Sometimes it sure looks like God has a sense of humor. Just when the climate change fanatics were predicting an above average hurricane season, the opposite happened. Now maybe things will change, but for now this has been a record LOW hurricane system. Not one single named storm during the month of August.

In the meantime, California which just arrogantly announced that effective 2035, you won’t be able to buy a new gas-powered vehicle in California. As soon as this was announced, it started to get hot in California. What a shock, California getting high temperatures in August. Energy consuming hot. It is so hot that Governor Newsom even authorized starting up, gasp, emergency gas powered electrical generators. It won’t be nearly enough. California is already experiencing the dreaded rolling black outs and they are suggesting people not charge their electric vehicle. It is almost as if God decided that he would show Democrats who really runs things.

Any honest person knows that we can’t generate nearly enough electricity from solar and wind. The same people against gas and coal powered generators go nuclear (pun intended) at the thought of nuclear powered generators. Germany made this brilliant decision a few years ago and now is discovering that no gas, no nuclear power stations, means no electricity and very cold houses during those balmy German winters.

Gavin Newsom has brilliantly provided a clear picture of the future if we are stupid enough to put Democrats in charge. This is one time when no matter how stupidly Republicans campaign for office, they may be unable to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, because Democrats are displaying their incompetence in ways that are increasingly impossible to ignore.

Perhaps there is no better demonstration of Democratic incompetence than the selection of Joe Biden to be President of the United States, trying and failing to hide him in is basement for four years and now watching in horror as he speaks publicly demonstrating exactly why he was put in the basement in the first place.

You just can’t make this stuff up. And while the usual suspects in the MSM are still working full time to pretend this is all an illusion, that isn’t working either. Fewer and fewer people pay any attention to the MSM and in addition to shredding viewers, the MSM is shredding profits.

There are a lot of polls, some of them pretending that Democrats are on a rebound. If you believe that, check out Nancy Pelosi secretly campaigned to be Ambassador to somewhere in January, because she sure doesn’t expect to be Speaker of the House anymore. Then ask yourself what country you hate enough to inflict with Ambassador Nancy Pelosi. Try not to laugh.

The only poll that matters is the one where about 70% of the people think we are headed in the wrong direction. Keep in mind that 30% of the population will always vote for the Democrat, because they still think Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat. When only 30% of the population think you are doing a good job, who do you think these people are? Based on recent reports some of them may literally be in prison spending those glorious covid bonuses. Others are those lily-white Harvard Graduates who can’t understand why they should pay for an education even if it gets them about 40% more annual income on average. Ask any plumber, carpenter, or anyone else who makes a living doing something. They will gladly explain this to you.

It is really heating up, and the weather is just the start. I predict a lot of people are going to have difficulty blaming Donald Trump for everything, including climate change. Hating Donald Trump just makes one hot and sweaty, the last thing you need when it is 115 degrees in Sacramento.

Just imagine that climate change is real. Imagine the temperature even hotter. But there is a big difference, because of brilliant decisions by Democrats, we no longer have coal, gas- or nuclear-powered electrical generators. Don’t even think about building any more dams.  Instead, we are relying on wind and solar, which means most people won’t have air conditioning in the summer or heat in the winter. If you think people are motivated when the air conditioning doesn’t work, just imagine how they will respond when they can’t heat their homes in winter.

Just when you though Democrats might get away with this nonsense, here comes the Sun. The good news is that some like it hot.

I don’t know who thought it was a clever idea to have Joe Biden address the nation regarding the nation’s “Soul,” but it was a monumental mistake. Even the usual suspects found extraordinarily little about this worthy of mention. Most of the networks didn’t even bother to broadcast it. In some cases, they broadcast reruns instead.

This was Biden at his worst, or best, depending on perspective. If you are a Democrat and this was designed to help with the midterms, then you should be extremely disappointed. If you are a Republican and hoped that Biden would only embarrass himself, then this was by far his best performance.

He insulted at least half of the population, certainly all of the 70 million who voted for Trump and probably a high percentage of those who may or may not have actually voted for Biden. The setting was awful. The speech was awful. The delivery was awful. This was so bad that even Don Lemon noticed, which is a remarkable accomplishment.

