We recently started watching “COPS” on Fox Nation. Some of the shows are absolutely hysterical. They obviously do not show the truly violent interactions. In most cases, these are just incredibly dumb people who are frequent offenders. The first question is usually: “who are you?” Another routine question is “when was the last time you were arrested?” It is quite common for the suspects to lie, usually with a story that is absurdly impossible. For example, when drugs are found, they ALWAYS belong to someone else. If found in a pants pocket, then “these aren’t my pants.” It is also not unusual for a suspect to lie about everything, including their name. It is always interesting when someone tries, and fails to hide, and a canine officer is used. The suspects are always warned that the dog will bite them. If they don’t respond, that is exactly what happens. Those dogs are amazing, and it is easy to see why police departments depend on them.

While these shows are mostly humorous, because they choose cases where no one is seriously hurt, the real life equivalent of “who are you?” is far more serious. In addition, the harm these people can cause is incredible. The latest stars are Andrew and Chris Cuomo. These are the same guys who a little over a year ago had a nightly giggle fest on CNN, where they lovingly teased each other on national TV. What great guys! But they weren’t great guys at all. Now, the truth has come out about who these guys really were and what they were like in real life and the giggles are long gone. So has the illusion of popularity. A lot of people Andrew Cuomo thought were friends turned on him once he lost power. The same thing happened to Chris Cuomo and that included some people on CNN who pretended to be his friends.

Alec Baldwin is learning that the more people see him, the less they like him. His celebrity friends are still supporting him, but most people have moved on. In his interview by George Stephanopoulos, he may have incriminated himself while trying to explain why it wasn’t his fault. That is something he has in common with the suspects on COPS. In his case, he said he “pulled back the hammer” but didn’t pull the trigger. Anyone truly familiar with a single action gun knows that pulling back the hammer is what makes that weapon capable of firing. These guns are designed to operate with an exceptionally light trigger pull. If you drop a single action gun, with the hammer pulled back, that alone may cause it to fire. But in addition, if you pull the hammer back, and it does not cock, it may snap back and that may cause a gun to fire. I suspect that the video interview of Alex Baldwin may be played as crucial evidence in his trial.

Kamala Harris is shredding the last elements of her personal support. Not only are people deserting her, at the speed of light, they are kicking her on the way out. This is beyond bad. But this won’t stop with these people. There are other people who are about to be exposed and this is guaranteed to be ugly.

The bigger the lie, the more severe the backlash. The biggest lie, for over four years, was the Russian Collusion Hoax. Not only has that been discredited, but people are at risk of custodial sentences regarding their role in propagating that nonsense. It turns out that a lot more lies were told about Donald Trump than told by Donald Trump.

But the really big lie was that Joe Biden was elected President in the most secure election in American history. Few who actually watched the election returns and were not celebrating the defeat of the evil Trump, missed that. The evidence of fraud was overwhelming, and it was visible to anyone paying attention. The usual suspect places, all in critical swing states, miraculous delivered wonderful late-night votes during the dark of night, all for Joe Biden. This may be difficult to prove, in a court of law, but that does not mean it was not beyond obvious.

The real problem is that these people were responsible for putting someone as obviously incompetent as Joe Biden in the White House as President of the United States. Even worse, under our constitution, there is no easy method to reverse this error in judgment. Even Democrats who admit to actually voting for this clown are increasingly upset at the results. The people who didn’t vote for him are furious. Some are trying to delay the truth, by pretending the real criminal was Donald Trump who dared question the results. That the worse thing ever done by a President of the United States was Donald Trump trying to get congress to back off from this mistake from which recovery may be impossible. “Which is worse, trying to stop this from happening, or letting this happen without regard to the consequences.” If you doubt that, ask the parents of that high school student who shot all those people in Michigan. His parents are likely to be prosecuted but they were not exactly the only ones who should have seen this coming and who could and should have stopped this. Others may not have broken the law, but they certainly appear to deserve a share of the blame.

