It is clear with the addition of Attorney General William Barr; William Barr has weaponized the DOJ. Only, unlike Obama and Clinton, he is not doing it for political purposes with zero regard to actual evidence. Instead, he is doing it because there is too much evidence of serious crimes to ignore.

Barr has also sent Democrats in congress a strong message. The days of this administration cooperating with an endless witch-hunt are over. With the decision today to invoke executive privilege there is zero chance that Democrats have enough time to even consider impeaching Donald Trump. It will take months, if not years, to just get past the executive privilege hurdle.

Then, to make things worse, there was an absolute bombshell story ignored by the MSM. It was not ignored by the Hill:

Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec made a written account of her meeting with Christopher Steele on October 11, 2016. It included the following line:

Steele’s client “is keen to see this information come to light prior to November 8,”

Steele’s client is Hillary Clinton. Also in attendance at that meeting was Tatyana Duran who was a colleague from Steele’s Orbis Security Firm. The documents were never provided to the House Intelligence Committee. These documents were only exposed because of FOIA litigation filed by Citizens United. What makes this worse is that the document was still heavily redacted. That means the rest of the information is likely to be even more devastating.

This is smoking gun evidence that the Clinton campaign was colluding with Russia to influence the election. The name Tatyana Duran may provide some hints regarding the source of this information, since discredited. What makes this even more astonishing is that this meeting was done by a State Department Employee. This is evidence that at least some people in the Obama administration were fully aware of this. This is getting closer and closer to the Obama Oval office.

Democrats are also underestimating a significant difference in firepower. During the Battle of Gettysburg there was an important engagement between the Union Calvary and the Confederate Army. Although greatly outnumbered, the Union Calvary prevailed. One of the reasons for that was that at least some of the Union Calvary soldiers had Spencer repeating rifles. This was the world’s first military rifle that used metallic cartridges capable of loading several shots in a hurry. It was actually quite simple. A Spencer repeating rifle could fire 20 rounds per minute. A muzzle loading rifle could fire 2 to 3 rounds per minute, assuming a very skilled operator. Confederate soldiers were quoted as saying the Union soldiers could load on Sunday and fire all week.

The point is that at least part of the reason the confederates lost at Gettysburg is that they were unprepared for the fire power of the Spencer rifles. This is easy to understand. 100 guys who can fire 2000 rounds a minute can create serious problems even when seriously outnumbered.

Democrats have totally underestimated the firepower of a motivated DOJ led by a no-nonsense commander, loaded with ammunition, who is extremely unlikely to be distracted. If they are not terrified it is because they are either hopelessly stupid or simply not paying attention.

Jerry Nadler flat out embarrassed himself. He not only did not intimidate Barr into surrender, he blundered into a war he cannot possibly win. History is not kind to people who promise everything and deliver nothing.

One of the reasons Democrats are shrieking at Attorney General Barr is that he is on to them and they know it. During his testimony he announced that the FBI is investigating things that were ignored or suppressed while Jeff Sessions was Attorney General. This investigation is not being directed by the anti-Trump society. It is being investigated by people only interested in facts and evidence and criminal activity. This is how people act when they are more interested in getting a criminal conviction than they are in getting favorable publicity.

We are also getting a better picture of Rod Rosenstein.

As Deputy Assistant Attorney General, with Jess Sessions recused, Rosenstein ran the DOJ and he supervised the Mueller Investigation. Odds are a lot of people assumed, incorrectly, that he was supportive of their activities or at least willing to cover up for them. It is increasingly clear that he was not.

There are some very important things to understand about Rosenstein. He worked in the United States Office of the Independent Counsel under Ken Starr. He was co-counsel in the trial of the three defendants who were convicted of fraud. He also supervised the investigation that did not recommend criminal prosecution for White House Officials who had obtained FBI background reports.

He was appointed to be U.S. Attorney by George W. Bush and latter nominated to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit by George W. Bush. That nomination was blocked by Democratic Senators Barbara Mikulski and Ben Cardin. He, like a lot of other U.S. Attorneys resigned when Trump took office, but Trump not only declined his resignation, he nominated him to be Deputy Attorney General.

Only a fool would assume under these circumstances that he is anti-Republican or anti-Trump. I went back and re-read the appointment of Bob Mueller and the following line reads very differently today than it did in May of 2017.