Only a few people even pretended this was good and today most of them are probably having second thoughts. Perhaps something else will happened between now and November, but if not, this could easily go down as one of the worst political blunders in American History. One reason you know this was bad is that it is barely mentioned by the MSM. They aren’t even trying to pretend this was good, just hoping no one will notice. But the problem with this fiasco is that Joe Biden practically demanded everyone pay attention, or else. In addition, the man can’t take a hint, so he is out there again saying the same thing.

This is frankly so bad that it makes one wonder what we are missing. I mean seriously, does anyone think this will help Democrats in the midterm elections?

It is not like Republicans are not trying to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory, the Mitch McConnell wing of the party seems determined to do that. But today the New York Times warned that Democrats have a lot more problems in the Senate than is being reported in the MSM. This is Labor Day weekend, and the election starts today. Republicans have a lot more money than people realize and there is a lot of private money also flowing in. More importantly CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN refused to run Biden’s speech, because they viewed it as a political speech during an election cycle. That may just mean they will be more balanced this time around, if only to try and salvage some of their viewing audience. If the Democrats do not receive their traditional full-throated support from the MSM, they have a problem. If the MSM actually started asking challenging questions and reporting the news, this is more than a problem, it is a full-on crisis.

Sometimes people don’t understand the nuances of political group think. But everyone understands when the price of gas skyrockets. And everyone understands when the cost of everything is much higher. They also understand when store shelves are increasingly empty. But perhaps more importantly, the fake news image of Joe Biden as a nice guy, you can trust has also been destroyed. Instead, he increasingly comes across as a bitter, angry man with extraordinarily little patience if something goes wrong.

If you think this was bad enough, well there is more. In the report filed by the Judge approving Donald Trump’s request for a special master. She included the following:

“On May 10, 2022, NARA informed Plaintiff that it would proceed with provid(ing) the FBI access to the records in question, as requested by the incumbent President.”

If accurate, this is a bombshell, particularly when the Biden administration pretended, they only learned of the raid after it was reported on the news. We never know which polls are really accurate. We do know that polls sure seem to over estimate Democratic support in every election. But when 70% of people say the country is headed in the wrong direction, don’t bet on the current driver of the bus.

If Joe Biden did actually defeat Donald Trump in 2020, it was by a campaign of not campaigning. In the case of Joe Biden, the less anyone sees of him the better. But after this speech, where the real Joe Biden was full display, it may be nothing less than the thundering heard. We all heard him this time and no one was impressed.

On July 25, 2022, Senator Chuck Grassley sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and Director of the FBI Christopher Wray. Here is a link to that letter:

This letter starts out with specific reference to Timothy Thibault:

“On May 31, 2022, I wrote to you regarding likely violations of Federal laws, regulations, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) guidelines by Assistant Special Agent in Charge (“ASAC”) Timothy Thibault of the Washington Field Office (“WFO”).”

Senator Grassley mentioned that this May 31, 2022, letter “invited individuals, including current and former government employees, to contact me and my office to confidentially report allegations of fraud, waste, abuse and gross mismanagement by the FBI and Justice Department (“Department”) officials including, but not limited to, ASAC Thibault. In response, my office has received a significant number of protected communications from highly credible whistleblowers.”

ASAC Thibault resigned from the FBI on August 26, 2022, almost exactly 30 days after Grassley sent this letter. He was clearly escorted from the building.

Mr. Thibault has retained legal counsel. His attorneys released a statement on his behalf. Here is a link to that statement:

The statement says: “Mr. Thibault was not fired, not forced to retire, and not asked to retire.” T The letter admits that “There have been allegations that Mr. Thibault’s social media posts potentially violated the Hatch Act, and those allegations are being investigated by the Office of Special Counsel.”

About a month ago is about the time the DOJ and the FBI received Grassley’s letter. Coincidence? Mr. Thibault was admittedly under investigation by the FBI Office of Special Counsel, and it should be no surprise that he “decided” retirement was a great option.

Then: “Mr. Thibault was not involved in the search at Mar-a-Lago, either in its planning or its execution.” One notes this does not address his involvement in preparing the affidavit supporting that search warrant.

Finally. “Mr. Thibault did not supervise the investigation of Hunter Biden, which, as confirmed by the FBI Director on August 4, 2022, is being handled by the Baltimore Field Office. In particular, Mr. Thibault was not involved in any decisions related to any laptop that may be at issue in that investigation, and he did not seek to close the investigation.”

What matters here is that his attorneys felt it necessary to even address the investigation of Hunter Biden.