I believe over the next six months to a year the key question will not be what, but rather who. Who allowed this to happen? Who thought it was a good idea to put someone like Joe Biden in the White House and hand him the keys to the nuclear arsenal? And who bears the most responsibility? Those who willingly ignored the obvious to let this happen or those who at least tried to find some way to stop it.

One of the problems with people who make decisions that are not based on logic is that at some point the circular reasoning becomes impossible to ignore. For years, the woman’s right’s movement was based primarily on the right to get an abortion. In addition, there was major lobbying for universities to spend similar money on Women’s sports as they were spending on men’s sports. Prior to that, universities spent money on men’s sports, like Football and Basketball, because they were huge revenue generators.

The result was that women increasingly had the opportunity to get college scholarships and compete in athletics. Mission accomplished. But then some genius decided that being a woman was not actually dependent on biology. Sex is not determined by the body one is born with, but rather with how one feels about oneself. The results, in some cases, are absurd. In other cases, downright dangerous. There is current a transgender female, who previously competed as a man in men’s swimming events. It should be no surprise to learn that this person is winning races and setting records. More dangerous are situations where men, posing as women, invade women’s locker rooms and restrooms and sexually assault people.

But now we have the abortion debate on full display and the result is that at least some liberal women have returned to arguing that only a biological woman is entitled to have an opinion on things like abortion. Whoopie Goldberg is just one of many:

Oops. Goldberg appears to be saying the standard for identifying a woman is “eggs or the possibility of carrying a fetus.”  That sure seems like a biological standard. This would be more impressive if Whoopie hadn’t been one of the strongest voices for transgender rights:

Earth to liberals. You cannot simultaneously argue that sex is just a state of mind, not impacted by biology, and then use a biological standard to determine who has a right to an opinion. Circular reasoning often results in conclusion that are totally illogical. I call it the other side of midnight.

Oh my. Just when you thought things could not get worse, they got worse. Joe Biden is now publicly flailing, and it is increasingly difficult for anyone to ignore. Yet, no matter who bad this gets, Kamala Harris consistently finds a way to be worse. The sad reality is that the Prospect of President Kamala Harris is the best, perhaps only, possible argument for keeping President Joe Biden.

Jen Psaki has the impossible task of pretending that abject failure is secretly an accomplishment. The closest they come is the “bi-partisan” infrastructure bill, but that ship has sailed, unlike those stacked up in Long Beach Harbor. The result is that it is nearly impossible to find anything that looks like a positive change. On the other hand, the problems are all too evident.

Every time someone fills up their car with gas, they think of Joe Biden. When they pay higher prices at the Supermarket, they think of Joe Biden. When they see their stock portfolio shrink, they think of Joe Biden. When they have to get another booster shot and still have to wear a mask and social distance for the disease he promised to conquer, they think of Joe Biden. Joe is the gift that keeps on giving.

Every time he makes a public appearance, he makes things worse. He constantly struggles to read a TelePrompter. He grimaces and clenches his teeth. He looks around for someone to tell him where to go. He never answers any real questions. When someone asked Vladimir Putin about Joe Biden running for re-election, Putin could not resist laughing. The entire world is laughing. But people here in the United States are not laughing, they are buying “Let’s Go Brandon” tee shirts.

People have noticed. Prominent Democrats have looked at the polls and started plans for retirement. Nancy Pelosi “apparently” bought a $25 million home in Jupiter, Fl. But it doesn’t end with Democratic politicians. It is now impacting their supporters in the MSM. Chris Cuomo is in serious trouble and may be gone permanently. Among the people demanding CNN fire him includes the ladies on the View and the Atlantic. Chris, if you are a liberal news anchor and you lost the Atlantic, you lost the country. Even Brian Stelter, who is seldom right about anything, has trashed Chris Cuomo.