“My decision is not a finding that crimes have been committed or that any prosecution is warranted. I have made no such determination. What I have determined is that based upon the unique circumstances, the public interest requires me to place this investigation under the authority of a person who “EXERCISES A DEGREE OF INDEPENDENCE FROM THE NORMAL CHAIN OF COMMAND.”

Rosenstein had already written approval of the decision to fire James Comey. He had to know about the extreme bias at the DOJ and the FBI and he certainly knew that Andrew McCabe was on a mission to destroy the President. When he said he is removing the investigation from the normal chain of command, he is talking about Andrew McCabe. It seems possible, if not probable, that Rosenstein was primarily interested in stopping the people in the FBI and DOJ on a mission to destroy Donald Trump. One thing is sure, he did the only thing possible that would stop Democrats in congress on their rush to impeachment.  If nothing else, he bought Trump valuable time.

There is more. While Mueller was in charge of the investigation, members of the FBI were briefed on a regular basis. The conservative treehouse has done excellent research on this. While I do not always agree with the conclusions of “Sundance” he always provides actual copies of documents which are very informative.

A couple of things are clear. One is that Comey was writing in his own journal to justify things that were at best questionable. My assumption is that if no justification was necessary, he wouldn’t have bothered. This is pretty strong evidence that Comey knew he was on thin legal grounds here. Instead of exonerating Comey it is actually strong evidence of intent.

We also know there were leaks from the Special Counsel investigation and while not always accurate they were always damaging to Trump. The area where I disagree with the author is his assumption that everyone was part of the same plot. I suspect at least some people were instead working to preserve evidence to ultimately facilitate removing obviously corrupt people still entrenched in the FBI and the DOJ. There are always at least some honest people who are appalled by those who ignore the law.

The most important step in cleaning up the swamp is enemy identification. It is quite possible that both Christopher Wray and Rod Rosenstein set up the ultimate sting operation to do exactly what. What better way to expose these people than to let them think their activities were in total secrecy, never exposed to day light. Better yet, let them document it themselves under the false assumption that the leaders of the DOJ and the FBI had their back. Whether intended or not, ALL of their actions are now documented and there is a new Attorney General who is conducting a very real investigation. Thanks to the excellent documentation, he has a lot of facts.Instead of a trail of bread crumbs leading to impeachment, there is a trail of real documents leading to criminal indictments.

Time will tell, but as always facts are stubborn things. No matter what you hear or read in the news, both by the MSM and Fox News, opinions are irrelevant, but facts are not. More and more facts are starting to surface. None of them even hint at a problem for Donald Trump. A lot of them should cause people like Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Andrew McCabe and others to start doing research on federal prison alternatives, like the country club where Michael Cohen is currently residing. Even more important, others are realizing that it is make a deal time and he who cooperates last pays the highest price. A lot of arrogant self-righteous people in both the FBI and the DOJ are likely to find careers at the FBI and the DOJ ending in similar fashion to Andrew McCabe. Thanks, but no thanks and forget about that lovely pension. Those will be the lucky ones.

Democrats have made a huge mistake from which they cannot recover. The attack on William Barr will not only fail, it has exposed the Democratic leadership as a clear and present danger to our very survival as a country. He is not the only one who understands this. Rod Rosenstein said it in his resignation letter:

“We enforce the law without fear or favor because credible evidence is not partisan, and truth is not determined by opinion polls. We ignore fleeting distractions and focus our attention on the things that matter because a republic that endures is not governed by the news cycle.”

This is the reason Rosenstein stayed on in the DOJ long enough to support William Barr in his response to the Mueller report. The letter from the White House to the DOJ is a stunning rebuke of the Mueller investigation.

No one at the DOJ pushed aback against this analysis. They didn’t even acknowledge receiving the letter, but they certainly read it. If they disagreed with these conclusions, we would already know that. This means that they agreed with the legal points made by Emmitt Flood.

The Kavanaugh hearings were a public display of the willingness of Democrats on that committee to destroy an innocent man, without regard to the facts in their shameless lust for power. That is why Lindsey Graham, who used to at least try and work with Democrats, changed overnight. Now Graham considers Democrats to be a threat to this nation’s survival and he will never trust them again.

William Barr, the top law enforcement official in the country, has been confronted with the reality that the leadership in the Democratic Party has zero concern with regard to the truth, due process, and the rule of law or the constitution. Rod Rosenstein obviously agrees. This will inform his decisions in the near future. He will not, unlike the Democrats, make things up and launch investigations in desperate search of a crime. But he will also not ignore the overwhelming evidence that already exists.

