed to investigate this.

I do not know if this is accurate, but it is clear that there is a lot more to this story than what is being reported. It is also clear that the appointment of John Durham was a bit strange. Attorney General William Barr secretly decided that Durham would be converted to a special prosecutor. The Biden administration, which clearly despises Donald Trump, has never challenged the investigation by Durham and is letting him proceed. It makes one wonder if the Russia Collusion investigation is not part of the ultimate plan for revenge by Barack Obama. Few would argue that Joe Biden does anything that is not approved by Obama. If Obama wanted Durham shut down, he would be shut down. Instead, he is chugging right along and at a minimum, probably giving the Clinton’s a lot of nightmares. One thing is certain, this is clear evidence that Hillary Clinton and the entire Clinton camp is completely out of power. Otherwise, they would have stopped this.

John Podesta has not exactly been warm and supportive of Joe Biden.  It is interesting to see that Podesta called Durham’s indictment of Sussmann an “exercise in diversion and obfuscation.”

It sure looks like there is a blood feud between the “Clinton’s” and the “Obama’s” and Joe Biden has chosen sides. As with most feuds, the only thing certain is that both sides will experience catastrophic loss.

I was scheduled for jury duty this week, starting Monday. Each day, when I checked, my group was not ordered to report. I naively thought I had dodged a bullet. Then, last night, I found out we were scheduled to report at 8:00 a.m. today. In order to avoid traffic, I left early and arrived at the courthouse at 7:30 a.m.  I was the first one there. But it was cold, around 50 degrees, so I decided to go for a walk to keep warm. I got back to the Court House at 7:50 a.m. and now there was a long line. I was last in the line. A clerk came out, reminded us that we had to wear a mask at all times, and, by the way, the trial was expected to last 10 business days. This was not looking good for me.

When I went through security, they practically made me do a public strip tease. I even had to remove my belt. I didn’t want to try and put my belt back on in front of a bunch of people, so I went into the nearest men’s room. By the time I got organized, everyone else was gone. I found out I was supposed to go to the second floor and follow the signs. When I got to the jury assembly room, it was empty. I asked the clerk if I was in the right place and she said yes, show me your badge. So, I gave her my badge and she said: “We have all the jurors we need, so you are excused.”  Then she gave me a “Proof of Service” form.  I literally laughed all the way home. Everyone else in that line, but me, was in a court room, going through voi dire. Sometimes the last are indeed first. In this case, the first to go home.

This is a reminder that the Lord sometimes works in mysterious ways His wonders to perform.  Many of us, including me, have been depressed ever since the 2020 fiasco of an election. It is hard to comprehend a good result when someone like Joe Biden is sworn into office as President of the United States. It is even harder to accept this when there is so much evidence that the election was stolen. The hardest thing to believe is that 81 million people really voted for someone like Joe Biden. He couldn’t draw crowds big enough to fill a McDonalds, even with limited capacity and social distancing.

Anyone remotely familiar with Biden’s record had little grounds for optimism. In addition to his life-long history of telling absurd lies, it is impossible to ignore the strong odor of systemic corruption. While all politicians probably have some level of corruption, Biden raised that to a whole new level and the MSM either ignored this or pretended it didn’t matter. Then he issued all those insane executive orders, and the results, predictably,  are disastrous.

But, after losing that election, the Republicans may have won a far bigger battle. The election in Virginia shows that in addition to there being a Santa Claus, there are a lot of Democrats and Independents who see the same things we see. They are not impressed. Sometimes the biggest victories come only after experiencing major loss. In 1968 the Buffalo Bills stunk up the joint. As a result, in 1969 they got first pick in the NFL draft and picked O.J. Simpson. Long before he began running from the police, he did a great job running circles around NFL defenses. The same thing happened to Pittsburgh in 1969, so in 1970 they gambled on a guy named Terry Bradshaw.  Now it is important to remember losing bad enough to get the first pick in the draft is not always all that great. A lot of the first picks in the NFL draft were horrible. Just ask any Oakland Raiders fan about Jamarcus Russell.

Republicans appear to be on the road to taking back both the House and the Senate during the 2022 elections. Long before that, the winds of change will be sweeping across the American landscape. Let’s hope they seize the day and realize that Joe Biden just may have been the ultimate gift.

Democrats are trying and failing to get any part of Joe Biden’s plan passed. No one in either party is even pretending to look to Joe for guidance. Those days are long gone. They have been replaced, brilliantly, by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis with the “Brandon Administration.” Expect that to go nearly as viral as “Let’s go Brandon.”