This letter was prepared by competent attorneys retained by Mr. Thibault. Obviously, this letter is in response to reports in the media that the attorney’s felt were damaging to their client and undoubtedly in response to the admitted investigation by the FBI Office of Special Counsel.

Mr. Thibault resigned and was escorted out of the building. One would imagine that most FBI ASAC’s retiring after 30 years, would be more likely to be given a high-profile retirement party rather than to just leave the premises escorted by two “friends.”

If anything, this statement from his attorneys is evidence that there is a bombshell story here and the DOJ, FBI and his attorneys would definitely like to see this, and Mr. Thibault, go away, quietly. That is the least likely outcome.

The timing of this unprecedented raid on Mar-a-logo, and the numerous reports of whistleblowers contacting Mr. Grassley and Mr. Jordan cannot be ignored. So far, the FBI hasn’t come close to justifying this raid. In addition, the obviously staged photos of alleged classified documents lying on a carpet is impossible to justify. If these documents are so critical to our national security, why on earth take a picture of them. Does anyone really believe Trump was leaving these documents laying on the floor like that. Among other things, Trump and his documents were under Secret Service protection. The primary significance of it is why would someone do this and more importantly then leak it to the press?

It sure looks like a perfect political storm is on the horizon. This story is not going away. Joe Biden calling Trump supporters “semi-fascists” and then planning on giving a national address to the “Soul of the Nation” is almost guaranteed to backfire. Combine this with the idiotic and potentially illegal decision to forgive Student Loan debt while raising taxes on the middle class and if you look closely, you can see a massive red wave on the way.

There are numerous reports that a significant number of FBI agents have presented themselves as whistleblowers regarding bias at the FBI. The MSM, as expected, ignored this story. It does not appear that many people were interested. But now there has been a report from John Solomon, a very skilled reporter, that the FBI Assistance Special Agent in Charge at the DC office resigned suddenly last Friday, and according to reports was escorted out of the office by “Home office looking types.”

Tim Thibault was also allegedly the FBI Assistant Agent in Charge of investigating voter fraud during the 2020 election. He is reportedly the agent who opened the Trump Investigation. There are reports that he falsified information that was presented to both Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merritt Garland in order to justify the subpoena served on Mar-a-logo.

”Mr. Thibault was seen exiting the bureau’s elevator last Friday escorted by two or three “headquarters-looking types,” according to eyewitness accounts provided to one of the former officials.”

“Whistleblowers alleged that Thibault concealed the partisan nature of evidence from FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland to secure their approval to open an investigation into former President Donald Trump. That investigation culminated in the FBI’s raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this month.

The public release of the affidavit that accompanied the search warrant revealed the warrant application relied heavily on information from news articles, including a CBS Miami piece titled “Moving Trucks Spotted At Mar-a-Lago” and a Breitbart News article in which former Trump adviser Kash Patel discussed the classified status of documents the bureau previously removed from the estate on behalf of the National Archives.

If any of this is true, then it appears that both Christopher Wray and Merritt Garland may have been duped by someone they absolutely trusted. If this was the FBI Agent who purportedly investigated election fraud during the 2020 election, then William Barr may have also been seriously mislead.

We already know the FBI is flailing badly in an attempt to justify conducting this raid on the residence of a former President of the United States. If this report is accurate, some of the information presented as facts in that affidavit were actually poorly sourced stories in the MSM. At a minimum, this would he highly embarrassing for both Christopher Wray and Merritt Garland. This is the type of situation where a sacrificial lamb may be desperately needed.

We already know that even some of the usual suspects in the MSM were privately skeptical about raiding Mar-a-logo. Others in the MSM choose to believe the worst about Donald Trump, because that is hard boiled into their DNA. But the more we learn about this story, the more likely this was an enormous mistake. The blame game is almost certainly underway.

Combine this with Bill Gates admitting that the FBI told him to bury the Hunter Biden Laptop story. The FBI issued a non-denial, denial, which means they admitted to giving Gates the warning about misinformation, they just deny saying the Hunter Biden Laptop was misinformation. However, it is clear that this is exactly how Bill Gates interpreted the conversation.

Trump is demanding that either the 2020 election be overturned or there be a new election. That demand was greeted with hysteria by the MSM, and there is actually no provision in the U.S. constitution to do something like that. But perhaps Donald Trump knew something they did not know.