We can be sure that someone like William Barr has already put together his team. It is a team of professionals who are on a mission to document crimes and to issue criminal indictments that result in convictions. It is quite likely that Christopher Wray has also been getting rid of the offenders and has staffed up with capable and honorable professionals.

The result will be something we have not seen in a long time, perhaps not in our lifetime. Pursuit of criminals, by determined and capable people who will not allow themselves to be distracted by partisan politics or the news cycle. They will not allow themselves to let anger cloud their judgement. That makes them incredibly dangerous. If even part of the things we suspect, based on documents already released, are true this is headed toward criminal indictments and convictions on a level seldom seen before. No one, and I do mean no one, will get a free pass on this.

When, and I do think this is now simply a when, some of these people are arrested, the Democratic Party and the MSM will be shocked by the loud cheering. There are a lot of people waiting and praying for this day. The Day of Judgment is closer than you think and severity of the judgment will be more than you can imagine.

This time, there are too many people who are fully aware of the clear and present danger to the survival of this country and they cannot and will not be deterred. Some of you may be shocked at the desperate attempt by Democrats to destroy this president and seize power. You may be stunned at the lengths to which Democrats are clearly willing to go to achieve their goal. But what you may not realize is that there are a growing number of other people, who also realize what is happening and are even more determined to stop them. These will not be people you see on TV or making public appearances. These are people for whom actions are far more important than words and for whom truth is a reality not influenced by personal animus. You will hear from them soon. We will all hear from them soon.

If you watched William Barr testify today, you observed the perfect example of people operating in parallel universes. Republicans focused on the facts as did Barr. Democrats focused primarily on destroying Barr’s credibility. They know that if they do not destroy Barr, the Mueller investigation is over.

The reality is that Democrats are preaching to a shrinking liberal choir joined by people like Judge Napolitano who has become a joke as a legal analyst for Fox News. Here is a classic example of this. During the congressional hearing in April, Charlie Crist, D-Fla asked Barr whether he knew what prompted media reports that Mueller’s prosecutors were frustrated with his initial summary of the Special Counsel’s findings. Barr said he did not.

We now know that Mueller did have some complaints about the 4 page summary, but that really wasn’t the question. Mueller is famous for not talking to the press. The question is whether Barr knew what prompted media reports. Barr said, correctly, that he didn’t know the source of the media reports.  They didn’t ask him if Mueller had expressed any concerns. He reminded people that Mueller did not say that Barr was wrong in his analysis, he just didn’t like the way it was handled. Then he reminded people that he is the Attorney General and Robert Mueller reports to him. Democrats do not like that, but it is a fact. It is about time an Attorney General acted like an Attorney General.

The bottom line is that Democrats never laid a glove on Barr, although the media will pretend the opposite. The Mueller report is over. Barr responded to Richard Blumenthal D-CT with the following:

“We have to stop using the criminal justice process as a political weapon,”

Before long it will be Democrats who will be squirming to answer difficult questions. The difference will be that Barr has actual evidence of crimes and he won’t try and prosecute people in the media, he will indict them in criminal courts. We are about to see the biggest back lash in American history.

It was amazing to see so many lightweight performances by Democrats on the Judicial Committee. None of them are in the same class as William Barr and it showed. Many of them resorted to snarky showboating. Those who tried to get in a legal spar with William Barr were publicly shredded. Of course most of them are too incompetent to realize they are incompetent.

The media will pretend that Barr is in trouble. He is not. But he is also with being distracted by this. He is a serious man, asking serious questions. Those who underestimate this man do so at their peril.

Not one single Democrat on that committee showed appropriate respect for William Barr or his position as Attorney General. This is a sad day in America. Democrats respect for the rule of law and the constitution has degenerated below the point of no return. If further proof was ever required, this is a reminder of why the modern Democratic Party can never be trusted with political power. Frankly any Democrat watching this shameless display should be dismayed and embarrassed. There was a time when at least some high level Democrats were occasionally able to put the country above partisan politics. Those days are long gone. Now they are too blinded by hatred of Donald Trump to see anything else.

Rosenstein wrote that there were credible allegations of employee misconduct at the DOJ and the FBI. He is describing an obvious attempt at an illegal coup of a duly elected President. Yet not one Democrat seems have any concern about the significance of that, they are too disappointed that it failed.