A lot of things are happening, and they will accelerate problems for the DNC. It is going to be increasing difficult to get people to do drastic things guaranteed not to work in a failed attempt to stop climate change (global warming) when this winter is likely to be extremely cold. This, combined with the botched response to Covid, the pushback against mandatory vaccinations and illogical mask mandates would be bad enough. But you have to throw in sky rocking gas prices, rapidly rising food prices and empty shelves because of the supply shortage. Add in the idiotic attempt by Terry McAuliffe to campaign by saying parents don’t deserve a voice in their child’s education. And by the way, some of the strongest critics of critical race theory are black people who know real racism when they see it. But wait, there is more, much more.

The January 6^th hearings, designed to expose the Trump Insurrection is guaranteed to backfire. One serious problem is there was no insurrection and no organized attempt to overthrow the government. No one has even been charged with that, although Democrats made that ridiculous attempt to impeach Trump apparently to end his term in office 24 hours early. There are way too many videos of that day, and while a lot of people acted like jerks and deserve to be punished, it pales in comparison to the BLM and Antifa protests lovingly embraced by CNN and others. The truth will come out about this, and the Adam Schiff’s of this world are totally incapable of preventing that.

But wait, there is more. John Durham has apparently been working to put people in jail He isn’t playing games, he is out to prosecute people. Sometimes that takes longer than anyone wants, but what really matters is the result. The Russian collusion myth has not only been shredded, but people are also going to jail for a criminal conspiracy that everyone knows was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

This would be bad enough, but there is more. According to Rasmussen, who has a habit of getting things righter than any other pollster, 56% of Voters now think there was cheating during the 2020 election and even 47% of black voters believe that.

It looks like the big lie was not Trump saying the election was rigged, but rather the MSM ignoring the obvious and promoting the ridiculous. Anyone who has paid five minutes attention to elections in densely populated metropolitan areas knows that Democrats miraculously win every election, with little regard to the popularity of the candidate. If an election is even close, last minute ballots always swing the vote over to the Democrat. This is what we saw in New Jersey this week. The problem is that even though this is beyond obvious, it is very difficult to prove. Until now. Now we have a lot of audits, and we have the ability to track things electronically in ways that would have been previously impossible. One of two things will happen and sooner rather than later. Either there was no election fraud in 2020 and that will be proven or there was election fraud and that will be increasingly undeniable. Wise people would not bet against wide-spread election fraud.

That brings one really important question. Which is worse, Donald Trump questioning an election because it stunk to high heaven, or RINO Republicans and Democrats ignoring the obvious even when it puts the Brandon Administration in charge with predictable results?

It was easy to fool the usual suspects and most of the MSM, but as Abraham Lincoln once said, “you can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.”

Like Governor DeSantis said: “The Brandon Administration.” No need to translate. Everyone know exactly what he means.

Up until today, the Democratic Party was in a state of denial. Oh, honest people know that Joe Biden was stinking up the joint and Kamala Harris was worse. They knew the House couldn’t pass anything and if it did, the Senate wouldn’t pass it. Neither Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer have much control over anything because Nancy has a paper-thin margin in the House and the Senate is literally tied.

But somehow, they were able to convince themselves that they were fooling the entire country, just like they fooled the MSM. That Joe Biden really got 81 million votes and he was doing great! That all ended tonight. Even the people on CNN and MSNBC can smell defeat when the odor is this overwhelming. More importantly, so can the vast majority of Democrats up for re-election in 2022. Quite frankly, if you are a Democrat representing anything other than a deep blue inner-city district where Republicans never win, you are terrified. Even in deep blue districts there are grounds for concern. You are also seeking Susan, or should I say seeking something miraculous to stay in office. It sure won’t be the same ole same ole. One thing is certain, Democrats pulled in the traditional heavy hitters, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Not only did they fail to save the day, it looks like they made things worse. No sane Democrat will want to take any risk of being linked to any of the above. They will still put up with Schumer and Pelosi, but only because they directly control the DNC purse strings. But don’t be surprised if smart people in the DNC can see and smell disaster too. John Kennedy said that victory has a thousand fathers but defeat an orphan. The Democratic Establishment is officially in charge of the biggest orphanage in American History. It is important to remember that money follows the power, if Democrats lose power, they also lose financial support.

One of the first things to happen will be a full-scale retreat from some of the more insane taxes proposed by Joe Biden. You can also declare the defund the police idiocy as dead on arrival. Biden’s plan to tax unrealized capital gains will result in full scale revolt from the real super rich he pretends to condemn while secretly embracing. The sad truth is that many of those super rich, including Hollywood Celebrities, put up with this nonsense because they don’t think this will ever impact them. But there are people in the DNC who fail to grasp this concept and some of them, if not actually calling the shots, are certainly capable of holding everything else hostage.