I remember watching Joe Biden sworn into office. One thought that went through my mind at the time was: “What if the election was stolen?” Once Biden took the oath of office, what were the options for fixing such an enormous error. If the Vice President were someone qualified to be President, that would be an option. But the Vice President is Kamala Harris, and she is one of the few people on this planet that makes Joe Biden look good in comparison.

No one can predict where this goes. Even if the MSM and the Democratic Party tries to ignore this story, it is already being reported in several places and this is too juicy for anyone to ignore. As stated above, there are already reports of numerous whistleblowers in the FBI. There are also some very bright and ambitious journalists in the MSM who are likely to at least try to seize the day. One thing is certain, if Mr. Thibault used false or poorly sourced information to convince the Attorney General of the United States and the Director of the FBI to approve a raid on Mar-a-logo, then this could easily go nuclear.

One thing is very clear. A lot of people are saying Democrats are staging a comeback, Joe Biden is rebounding, and Donald Trump is in serious jeopardy. Others are saying the red wave is real and growing, Joe Biden is still slip siding away, and no serious person thinks Trump faces any significant legal jeopardy. Obviously, somebody is very wrong. My money is on those who have made so many previous predictions that this time, Trump is in serious trouble, being wrong, again.

From my perspective it looks like, once again, a lot of supposedly smart people are going full mental jacket because Donald Trump continues to live, free, in their heads, making it impossible to see let alone handle the truth.

Democrats and their fawning supporters in the MSM are trying desperately to pretend that the economy is not really in a recession, Joe Biden is actually President of the United States, and he is doing a great job. The Build Back Better plan, oops, the Inflation Reduction Act, will lower inflation by increasing government spending and raising taxes. Giving a $10,000 student loan refund, to the people who least need it but are most likely to vote Democratic, is not all that popular. But none of this stopped the usual suspects from pretending that the red wave, which they denied existed, is starting to fade.

Well, they just got a brutal dose of reality. Fed Chair Jerome Powell reiterated the Fed’s commitment to taming the inflation Joe Biden thinks does not exist. He warned investors that rate increases will bring some pain to households and businesses, but such hardship is the cost of reducing inflation.

The result was that the Dow tumbled by 1,000 points. Even people who don’t actually own stocks know this is a problem.

In the meantime, Oil prices are climbing again. Russia has replenished its gas storage, while Europe is trying desperately to secure more gas, from Russia. What could possibly go wrong? Households in the UK are expecting to pay 178% more for heat this winter compared to last year.

All this while Joe Biden is bragging about lower gas prices and pretending there was no inflation during June and July. While some in the MSM are at least pretending to buy this, the American people are not fooled at all. The only remaining hope is the FBI raid on Mar-a-logo. We now know the FBI logic behind this, and it is a real doozey. They fear that Mar-a-logo is being infiltrated by Russian spies who may gain access to highly sensitive information stored sloppily by Donald Trump. Seriously? This is your best explanation for this ill-advised adventure. Is anyone other than Don Lemon or perhaps Anderson Cooper prepared to buy this nonsense?

Might we remind them that Hillary Clinton stored classified emails on her server which was almost certainly hacked by Russia. But no one in the MSM noticed or cares because all that matters is this is against Trump, and that justifies anything and everything.

I wonder if any of them have ever considered what would happen if Trump was actually indicted. Since the Grand Jury is apparently from Washington D.C., and history shows us that a fair hearing is impossible in that jurisdiction, indictment is possible. In DC, Democrats who are clearly guilty walk while Republicans who dare walk on the sidewalk are always guilty. But the real jury would be the jury of public opinion and any indictment of Donald Trump would be met with outrage. Not necessarily because they believe Trump is as innocent as a snow-white dove, but rather because there are so many prominent Democrats who have done so much worse. An indictment of Trump would be viewed as an act of desperation and even if he was convicted, it would turn him into a martyr. The only thing that would backfire more is if he was assassinated. Even people who are sick and tired of Trump are even more sick and tired of those who let him live freely in their delusional heads.

The opposite of love is not hate; it is apathy. I know many people who think Hillary Clinton was awful, that Bill Clinton was a horrible President, and that Obama was the most over-rated politician in American History. But they just ignore them and don’t want to hear anything about them or from them. They are over them. Over and out. Just ask the people at Netflix. The more people hate Donald Trump, the more others will love him. By hating him they elevate him. I wonder if any of them realize that?