Rod Rosenstein resigned. His resignation letter is beyond stunning. He starts by saying the DOJ made rapid progress in achieving the Trump Administration’s law enforcement priorities. He said as a result our nation is safer, our elections more secure and our citizens more informed. Then he said the DOJ “pursued illegal leaks, investigated credible allegations of employee misconduct and accommodated congressional oversight without compromising law enforcement interests.”

He thanked Trump for his courtesy and humor in personal conversations and for the goals of patriotism, unity, safety, education and prosperity because: “a nation exists to serve its citizens.”

He warns that the DOJ has a special responsibility to avoid partisanship. That while political considerations may influence policy choices, neutral principles must drive decisions about individual cases.

He ends with saying: “We enforce the law without fear or favor because credible evidence is not partisan, and truth is not determined by opinion polls. We ignore fleeting distractions and focus our attention on the things that matter because a republic that endures is not governed by the news cycle.”

This is stunning rebuke of Democrats in congress and the main stream media. There is not only no hint of obstruction by the Trump Administration, it is the exact opposite. It is the strongest possible personal endorsement of the leadership of President Trump. Trump himself could not have written a better letter.

This should terrify a lot of people When Rosenstein said the DOJ pursued illegal leaks and investigated credible allegations of employee misconduct that probably means criminal indictments are on the way. When he said the DOJ ignored fleeting distractions and focused on things that matter because a republic that endures is not governed by the news cycle that was a public rebuke to those who pursued the false narrative of collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign.

It also confirms something that should be obvious. The private Donald Trump is a very serious person well respected by those who report to him. So while the public Donald Trump took some shots at Rod Rosenstein, as part of Trump’s push back against what he considered to be a partisan witch hunt, in private he and Rosenstein got along very well. Rosenstein respects Donald Trump. When he thanks President Trump for changing priorities back to what they should have been, he is saying that the Obama Administration had the wrong priorities. It is also a stern warning to the anti-Trump crowd that the DOJ is on to them and this is not going to be tolerated anymore. Rosenstein is warning us all that this is not about playing politics or protecting Donald Trump; it is far bigger than that. It is about whether or not this nation can even survive.

The main stream media should pay close attention to this. So should the few remaining leaders in the Democratic Party capable of rational thought. This has nothing to do with whether or not you like Donald Trump. It is about whether or not this country has the moral courage to return to our true values. Values that must transcend partisan politics! It is a warning that failure to return to these values threatens all of us. It is a reminder that no matter how loud Democrats and the main stream media screams in outrage, the true values of this country are better represented by Donald Trump than those who oppose him.

Donald Trump must be celebrating tonight. He dare not ask for a better opponent during the 2020 election that Joseph “Hands” Biden. Odds are this will totally suck the oxygen out of the room for anyone not named Sanders and Biden. In many ways this is remarkably similar to the 2016 election where Hillary Clinton also sucked all the oxygen out of the room. The result was that Democrats chose a horrible candidate who managed to lose to someone they considered to be the worst possible Republican candidate. Democrats, who never seem to learn, are about to repeat the mistake.

Biden has run for President on several occasions and failed miserably. Technically this is his third real attempt. The first time was in 1988. You probably don’t remember this because few people noticed in 1988 either. Then he ran again in 2008 only to withdrawn almost immediately. He never got any significant percentage of the vote. His opponents were Hillary “Loser” Clinton and Barack Obama who had zero executive experience. Neither paid any attention to him as a candidate and Obama chose him as VP because he knew Biden would never come close to escaping his shadow.

There are numerous reports that Obama talked Biden out of running in 2016, probably because he foolishly though Hillary would be a better candidate. He pointedly has not endorsed Biden, or anyone else, this time.

With this field, odds are pretty high that Biden and Sanders will each both draw about 15% of the primary vote, not enough to win outright, but more than enough to leave the rest of the candidates in the dust. This could easily result in either of them winning the nomination while simultaneously turning off at least 40% of the Democratic base. The only other option is for Biden to move even farther left than Sanders, if that is even possible. That would turn off everyone else. This is clearly the worst case for Democrats, unless Hillary decides to run again. It is hard to suppress the giggle factor even saying that, but this is 2020 and it is your new and great Democratic Party.