Meanwhile the lies told by Democrats and their supporters in the MSM are on full display. The Russian Collusion hoax has not only been completely discredited, but important people are also at risk of going to jail for committing fraud.  People are waking up to the level of deception by the MSM. It is quite likely that the next pillar to fall will be the myth that there was no evidence of voter fraud during the 2020 election. Democrats have foolishly set up this January 6^th commission, hoping to continue the illusion that Trump and his supporters tried to stage an insurrection. The problem is that the more people learn about this, the more likely evidence showing who was and was not lying about things. Remember that truth is always the best defense. If you think people are angry now, just imagine if it becomes undeniable that the election was a fraud. Now imagine that it is obvious that the MSM knew this, and chose to lie about it, because the only thing that mattered was hating Donald Trump.

Change is coming, more extensive change than you can even imagine and at a speed that will take your breath away. The important lesson about Chris Cuomo is that his protective shield was disappeared. This is not because they really care about what he did. They don’t. They expect that. This is because they no longer consider him to be of value. He is already so “yesterday.” Others will soon join the parade. Other than the Chicago Cubs, few teams famous for losing maintain fan support. Even the Cubs realized change was necessary, because at losing is, well, losing.

People who considered themselves safe find themselves perched high on a cliff best described as “Whethering Heights.”  When the whethering is over, expect spectacular falls.

My office has a large picture window. We have a couple flocks of turkeys who come to visit on a regular basis. They can be very entertaining. My windows are tinted such that I can see out, but people on the outside cannot see me. Neither can the turkeys. As a result, I sometimes see one staring at his or her reflection in the window. Sometimes they seem pleased, other times they want to attack. Perhaps the most entertaining time is when a couple of male turkeys are putting on a show in an attempt to impress the female turkeys. Male turkeys really enjoy strutting their stuff.

Unfortunately, not all of the turkeys we encounter are wild birds. Lately it seems like our entire government is being run by a flock of turkeys displaying behavior remarkably similar to the wild birds.

They tend to flock together, without much thought and with little or no regard to anyone else. They seldom look or act organized. They eat up everything in sight. They leave a lot of debris and particular bird poop behind. They can also be extremely noisy. When threatened they tend to take flight, but usually land just a few feet away from the original location and then continue as before. While often entertaining and fun to watch, the reality is that they do a lot of damage and don’t accomplish much.

While the similarities are obvious, the turkeys in government can be far more destructive, there are far too many of them and this has reached the point where action is required. In the real world, when there are too many wild turkeys, someone usually demands action. The best result for the turkeys is that they are captured alive and released elsewhere, far way. Sometimes, in extreme cases, hunting permits are handled out through a lottery system allowing fortunate winners to obtain a less expensive source of meat for Thanksgiving. Neither of these options are available regarding the human turkeys in government. They must either muck things up so much that they are recalled or impeached, or people must wait for the next election.

Those who watched the 2020 election with any objectivity have difficulty being overly optimistic. But there are signs that things will be vastly different in 2022. One is that even in Virginia, with a long history of Democrats winning elections without regard to the popularity or quality of the Democratic candidate, FOB Terry McAuliffe lost, and he lost big. Another is that a lot of Democrats are deciding now is a wonderful time to choose retirement. Nancy Pelosi has allegedly bought a $25 million mansion on Jupiter Island Florida, where she can a retirement with lower taxes, less crime and without those annoying COVID 19 restrictions that don’t work. All of this funded by San Francisco residents putting up with the stench of the “turkey poop” she left in her wake.

So, this Thanksgiving, I give thanks to the turkeys. Some of them have made the ultimate sacrifice so that our Thanksgiving dinner can be special. Others provide welcome displays of entertainment. But best of all, the most dangerous and annoying turkeys pretending to serve in government are flocking together toward on a unified mission to attain the political version of the Darwin Awards. It is the ultimate Turkey Trot. Give thanks.

We do not know the full motive behind the horrific situation in Waukesha. But the following article explains why the MSM’S deliberate misrepresentation of the Kyle Rittenhouse case, and others, combined with the irresponsible comment(s) by Democratic politicians is so extremely dangerous.