The other thing they miss is that for all his faults, it is Trump who actually listens to people and who does what he said he would do. His opponents promise the world and deliver little or nothing. That is unless they promise to do something really stupid, those are the only promises they keep.

The real problem for Democrats is that they are wrong on almost every issue, and they are oblivious to how the average American views things. The party that used to be for the little guy, now caters to the super rich white elite, a constituency despised by the rest of us. In the meantime, Joe Biden, stupidly believing he is bursting with success has instead flushed the Democratic Party along with him right down the drain. What you really saw when the Dow dropped 1,000 points was what happens when you use a plunger on a clogged toilet. All the crap is about to exit.

I can think of no better way to prepare for the midterm elections. The facts are really obvious, although one would not know that by listening to the MSM including Fox News. The American people are angry, they are frustrated, and they are scared. They know firsthand the reality of inflation. The have zero faith in Joe Biden or the Democrats who put him in office. They know our borders are an open mess. They know the homeless problem is out of control and getting worse. They know that violent crime is increasing everywhere. They also know that Joe Biden is an international joke. These problems are beyond obvious.

The Democratic solution was to send the FBI in on a silly raid in a desperate attempt to finally find something to pin on Donald Trump. Even Democrats who dislike Trump are not impressed. Today we learn that the Clinton loyalist Judge who signed off on the search warrant is not impressed. Odds are he can smell disaster written all over this and he wants to distance himself. Unless the FBI has something really big up their sleeve, they are in serious trouble.

So why are some people in the MSM saying Democrats are gaining ground. Perhaps it is because they want to keep people interested. Perhaps it is because that is what they want to happen. Perhaps they are just wrong. It really doesn’t matter. What does matter is this. Every poll that asks people what is important to them is yielding very similar results. If you ask the same people who is more likely to fix things, Democrats or Republicans, then Democrats are in deep trouble.

So far, every ad I have seen run by a Democrat has been focused on “pro-choice” and “gun control.” Yet neither of those are even in the top three issues that concern Americans. None of the Democratic ads even mention Joe Biden. Yet numerous ads run by Republicans mention being endorsed by Donald Trump. There is a reason for that. So far, candidates who were endorsed by Trump are winning, at least in Republican primaries.

There are other important factors, ignored by the MSM. Every poll that measures Republicans v Democrats has a history of overstating Democratic results. If Republicans are slightly behind, smart observers consider them ahead. When Republicans poll higher than Democrats on the generic ballot, then listen to the song again.

I believe there are also two other factors that the MSM ignores to their peril. One is that, despite their best efforts, this election will be far fairer than the 2020 election. While the MSM continues to turn a blind eye toward all that was wrong in the 2020 election, the problems were all too real and beyond obvious. There have been new voter ID laws passed and the opportunity for widespread fraud is going to be harder this time.

Another factor is the importance of incumbency. Normally, a politician in office has a good chance of getting re-elected. But, when things are going south, the opposite is true. People want change, they are demanding change and change, well, requires change. That is bad for incumbents and there are more Democratic incumbents than Republicans. Also, because Democrats are in charge, Republican incumbents have a better argument that keeping them in office means change.

Things are now moving at the speed of light. We are two weeks away from Labor Day, which is when mid-term elections become white hot. We can expect politicians and special interest groups to spend enough money on stupid political ads to significantly reduce the national debt. But things have changed. People don’t read newspapers anymore; they don’t watch Network news anymore and even FOX has fewer viewers than before. If people are like us and have “On Demand” they seldom watch anything live, because they prefer to fast forward through the commercials, all the commercials but especially the political commercials. The result is that the ability to “buy an election” has been greatly diminished.

Things have now reached the point where even Republicans are running out of time to blow it. The ridiculous raid on Mar-a-logo which was designed to save the day for Democrats had the opposite effect. Normally if there is an international crisis, the country will unite behind the President. But Joe Biden has changed that too. Now if there is an international crisis, few if any will be comforted by the thought that Joe Biden is calling the shots.

