RINO Republicans are desperately trying to negotiate surrender before it become too obvious that they are actually on the verge of victory. The Republican establishment is furious that all these young whipper snappers foolishly believe in fighting for their core values. They can’t even imagine politicians who actually say what they mean and mean what they say. In the world of the political establishment, the highest honor is the willingness to compromise. But it is no virtue to compromise with the Captain when he is steering the Ship of State into the rocks. The only ethical thing to do is whatever it takes to make him change course.
Unfortunately, the RINO surrender monkeys appear to be, once again, driving the agenda:
What is most pathetic is that they are very close to total victory. ObamaCare is self-destructing even faster than predicted by the most vocal opponents. Time is on the Republican’s side. The scope of the ObamaCare disaster is increasingly obvious. This will get worse every day. The following article explains this very well:
http://siliconangle.com/blog/2013/10/10/the-obamacare-website-the-biggest-tech-gaggle-ever/
This article is written strictly from a technology perspective, which makes it all the more credible. It doesn’t pull any punches:
This is really playing out as a clinic in how not to launch a major website project, failing in every respect across the board, from planning, to the communications, to testing and everything in between. Can you think of anything in history of the web that was worse?
The Obama administration was warned about this, but they were too arrogant to listen:
Robert Laszewski, a health-care consultant with clients in the insurance industry, said insurers were complaining loudly that the site, www.healthcare.gov, was not working smoothly during frequent teleconferences with officials at the Department of Health and Human Services before the exchange’s launch and afterward. “People were pulling out their hair,” he said.
There is no easy fix.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is about as ugly any kind of site deployment gets. They had three and a half years to get this right, do better and more testing. They have failed miserably and they are handling it miserably.
As bad as this is, it is only stage one of a multi-stage meltdown. Since stage one is a complete failure, it is hard to imagine anything worse. But stage two is worse. I received a phone call today from an individual in California. She had just received an enormous increase in her personal insurance because of ObamaCare. In addition, she learned that she now had 40% deductible. She was almost speechless with rage. I suspect there are a lot more people just like her. People are being confronted with the reality of ObamaCare and they are not happy.
If Republican’s hold on a little longer, it is possible that Democrats will become desperate to avoid the shockwave from the ObamaCare political tsunami. There is going to be more than a little anger here, with most of it directed toward Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi for convincing people to vote for this disaster. They will be absolutely furious when they realize they could have dodged or at least delayed this bullet if only Obama and Reid had accepted the Republican proposal for a one year delay. It was literally the last lifeboat off the ObamaCare Titanic. But instead of jumping at the opportunity, Obama and Reid arrogantly forced Democrats to double down on disaster. Now Republicans just might be sitting on a chance to repeal the whole nine yards.
The good news is that even if the RINO surrender Monkeys have their way and they stupidly extend funding, it won’t really change anything. Although these RINOs are trying desperately to out stupid Democrats, that appears to be an impossible task. There is no way anyone can save ObamaCare from itself. The most they can do is delay the day of reckoning. They may kick the can down the road, one more time, but they are rapidly running out of road.
I wonder if these RINOs realize that the real damage will be to their own political futures. Americans are sick and tired of congress, because there is a lot of stink and steam but zero accomplishment. There is going to be a massive turnover in congress in 2014, but it won’t be what RINOs and the liberal left expect. I strongly believe that the Tea Party Republicans will be rewarded for staying the course, but those Republicans who surrendered to Incompetence, Inc. and will be on their way out of office. Democrats, who own ObamaCare, for better or worse, will be lucky to avoid going down with the ship.
It is simple. If ObamaCare is as bad as it appears, then nothing can possibly save it. The only way Democrats escape this mess is if ObamaCare is at least partially successful. There is zero evidence that ObamaCare is a success on any level.
I think we are nearing a Neville Chamberlain moment for both Democrats and the RINO Republicans who have enabled them. On May 7, 104 Leo Amery, a British Conservative MP could not stand it anymore. He said the following to Chamberlain: “You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately. Depart, I say, and let us be done with you. In the name of God, go!”
Actually Amery was quoting from a speech given by Oliver Cromwell on April 20, 1653 when he realized that a corrupt and arrogant king had been replaced by a corrupt and incompetent parliament.
What is the point of electing Republicans to congress if they surrender at the first sign of conflict? Perhaps it is time for Ted Cruz to brush up on his Cromwell. If you are afraid to fight, “in the name of God, go!”