Remember when John McCain won the Republican nomination in 2008? Remember that sick feeling in your gut when you realized that Republicans had chosen the candidate most likely to lose? Barack Obama was a terrible candidate and ten minutes of opposition research would have destroyed him. Yet, the only reason this was even close was that McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate. He went to his grave thinking that was his worst mistake. He wanted Joe Lieberman. If McCain had run with Lieberman they just might have lost all 50 states. I think Democrats are likely to be equally thrilled with their selection in 2020.

While the MSM considers Biden a strong candidate they are missing the part where people prefer someone with a personality. Even a bad personality would be preferable to Biden. In addition, he is just plain creepy. There is a reason he failed miserably in 1988 and even more miserably in 2008. He sucks big time on the campaign trail. In addition they have so much crap on him that the big dilemma is when to start using it.  My hunch is that they are so unimpressed they won’t bother, unless he actually gets the nomination.

In the meantime, if Trump is not thrilled, he is not paying attention.

There was a major decision by the California Supreme Court on Friday April 19^th, 2019 that will change everything. The decision was to issue a stay for the case “The people of the State of California v. David Robert Daleiden and Sandra Susan Merritt. “ This couple was charged with fifteen felony counts by Attorney General Xavier Becerra for anti-eavesdropping and conspiracy. The stay was to grant the defendants the opportunity to have an evidentiary hearing to prove that the charges against them were politically biased. The couple had videotaped Planned ParentHood employees for allegedly arranging to sell body parts from aborted fetuses. The original lawsuit was filed by Kamala Harris who chose to file criminal charges against these whistle blowers rather investigate the real criminals at Planned ParentHood. What makes this case so dangerous is that this is beyond obvious.

On April 1, the Supreme Court refused to consider a lower court decision by a federal judge and, gasp, the 9^th Circuit Court of Appeals regarding this case. At the time, Planned Parenthood thought they had won a great victory. Instead this case is more properly being handled under California law since they are being prosecuted under California law.

All seven California Supreme Court justices will look at this case.

One reason this really matters is that for the first time in a long time it is the prosecutors under scrutiny. This is a truly disgusting case where vile and inhuman criminal allegations that should shock the conscience of everyone against Planned ParentHood were totally ignored while prosecutors punished those who dared reveal the truth. It is like having someone film the Holocaust and have a prosecutor charge them with invading Hitler’s privacy. The very last thing the liberal left needs is full disclosure on what is going on here.

This could also greatly impact the real result of the Mueller investigation. The same question applies there. Why did the Obama administration choose to ignore blatant crimes by Hillary Clinton and direct evidence of collusion with Russia regarding the sale of our uranium and then choose to try and “find” some crime to pin on Donald Trump? The answer, as in the Planned ParentHood case is selective prosecution based on political bias. If the California Supreme Court hears this case and rules that this was selective prosecution, it will stun the political world. Kamala Harris’s rapidly fading Presidential Campaign will come to a sudden and crashing halt.

It will do more than that. It will give full legal voice to the obvious. The real question is not what Mueller found, but rather why he was authorized to investigate a President of the United States with zero evidence in the first place. For years the liberal left has used selective prosecution to punish opponents. That error (era) may be over. Nothing should frighten the liberal left more than a return to common sense and attention to the rule of law and the Constitution of the United States. That is one reason they fought so hard to prevent someone like Justice Kavanaugh being on the Supreme Court. If selective prosecution and bias is removed from our legal system it will deliver a devastating blow to the self-righteous, arrogant liberal left. This could be a bigger deal than you can even imagine.

Rep. John Ratcliffe R-Texas is a former federal prosecutor and one of the few people who has seen the Mueller report, without the redactions,  He has also seen the unredacted testimonies of all the people who started the Russian Investigation. He was U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas and had over 100 federal prosecutors and support staff reporting to him. This is a very serious individual.

This is not someone who casually drops uninformed opinions, particularly about other people. Yet he said that Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell were not being truthful when they said they had evidence of collusion. The Mueller report proved that such evidence did not and does not exist. He also said that Donald Trump was telling the truth when he said that Jim Clapper and John Brennan were accusing him of treason. He said the response to the Mueller report by the liberal left is borderline absurd.

RATCLIFFE: The bottom line is that Bob Mueller, a guy who charged anyone with everything along the way — people were charged with everything short of spitting on the sidewalk — where he could charge, he did charge.

In this case, Bob Mueller didn’t charge because he could not charge. He could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that there was any criminal conduct, whether it was collusion-related or obstruction-related or anything related.