There are several news stories, that if confirmed will absolutely blow the lid off the Mar-a-logo raid. So far, most of the reporting is from the Gateway Pundit, but if true, these will be soon verified elsewhere:

This seems well documented. It is hard to imagine anyone ignoring the implications of an FBI agent admitting the following:

“I erased the contents of the computer hard knowing that the court has ordered that the computer be submitted for a forensic examination. I did so with the intention of making the contents of the computer’s hard unavailable for forensic examination. At the time, I knew that the contents of the hard drive were relevant to an official proceeding, that is, Cause No. 5:17-CR-50010, United States v. Woods et al. I corruptly performed and had performed, the erasures with intent to impair the integrity and availability of the computer hard drive and its contents for use in that official proceeding.”

This was clearly a politically involved investigation of former State Senator Jon Woods who was the first elected official in Arkansas to endorse Donald Trump. He was charged with fraud regarding donations to a Christian School. He is currently in prison an 18-year sentence.

We also know that the Judge who authorized the search warrant previously recused himself from the Trump RICO case. Trump filed a claim against Hillary Clinton, the FBI, the DOJ and people like Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, and Clinesmith.

The defendants have argued that the case be dismissed because of a “statute of limitations” issue. In other words, this happened more than two years ago.

Trump just shared the above Memorandum documenting that he had ordered: Declassification of Certain Materials Related to the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane Investigation.

The FBI has refused to verify what exact documents it was seeking and is refusing to publish the affidavit that requested this subpoena. There are numerous reports that the FBI showed up in force, DOJ attorneys were there, the Trump attorneys were ordered outside, and, the FBI demanded that the surveillance system be turned off. The search took over 9 hours.

I am not a fan of conspiracy theories, on either side of any issue. But if the FBI did this raid in an attempt to obtain “Crossfire Hurricane” documents which could be damaging to the reputation of the FBI, this is beyond bad. One thing is certain, the attempt to do this 90 days before the midterm elections immediately raises questions. Why so urgent, particularly when the FBI absolutely refused to investigate Hunter Biden, in 2020, for fear of impacting a federal election. Is it a coincidence that this happened shortly after Trump filed the RICO lawsuit. Was the FBI concerned about documents in the possession of Trump regarding questionable activity by the FBI?

If you combine this with an FBI agent admitting he destroyed critical evidence, you add in the numerous reports of FBI informants involved in the alleged kidnapping plot against Michigan Governor Witmer and consider the reports of FBI informants heavily involved in the January 6^th events, the circumstantial evidence is piling up.

There are now too many things going on to ignore. Even the MSM may start paying serious attention. Few people, in either party, bought the FBI explanation for the Mar-a-logo raid. While some of the usual suspects have continued to argue that it is Trump in serious trouble, the same people have been making the same prediction numerous times in the past and have always been proven wrong.

Just imagine if the real purpose of the raid was to obtain and hide or destroy documents that threatened the credibility of the FBI. Anyone remotely connected with this should be running for cover, as fast as they can. Since many of these people are potentially corrupt, they are not actually stupid, so they are very likely to at least try and distance themselves. Jim Jordan says he has been contacted by 14 FBI whistleblowers. The boiler is heating up. There is no apparently emergency release valve. A gigantic explosion is certainly possible if not predictable

In the meantime, as I watch this I have only one question: “Seriously?” Is this remotely possible? How is this even possible? Either way, the implications are so explosive that a whole lot of people better start taking this seriously. It is time for serious people to ask serious questions, seriously.

Democrats better hope that the FBI raid on Donald Trump’s home results in finding a really huge bombshell. However, based on previous results, which seems extremely unlikely. Instead, this looks like, another, act of absolute desperation. Even worse, it creates the distinct impression that the FBI and the DOJ has been fully weaponized by the Biden Administration against political opponents.

The alleged reason for the raid was that Trump may have taken classified documents to Mar-a-Lago. I wonder if anyone considered having the FBI raid the Southern White House in Key West, the Bush compound in Kennebunkport or the Kennedy complex in Hyannis Port? How about the 33,000 emails Hillary Clinton deleted? What on earth is going on here? Do they seriously think Trump was planning some bizarre insurrection plot? Was he selling secrets to Russia? Was he making business deals with China? There is zero evidence of any of that, at least regarding Donald Trump. With Biden, well not so much.

One person said the goal was to find “some” classified documents so they could make it illegal for Trump to run for President again. That seems too dumb and conspiratorial to believe, but sadly a lot of people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome embrace this kind of nonsense.