This guy, Black Lives Matter activist Vaun L. Mayes: “ suggested that the Waukesha, Wisconsin incident, that killed five people Sunday evening, may have been a reaction to the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict.”

Then he says: “But it sounds possible that the revolution has started in Wisconsin. It started with this Christmas parade.”

This is hardly a surprise. What, exactly, did the MSM and the leaders in the DNC expect when they constantly play the race card and are telling people every day that there is a real crisis with systemic racism in this country. Some people, failing to realize this is pure politics, believe them. Some of them, fortunately a small minority, are likely to respond in the most irresponsible way possible.

There was nothing racist about the Kyle Rittenhouse story. The vast majority of police shootings involve multiple factors yet if the police shoot a black man, the MSM automatically screams systemic racism with little if any consideration to the actual facts. One notes that if police shoot a white man, the MSM doesn’t even bother to report on that. The DNC and their supporters in the MSM have been engaged in a vast conspiracy to make people believe this is an irredeemably racist country and the only solution is to elect left-wing liberal democrats, ignore violence by groups they support like BLM, and defund the police.

I personally doubt that this guy was a BLM activist or part of any organized plot. He just seems like a seriously disturbed and dangerous person who should not have been released from custody. But if this narrative continues, they eventually will be right. That will obviously benefit no one, but it will do great harm, particularly to the minority communities they pretend to embrace.

Joe Biden has been having a not so good, very bad, awful, month (year). The Democratic Party has been cratering along with him. Last night, as I watched those horrible pictures from Waukesha, I immediately knew something was wrong, very wrong. It was clear that they knew who did this but were not giving any details. It took me about six minutes to figure out why. I listened to a broadcast of the original police report and the officers were all screaming about a black male driving a red Ford Escape. They apparently found his ID in the vehicle when they found it.

The suspect’s name is Darrell Edward Brooks. He lives in Milwaukee and traveled to Waukesha to do this. Since I lived in Wisconsin let me add a couple details. Milwaukee is very liberal, and the black population is about 38.8%. Waukesha is very conservative place with the black population of around 2%. Waukesha is the kind of place one chooses to distance oneself from Milwaukee.

CBS immediately tried to excuse his inexcusable behavior by saying he may have been involved in a knife fight. Some speculated it was the police’s fault because he was fleeing a police chase and just chose the wrong route. He has been a busy man. He apparently has two open criminal cases against him, for two felonies and two misdemeanors. He was considered indigent, so was provided a public defender. He was charged with Bail Jumping Felony, 2^nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Domestic Abuse Assessments, Disorderly Conduct, and Battery. He posted cash bail of $1,000 on November 19, 2021, and was free to do.  He appears to have a very long criminal record.

His twitter account, MathBol Fly includes a video of him making an anti-Trump rap saying “F…Donald Trump, F…Pigs and saying was an AK47 like Malcom X.

His twitter account has lots of this stuff. But you are unlikely to hear about any of this from the MSM. You certainly won’t hear about this from Joe Biden or the White House. You also won’t hear much from Milwaukee County DA John Chisolm who was bragging about “not keeping individuals held unnecessary on cash bail in the Milwaukee County jail.”

There will be no rush to judgment on Mr. Brooks. Instead, news anchors in the MSM will warn us not to get out over our skiis. We must wait for all the facts, before judging him. These, of course, will be the same news anchors in the MSM who demanded a rush to judgment regarding that famous white supremacist (not), who crossed state lines with an illegal AR 15 (not), to go to Kenosha and kill heroic black men just trying to peacefully protest shooting an unarmed man (not), who was shot only because he was black (not). But the facts were irrelevant then, because Kyle Rittenhouse is white and that made him a white supremacist and made this incident involving all white people, all about systemic racism. By the way, I do blame the adults on the scene to let a 17 year old like Kyle Rittenhouse run around with an AR 15. That was a recipe for disaster with the most like outcome Rittenhouse being the victim of violence.