Then Ratcliff dropped a real bombshell, totally unnoticed by the MSM.

I — as you know, Maria, I have had the opportunity to see the underlying documents, to see the FISA applications in unredacted form. As a former federal prosecutor, I had concerns that there may not be probable cause there, and that some of the evidence that would be exculpatory to the Trump campaign wasn’t presented.

Those concerns have not gone away. I would expect that Bill Barr has those same concerns. And I would expect him to take appropriate action. Again, these are questions that Bill Barr can answer, hopefully will answer in two weeks when he’s on Capitol Hill.

When a former U.S. attorney says he had seen the FISA applications, unredacted and they lack probably cause and omitted exculpatory evidence that is a huge problem.

Many people are justifiably frustrated by the response to the Mueller report. These people seem to never learn. They are doubling down in the theatre of the absurd. At times like this it is important to pay more attention to people who are actually qualified to have an opinion. John Ratcliffe is one such person.

Ultimately the opinion of those who are either hopelessly biased or merely incompetent does not and will not matter. The cold hard fact is that Democrats don’t even have the votes to start impeachment hearings in the House. They don’t have close to enough votes in the Senate to convict. That means all of this noise coming from the liberal left is just that, noise. It is designed to distract and annoy. It is also designed to deceive the true KoolAid drinkers into continuing to dream the dream. It is destined to failure.

In the meantime, the really serious people, like William Barr are on it. These are the kind of people who focus on putting people behind bars; not on putting themselves on page one. These are the people who matter and we will soon hear from a lot of them.

The Mueller report ultimately establishes two things for certain. One is that there is and never has been any evidence of the Trump campaign or any other American colluding with Russia during the 2016 presidential election. The only complaint against Trump is that he was outraged at the outrageous. It is increasingly clear that there was a plot to either remove him as President of the United States or at least distract him with an investigation designed to obstruct him from doing his job.

This should be no surprise. The MSM melted down when he was elected. Democrats promised to obstruct him in every way possible.  That is one of the few promises they have kept. They never considered just accepting the results of the election.

They were outraged that someone like Trump was elected President of the United States. They could not accept the obvious fact that he beat Hillary Clinton. They could not believe that most of the country chose him over her. The only explanation for that, in their deluded world, was if someone or something stole the election. That is why they jumped on the Russian collusion theory. Anything was better than the reality that Trump simply won. They will never consider Trump up to the job. They consider him a clown accidentally elected to office. The only person they despise more that Trump is Hillary Clinton, primary because she lost to someone like Trump.

Now, that the Mueller Report has totally destroyed the Russia collusion narrative. The liberal left is left with blaming Trump because he was outraged by the outrageous. Of course he was angry. He should have been angry. We all should be angry. This must never happen again. A President of the United States was distracted from performing his duty solely because of a partisan witch-hunt based on zero evidence. What made this worse was the fawning support of the MSM that trashed Trump 24/7 with fake news stories pretending the legal noose was closing in on his presidency. In reality the only noose was the one they, like Jusse Smollett tied around their own necks to try and distract from their own culpability.

I think they have made a major mistake. Anyone who reads the Mueller Report with an ounce of objectivity knows what happened. They recognize a plot by the people who should have been loyal to the office of President of the United States even if they despised the man holding that office. Instead, they literally bragged about their disloyalty and wore their bias as a red badge of courage. I think Democrats and the MSM are about to be shocked at how well the average American understands this. They may learn that all of us are outraged. We are outraged at those who continually put self-interest above the country. We are outraged that after 240 years we still have a political party that cannot bring itself to accept the outcome of an election. We are outraged at arrogant self-righteous jerks who consider themselves above the law, above the constitution and above the will of the people. These jerks still believe the American people made a huge mistake and we should have trust them, the few, the proud, the elite to save the day.

Only one other President faced this kind of opposition. That was Abraham Lincoln, who was despised by the establishment in both parties. They considered him to be the most unqualified man to ever accidentally become President, but history teaches us he just may have been the best President of all.

Few men would have had the courage, the strength, the wisdom and the raw character to survive this kind of assault on the presidency. There clearly was a conspiracy between Democrats, the DOJ, the FBI, our Intelligence Agencies and their supporters in the MSM. How on earth did Trump or any other president survive something like that? None of them ever considered the possibility that they were the ones who got this wrong. They were oblivious to the fact that they were ones guilty of committing crimes.