Some have even suggested that the real intent was to make people so angry they would resort to huge demonstrations with violence. In other words, they hope people will resort to using tactics similar to what Democrats want you to believe happened on January 6, 2021.

There is even some who surmise that the DOJ and the FBI wanted to prevent Trump from releasing documents that would be embarrassing to them. That seems hard to believe, but then this whole situation is unbelievable.

Regardless of why, I believe this is a gross miscalculation regarding the people who support Trump and the people who oppose the Democratic agenda. They are not the basket of deplorables described by Hillary Clinton. Nor are they the right-wing white supremacists described by Joe Biden. Neither are they the racist homophobic misogynist bigots according to Kamala Harris. These are people too busy working to show up for violent protests. When they do show up to protest, it is almost always peaceful unless outside agitators like Antifa show up. Most of them don’t know anything about the Proud Boys, or QAnon. They don’t even know anybody remotely connected to a white supremacist organization.

Increasingly they are angry, bordering on furious. The difference is they will express that anger by showing up in droves in November and voting They still believe in this country. They still believe in the rule of law. They still believe in Democracy and elections. They have never been more motivated.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The attempt by the liberal left to fundamentally change this country is generating a backlash they cannot even imagine. But unlike the left, which routinely resorts to violence against anyone who dares disagree with them, this battle will be fought with laws and votes not violence and intimidation. I genuinely think this raid was a Bridge too far. This is ridiculous. It is inexcusable and it is incredibly stupid. It fully exposed the agenda of the liberal left, and it is an ugly picture, impossible to ignore. If Democrats are either unwilling or unable to recognize the reality of this blatant abuse of power, how, exactly can anyone ever trust them again, on any subject.

So far there has been total silence from the DOJ, the FBI and even the White House. The Biden Administration pretends they learned about this from news reports. I honestly don’t know which is worse for them. Knowing this was going to happen and not stopping it or being so out of touch that something this huge could happen and they didn’t even know what was going on.

Either way, the DOJ and the FBI better produce an explanation like right now, or this will absolutely explode. Just think about this. These are the same clowns who refused to investigate Hunter Biden because they feared it might impact an election. Yet there is zero hesitation regarding sending FBI agents, armed with Machine Guns, to raid Mar-a-logo. The optics on this are so bad that they don’t make enough sunglasses to block the glare.

I decided to call this the “Great Fraid” because while it was a raid, it appears to have zero to do with law enforcement and everything to do with being terrified of Donald Trump. But this time they colored way outside the lines, and everyone noticed. Andrew Cuomo criticized this. It is really hard to do something so outrageous that even Andrew Cuomo is offended. Unless the DOJ and the FBI come up with some explanation for this, immediately, the current wall of silence will become a gigantic and irresistible silent storm.

My wife’s family is from North Tonawanda, New York which is a short distance from Niagara Falls. As a result, I have been to Niagara Falls many times. Every time I see the falls, I ask myself the same question. “Who discovered the existence of these falls?” Imagine yourself in a canoe, enjoying the nice strong current, only to notice a loud noise and an enormous cloud of mist ahead. Suddenly you find yourself headed toward the brink of Niagara Falls with no potential of avoiding going over the edge. Enjoy the ride, it will be your last.

Today the entire Democratic Party has voted to go over the falls. They have convinced themselves that the solution to the problems created in large part by their own irresistible urge to spend money they don’t have on things no one needs is to spend more money they don’t have on things no one needs. Somehow, they think this will result in a huge win that will propel them to victory during the mid-term elections. If this succeeds, we are doomed, not because of this impact of this legislative nightmare, but because the country will have proven itself to be irredeemably stupid.

The least likely outcome will be that the inflation reduction act will have any impact on reducing inflation. Even the usual left-wing socialists masquerading as objective journalists in the MSM are scratching their heads on this one. Every poll shows that the number one concern for most people is the economy and whether fair or not, most people blame Joe Biden. It is hard to find anyone, other than a Democrat in congress, who thinks this is a good idea. Yet every single Democrat in the Senate voted for this disaster, and it was passed with the vote of the only person in the country more incompetent than Joe Biden. What could possibly go wrong?