When Fox News reports some, but not all of this, the MSM will pounce and accuse them of, once again, supporting white supremacy. The MSM will also be desperately searching for Susan, or should I say “some” explanation other than the obvious. This guy just may have been triggered by all the news coverage slamming those racist white jurors for acquitting Kyle Rittenhouse. Who could blame him, when even the President of the United States expressed outrage? When the White House press secretary warning about armed vigilantes protecting property ignoring the obvious that such “vigilantes” wouldn’t be there if the police and National Guard were available. And, by the way, it is extremely rare for one of these “armed vigilantes” to shoot anyone, because most rational people avoid getting into conflicts with people carrying an AR 15, which is kind of the reason they have them.

The problem for Democrats, Joe Biden, and the MSM is that this case is too horrific, the truth is coming out, and it is another nail in their rapidly sinking community coffin. It is Democrats, Joe Biden and the MSM that has been sowing the seeds of discontent and they, along with those innocent people in Waukesha, are reaping the Whirl Wind. A lot of people figured that out, before this horrific event. These are the times that try men’s souls, and also energize them to fight back.

We can all breathe a little easier today because Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all counts. This verdict means that Kyle Rittenhouse is a free man. He cannot be charged again. The jury deliberated for about 30 hours. That is actually a good thing, in retrospect, because it reduces the “rush to judgment” criticisms. I would not expect much violence in Kenosha this weekend for a couple of reasons. One being that the National Guard is on standby and more importantly, the weather is a factor. It will get up to around 50 tomorrow and Sunday, but when the sun goes down the temperature drops rapidly. Rioters definitely prefer warmer weather.

The MSM absolutely embarrassed itself by deliberately misrepresenting the facts in this case. Kyle Rittenhouse is white, all of the people he encountered were white, and he has no known connection to white supremacists. The MSM was not only wrong about this, but they were also absurdly wrong.

There are already attorneys lining up to represent Kyle Rittenhouse regarding some very serious lawsuits. This will be similar to what happened to Nicholas Sandmann. Sandmann sued the MSM for defamation and appears to have collected millions. That pales in comparison to the damage done to Kyle Rittenhouse. A lot of people would be wise to start lawyering up, but that horse has already left the barn.

This is also a devastating blow to a justice system that appears to be motivated more by political considerations rather than facts. The prosecutor was desperate to gain a conviction and lacking the facts he resorted to the ridiculous and including what appears to be deliberate misrepresentation of material facts. I honestly believe if he had been convicted, it would have overturned on appeal, if not overturned immediately by the judge.

The real problem is that people we should be able to trust have proven themselves completely untrustworthy. That includes people in the MSM including MSNBC, NBC, and CNN. Even if you were one of those people who wanted Kyle Rittenhouse to be prosecuted, you have to be concerned over how much they got wrong.

That includes the establishment in the Democratic Party. The ridiculous assertion by Joe Biden and people like the Attorney General of the United States, Merrick Garland, that white supremacists are the greatest threat to us, other than global climate change, evaporated with that not guilty verdict. The jury, who listened to the facts was obviously not impressed. People are figuring this out regarding almost every democratic talking points. That includes climate change, criminal justice reform, tax and spend, woke politics, critical race theory, reparations, mask mandates, vaccine mandates and even racist bridges. Credibility, once lost, is extremely difficult to get it back. This was a slap in the face to the MSM and to the entire Democratic agenda. We should not overlook that.

Similar things are playing out all over the country and the world. Austria tried to lock down everyone who is unvaccinated, forgetting that at least some of those people were police officers. The  police are not only unwilling to enforce this nonsense, but they are also joining the protests.

Someone leaked that memo from the Attorney General regarding targeting parents. Clearly there are a lot of people in the DOJ and the FBI who are fighting back against the obvious politicization of justice. There are numerous leaks from White House staffers regarding Kamala Harris. “Let’s Go Brandon” is going viral. People are showing up in droves at college and professional football games. They are crammed together, not wearing masks yet there have been no reports of super spreader events. It is impossible to ignore the obvious hypocrisy demonstrated by high ranking Democrats who wear ludicrous masks whenever they see a camera only to get caught frolicking in social events with no masks in sight.