In addition to winning all those state-wide offices in Virginia, a  Republican has a chance to win in New Jersey. But that election is close, so watch for miraculous late minute votes showing up in major metropolitan areas, all for Democrats.

In Virginia, this happened not because Republicans turned out in droves, which they did, but rather because Democrats and Independents are furious at the extreme left-wing lurch by the Democratic Party, and they all notice the negative impact on their lives. We really haven’t seen anything like this in a long time and no one should underestimate this. Granted, if the Republican Party was still managed by the usual suspect RINOs, they would probably find a way to botch this. But there are a lot of new voices and real leaders in the Republican Party and while Trump taught a lot of them how to win, this is a lot bigger than Donald Trump. Frankly, the best campaigner for any Republican candidate for office is Joe Biden and Democrats have to continue riding that horse whether they want to or not. He gets worse every day, everything gets worse, every day, and the Democratic Party has become so dominated by the extreme liberal left that they literally have no bench. There is not a single Democrat, with national name recognition, remotely capable of providing the leadership necessary during this time of crisis. Gavin Newsom stopped the recall, but he still failed the test and no, the rest of the country, really doesn’t want to be anything like California.

Just think about this, Democrats had a wide-open primary season for the Presidential nomination in 2020 and every single candidate was defeated by Joe Biden, not because of anything Joe Biden did, but because they were all too plain awful to even consider. Now, while all the talking heads, Biden, Obama, Gore and Kerry are demanding drastic steps to stop climate change (global warming) if you look out your window, it is not getting warmer, it is getting colder. Much colder. I don’t make weather predictions, because even the experts get this wrong a lot of the time. But some things are obvious. The Antarctic is Colder, the Arctic is Colder, the Atlantic Ocean off the East Coast is colder, the Pacific Ocean off the West Coast is colder and Valdez, Alaska, which always gets a lot of snow, got over 12 feet in two days. That was a record even for them. Here in California we got the most rain in a single day since 1880. And this was in October while most of the heavy rain seems to come in winter, not the early fall. So, at the same time we are being told to be terrified about global warming, a least some people will look out their window and say: “seriously?” There could even be a mad rush for winter coats, most of which are literally on a slow boat from China.

Right now, there is a gigantic river running straight through the Democratic Party, it is called Denial (The Nile) and it is rapidly running out of water.

All eyes will be on Virginia tomorrow. Everyone is wondering if Terry McAuliffe will find a way to win (steal) the election. Every poll shows him trailing big time and he can’t draw a crowd big enough to fill a phone booth. His opponent, Glen Youngkin, on the other hand appears to be surging. Few people would predict McAuliffe winning in an honest election. But those of us who watched clueless Joe Biden get 81 million votes are prepared for anything. Incredibly it seems possible that McAuliffe may still lose. He is clearly terrified, which is why his campaign has already sued the Post Office for allegedly not delivering 300,000 absentee ballots. No one seems to know what ballots they are even talking about, and the Post Office immediately dismissed this as nonsense.  Perhaps the real question is why, if McAuliffe thought he was winning, would they do this. Sure looks like absolute panic to me.

McAuliffe was allegedly leading or at least tied in every poll, until he got help from Barack Obama, Joe Biden and even Kamala Harris. Once people saw these performances, he began shredding potential voters in the polls and some show him losing by a huge margin. A margin so large that even 300,000 miraculous last minute absentee voters may not be enough.

Virginia used to be a rational state, but it is now dominated by the usual suspects commuting to Washington, D.C. The closer one gets to Washington, D.C. the less likely they are to exhibit rational thought and no place is closer than Virginia, although Maryland is lurking there to the north. In addition, remember that people like Joe Biden allegedly commuted to and from Washington D.C. on Amtrack.

In any event, if Youngkin wins in Virginia this will be the shot heard round the world. Even Kamala Harris stupidly admitted that in her failed attempt to help McAuliffe over the line. At this point, it is far from sure that Democrats can steal enough votes to stave off the inevitable.