Perhaps I am wrong. Perhaps this is pure economic genius. Perhaps spending billions on things, we don’t need with money we don’t have will miraculously turn this recession into an economic boom. Imagine you are a person who inherited a ton of wealth. You decide you no longer needed to earn money; you can just spend it. You buy houses and cars you don’t need. Eventually you run out of money, so you borrow more money to buy more houses and cars you don’t need. This has been tried by some of the richest families in this country, and the results have always been the same. The only question is how soon it will become obvious that this is the economic equivalent of pouring gasoline on a fire to try and slow the spread? My guess is far sooner than anyone can even imagine because every smart businessman is looking at this and unless they are on the receiving end of a ton of cash are saying, “uh, no.”

I wonder if Democrats in congress even realize what they have accomplished. We are now at the point where even life-long Democrats are increasingly likely to vote for Republicans, not because they deserve their support, but rather because the entire Democratic Party just voted to go over the edge. Things are so bad that the margin of victory for Republicans may be so large that even the vaunted Democratic fraud machine is unlikely to find enough votes to change the outcome. This is so bad that even some of the really poor candidates stupidly chosen to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory may accidentally still win in spite of their best efforts.

One other thing about Niagara Falls. Things that go over the edge, tend to get caught in the currents under the falls, smashed to pieces, until the falls spits out the remains to get washed away in the downstream current.

We are already starting to see how China is responding to the visit to Taiwan by Nancy Pelosi. Things are spiraling downward, only this time starting in China and headed toward us. China has already declared that it was stopping all dialogue with the U.S. on major issues. In addition, China is formally withdrawing from the Climate Change accord reached with Barack Obama in 2014. “Cooperation on returning illegal immigrants, criminal investigations, transnational crime, illegal drugs, and climate change will be suspended. “

This of course is in addition to military exercises and firing test missiles.

China wasn’t actually doing all that much to eliminate emissions. Now they won’t even pretend anymore. We can be sure it will not stop there. The most important point is that now China officially considers us an enemy. That is a serious problem.

An even more serious problem is an administration making things much worse. The U.S. responded to the military exercises by China by cancelling an intercontinental ballistic missile test.

In an effort to ease the tensions, Kirby said the U.S. would postpone intercontinental ballistic missile test scheduled for this week. Kirby said the decision to reschedule the test was intended to demonstrate “the behavior of a responsible nuclear power by reducing the risks of miscalculation and misperception.”

The Biden administration may be proud of this, but history teaches us that appeasement is the path to war. It is foolish to assume that if you reward bad behavior, you get less bad behavior. It is hard to imagine this administration looking even more pathetic, but they just may have surpassed all previous efforts.

Well welcome to beyond pathetic. Nancy Pelosi, say she feels a special connection with China because when she was a child, she was told if she dug deep enough, she would reach China.  Just in case you think I am making this up, that even Nancy Pelosi is not this stupid, here is the quote:

Japan has recently increased its defense capability and the Japanese Defense Minister, Nobuo Kisha said that the missile fired by China, and landed in Japan’s exclusive economic zone, “threatened Japan’s national security and the lives of the Japanese people, which we strongly condemn.” China and Japan are not exactly friends. One should remember that Japan treated the Chinese people horribly during World War II and it is unlikely they have forgotten.

We can only hope that wiser heads prevail, probably in China, because we have run completely out of wiser heads here. Perhaps it is just me, but when someone in the MSM refers to Joe Biden as “The President” my response is: “seriously, you’re buying this?”

There has been some good news this week. The establishment in Arizona tried, and failed, to stop people like Kari Lake from getting elected. Odds are the real difference was so enormous that they did not have enough votes available to steal, not that they didn’t try. It looks like several “pro-Trumpers” are winning primary elections, in spite of enormous funds spent to prevent just that. In some cases, they have won in spite of polls by the usual suspects showing them behind. They have even won in cases where they were behind on election day. Either Republicans have learned how to beat Democrats at their own game, or actual support for these candidates was strong enough to overcome the establishment machine. I strongly suspect the latter.

I don’t think anyone in the MSM, or the establishment is remotely prepared for the tidal wave of support building for the “throw the bums out” movement. Now Democrats have done the dumbest thing possible, voted for another massive spending bill accompanied by tax increases on everyone. They either stupidly think this will work, or just want one more sip from the well of corruption before it collapses completely. Every poll shows that the primary concern for voters is inflation, and no one thinks this has any chance of fixing that. Few people other than the idiots who voted for this, even pretend it will work. Instead, the Democratic Party may literally experience a true nuclear level melt-down. A real-life China Syndrome event.