The silent majority is very real and is silent no more. Those who ignore the reality of this do so at their own peril. In the meantime, as I predicted previously, Kyle Rittenhouse may just become a legend. He was surprisingly articulate when cross examined. He is about to be rich, very rich. He has just been given a voice that may soon become very loud. They tried and failed to destroy him. Don’t be surprised if he is a major factor in a nationwide movement to destroy them.

This may happen sooner than you can imagine. CNN is already talking about shredding staff and returning to a legitimate news organization. The only way that can happen is if noticeably big and prominent names are axed. They used a myth, to attack a man. That failed and the result may be a legend that will haunt them for a long time.

It should be obvious that if one intends to obtain power by any means necessary, one should be prepared to manage such power if successful. Few people not relying totally on misinformation by MSM outlets regarding the 2020 election believe that this election was even close to fair and square. While some conspiracy theories were admittedly absurd, there are far too many legitimate questions that demand investigation. Regardless of how that election was conducted, Democrats succeeded, whether fairly or not, to control of the House, control of the Senate, and the Presidency. What could possibly go wrong? We now know. The House is a mess because the squad foolishly believes the insane promises made by Pelosi to remain speaker. The Senate is a mess because Manchin, Sinema and others are not on board with the insanity. That would be bad enough, but an even bigger problem is the obvious senility and incompetence of Joe Biden. But the most severe problem is that with Kamala Harris as VP, there is no exit strategy available.

After Virginia, Democrats are increasingly terrified that the 2022 midterm elections will be a total wipeout. If that happens, their only consolation will be controlling the Presidency. Oops, that would be relying on Joe Biden. Wise Democrats are probably near hysteria. Normally, when there is a genuine problem with the President the solution would be removal from office either by invoking the 25^th Amendment or impeachment. But even that drastic action is not possible because, incredibly, Kamala Harris would be even worse than Joe Biden, much worse. Her approval rating is about 28% and dropping. There are numerous reports that the Biden administration is trying to distance themselves from her. She has responded by claiming this is evidence of sexism and racism. Wow!

Few people, in either party, find this situation remotely acceptable. Democrats probably figure the worst case scenario would be overturning the 2020 election, because that would return Trump to power with a Republican House and a Republican Senate. Yet, despite the obvious problems with Biden, replacing him is also not an option. Plus, his health looks increasing questionable, and he could literally exit this planet prematurely creating President Kamala Harris no matter what anyone wants. Something must be done, and it must be done sooner rather than later. It sure looks like the only possible solution is to replace Kamala Harris with someone actually capable of being President and then finding a way to give Joe a graceful exit. Removing Kamala Harris is one thing, replacing her is another. Both the House and the Senate must affirm the nomination of anyone to be Vice President. In addition, the only person who can nominate someone is, gasp, Joe Biden. Today that would be a perplexing task, even though the House and the Senate are controlled by Democrats, because the margin is so small. Anyone acceptable to “the squad” would not be acceptable to other Democrats. They would have to find someone that could get bi-partisan support. One wonders if such person exists.

But if it is difficult today, it would be impossible after the 2020 midterm elections, assuming Republicans retake the House and the Senate. In other words, Democrats in their lust to achieve power have put themselves in double jeopardy with no pain free exit.