By the way, in 1862 West Virginia had enough and literally left the state. Now normally when there is talk about part of a state moving to another state, it is just nonsense. But in West Virginia that actually happened, and  they have now sent Allegany, Garrett, and Washington counties an opportunity to accept the invitation first extended in 1862. That would truly be wild, but appears to be a real possibility:

In any event, we are headed toward virgin territory. If McAuliffe wins, we can expect widespread skepticism about the results. But if Youngkin wins, we can be sure Democrats will scream foul. The only thing certain is uncertainty. Frankly no matter how this turns out, the fact that it is even close screams loudly about the Obama, Biden and Harris fall from grace. No one is pretending that anyone cares about what they have to say, and some may be voting the other way, just to spite.

My own prediction is that is McAuliffe loses, it will cause widespread panic among any Democrat seeking re-election in 2022. It might even scare some of them enough to consider doing the right thing for the right reason, but it is never wise to predict this kind of behavior from an elected Democrat. Frankly, I think that will happen regardless of the results, but if McAuliffe bites the dust, it will happen at the speed of light. We will see material changes in the Democratic Party that will arrive faster than previously ordered Christmas Presents.

Remember the key principle in the Democratic Party. They can never lose, for any reason. But if they do, they always find someone or something to blame. In this case, all of that will fall on the sloping shoulders of sleepy Joe Biden. Hank Williams, the cowboy prophet wrote about this in July 1952.

Governor Gruesome has a knack for getting everything wrote. His remarks in this article, prior to the recall, are coming back to haunt him.

“Newsom pointed to leading recall challenger Larry Elder’s assertion that he would end the state’s mask and vaccine requirements immediately if he is elected governor.

“His model is Texas and Florida, and Mississippi,” Newsom said. “We have among the lowest positivity rates in America. They have the highest positivity rates in America. We have one of the lowest case rates in America. They’re among the highest.”

Then he bragged that:

“California’s COVID test positivity rate of 4.6% is the seventh lowest in the country and a decrease from 7.1% several weeks ago, Newsom said.

In comparison, Texas, Florida and Mississippi all have seven-day positivity rates between 15% and 20%, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”

These remarks did not age well. Today it was reported that Florida COVID cases, and the death rate have dropped to among the lowest levels in the U.S. Even MSN is covering this:

Every statistic, in recent weeks has shown Florida rates dropping steadily.  But the MSM just ignored this. Florida has a significantly older population than California, so the results should be much worse. They ignored that too. In addition, there are few mask mandates and even fewer lockdowns. Instead, Florida is wide open and focusing on things like vaccines for people who want them and Monoclonal antibody treatments.  Here is the official Florida website:

Meanwhile Governor Newsom is jetting off to Scotland for the United Nations Climate Change Conference. It is too bad his route is unlikely to over fly Florida, because he just might get a glimpse of a state that is handling COVID very well, thank you, without all the unnecessary and annoying nonsense.

Further proof that when they say climate change, they ALWAYS mean global warming. The truth is we don’t even know what effect rising CO2 levels are having on climate and no one predicts that reducing them will change anything anytime in the near or even distant future.

The following article from MIT, while attempting to explain the greenhouse theory, instead explains why they can’t even measure this. In other words, they are guessing.

The only thing they really know is that it has been getting hotter and even that is debatable, because temperatures did not actually rise for several years. This was unacceptable, of course, so places like Stanford rearranged the data to get the desired results.

Let me paraphrase. If at first it doesn’t fit, get a bigger hammer. They didn’t like the results, so they changed the assumptions until they got the result they wanted and needed. This is easy to understand. If your research supports climate change (global warming) you get more money. If not, then good luck getting more funds.

What makes this even more remarkable is that in March 2021, the Arctic Sea ice extent was the ninth lowest in Satellite records:

I am hardly a scientist, but it seems pretty obvious that things in the Arctic are getting colder and it is happening FAST!

In the meantime, the Antarctic has the coldest winter on record.

We need less “California Dreaming” about things that cannot and will not work and pay more attention to places like Florida which did at least and well and potentially better at handling COVID by using common sense. While Gruesome Newsom was arrogantly lecturing us on following the science and destroying our economy in the process, Santos just ignored the nonsense and said let’s focus on what actually works. Lesson learned.

Sunday, we got the highest rainfall ever recorded in a 24/hr. period. It broke a record set in 1880. 1880?  Before the industrial revolution? Here is Folsom we got 7 inches of rain. So, what was the response? A reminder that mandatory water use restrictions are still in effect, we all need to do more to conserve water, and it will take several more storms to change anything. Those doing this California Dreaming might want to check the conditions in the Arctic and watch those low pressure systems start to pile up before predicting permanent drought. Sometimes I really think God has a sense of humor since his response to the warning about drought was to send rain, a lot of rain, but not enough to stop California Dreaming or should I say “California Scheming.”