One of the problems with politically motivated prosecutions is that they often get their facts wrong, really wrong. One example of that is the out of control prosecution of people who participated in the January 6^th Capital protests. With the loud urging of people like Nancy Pelosi and Liz Cheney the DOJ went on an all-out assault on participants in an attempt to convict those participating of attempting insurrection. But anyone who actually watched this and also watched any portion of the hours and hours of video knows that this wasn’t even close to an insurrection. It wasn’t even very violent, compared to the BLM and Antifa riots that took place in the summer of 2020. One Capital police officer died shortly after the incident and that appears to have been mostly from natural causes. No firearms were confiscated, and it appears that the deadliest weapon used by protestors was bear spray. So far, I have not seen evidence that anyone has even been charged with insurrection. Some suspects were charged, appropriately, with illegal trespass and destruction of property. Some alleged “offenders” were caught because they posed for “photo-ops” in the Capital. Real criminals don’t do that. Remember all those “photo-ops” of people connected with BLM and Antifa who rioted all over the country, attacking police and starting fires? No? That is because these people often wore hoods to disguise themselves. There was one notable exception, the guy who filmed himself during the Capital riots. But he is a known associate of Antifa, so the DOJ showed extraordinarily little interest in him.

I would not be surprised to see many, if not most, cases dismissed. There have already been suspects intimidated into pleading guilty to less serious charges to avoid continued prosecution and unaffordable legal expense. If any of these cases go to trial, an acquittal is quite possible. Even more possible will be the absolute destruction of the “insurrection myth.” Trials are dangerous things for prosecutors who act more on feelings than facts. If you want an example of that, look at the Zimmerman trial regarding the death of Trayvon Martin. He was quickly acquitted. Of course, the liberal left ignored that and there are still people marching around with Trayvon Martin signs pretending he is a martyr. They get away with this because the MSM willingly ignores the facts and never challenges this.

This is the same MSM willing to swallow the absurd claim that this was the worst insurrection since the Civil War. The same media that still pretends the big lie was Donald Trump pointing out the obvious about the 2020 election. They are even less likely to report objectively on this than they are to set the record straight regarding the Russian Collusion myth.

This background is essential to put the Kyle Rittenhouse trial into perspective. The MSM has tried to avoid covering this story, but he is now on trial, it is being televised, and it is riveting TV. This is truly a sad story, and one questions who thought it was a good idea to use a 17 year old teenager, who didn’t even have a drivers license, out there armed with an AR 15. That being said, he clearly shot the gun in self-defense because he thought he was being attacked. Even the prosecution’s witnesses proved that. The prosecutors know this, which is why they tried desperately to impeach Kyle because of things like him realizing there was a curfew in effect. They even tried to bring up the fact that he had been silent since being accused. The judge tore into the prosecutor and pointed out, correctly, that this was both unethical and illegal. It is always naïve to predict what any jury will decide, but I would rather be the defense attorneys than the prosecution attorneys.

Now the prosecutors are asking the judge to allow the jury to consider “lesser” charges. The obvious reason for that is the prosecutors realize they have failed to prove the more serious charges.

Even if the Jury were to convict Rittenhouse there would be a good chance of him getting a new trial on appeal. It was remarkable to watch the judge berate the prosecutors for doing things the judge described as clearly inappropriate. A wise prosecutor would have cut a plea deal and would never have tried this case. But that was not an option because there was tremendous political pressure to convict Rittenhouse of murder. Politics, not the law and certainly not the facts is driving this. Even now senior Democrats are declaring that Rittenhouse is obviously guilty. Reporters in the MSM have made irresponsible comments regarding this case. During the 2020 campaign, then candidate Joe Biden called Rittenhouse a White Supremacist, which is patently absurd. For one thing, everyone involved was white, so it is hard to conclude this was racially motivated.

One note that there is no pressure to convict anyone connected with BLM or Antifa for anything. This is extremely dangerous because one of the most important aspects of our judicial system is to not make decisions based on politics, ever. Reflect on John Adams defending the British soldiers charged regarding the Boston Massacre. Regardless of any other factors, Kyle Rittenhouse deserves to be judged solely on the facts and the law and nothing else.

This is extremely dangerous for the liberal left. If Rittenhouse is acquitted, expect him to file a malicious prosecution claim for millions. This could easily make him a very wealthy young man. It could also propel him to a political career. I have watched a lot of trials and a lot of witness testimony, and his performance was stunning. Do not underestimate this young man. He is a young man, the accusations against him have already been exposed as a myth and politicizing this inappropriately may just turn him into a legend.