Trump, incredibly, weathered the storm. He did not play their game. He did not fire Mueller. He did not even fire Sessions until after the mid-terms. Instead he cooperated with Mueller leaving him with nothing to find other than outrage that Trump was outraged. This may play in Washington DC and the New York times. It will definitely play in the Democratic corridors of congress. I don’t think it will play nearly as well in Peoria or anywhere else. The American people are on to this, they are sick of this and they are increasingly outraged by this.

Now, the President has his own team. He has an Attorney General who actually does have his back and a man clearly capable of doing the job. He is gathering unprecedented support from former RINOs like Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell. Lindsey Graham still has his concerns about Trump, but he no longer has the slightest illusion about Democrats. The Kavanaugh hearings proved to Graham that Democrats will do anything and everything to gain power. Republicans are finally united behind this president. They may not respect him, but they respect the office. The tide has turned and this time there is one major difference. This time the accusations won’t be based on fake stories leaked to the New York Times. There is no need for that. Trump has more than enough well documented facts to supply all the ammunition required. Those who opposed him ending up doing nothing more than pointing the finger at themselves.

I believe that when Trump was elected, he just wanted to be a good president. But, he was never given the chance to do that. While he talked about draining the swamp, he probably didn’t really mean it. He would have been fine if Democrats has just accepted the reality of his election. But, that is one thing they did not and cannot do. As a result, Trump is fully informed that if he does not destroy them, they will not only destroy him they will destroy our democracy. When he says this must never happen again to a U.S. President, BELIEVE HIM! Democrats took their best shot at Trump and they missed by a mile. I believe they just made him stronger and more dangerous. I am reminded of the words of Admiral Yamamoto, after he learned Japan had attacked Pearl Harbor before declaring war.

“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”

Pay close attention to some of the reporting in the MSM. A lot of people have known the truth, but they lacked the courage and strength to swim against the current of corruption in the D.C. swamp. That has now changed and at least some people will actually enjoy taking on the establishment. Once the crack in their armor becomes too obvious, there are always people ready, willing and able to exploit the breech. The day of reckoning is at hand and some of you will be surprised at some of the people who join this crusade.

The world is breathlessly waiting for the Mueller report. Democrats are hoping and praying there is something they can bitch about. The MSM is poised to take action. If there is nothing damaging about Trump, they will claim a cover-up. If there is anything remotely critical of Trump, they will celebrate the crime of the century and ignore everything else. The one thing they will never consider is reporting on this fairly and objectively. That won’t even be considered.

We already know what is in the Mueller report. This is beyond obvious. Mueller is going to explain all the indictments resulting from his investigation. None of those indictments have any connection with the Trump campaign and/or collusion with Russia. There may be some complaints about Trump and his public comments, but by all accounts the White House fully cooperated with this investigation.

If there is anything shocking in this report it is likely to affect Democrats more than Republicans. Rudy Giuliani has already prepared a rebuttal to the report. Since the White House has not asked for a copy of the report, this means someone has at least given Giuliani enough information to prepare a response. Actually, if anyone was paying attention, Barr already told us what is in the report.

Barr said that the Trump campaign was spied on by intelligence agencies. His only question was whether there was justification for this. The fact that he said he didn’t know if there was justification is in and of itself a serious problem. This shouldn’t even be a close call. Barr also said that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia, although they were given several opportunities to do that.

The media is hopelessly naive or willfully oblivious. They still dream that somehow this will boomerang back on Trump. That is likely misplaced hope. While there may be some things that are embarrassing for Trump, keep in mind that he survived paying off a porn star for a one night stand. The threat of embarrassment has been a hugely ineffective weapon against Donald Trump.

There is also the Lori Loughlin syndrome at play. There are reports that Loughlin and Giannulli can’t grasp the concept that what they did was a crime. They view this more as cheating, yes, but a crime, not so much. The most they expected was a fine and a slap on the wrist.

In much the same way the people who plotted to obstruct a presidential campaign and then a President do not think they did anything wrong. They hate Trump so they cannot understand why the actions they took could be considered to be a crime. It is incredible to realize that high ranking officials in the DOJ and the FBI could be so oblivious to the legal consequences of their actions. I am beginning to suspect that Rod Rosenstein shared their contempt of Donald Trump, but he also realized the legal line he could not cross in performing his duties.  The same may be true of Robert Mueller. The result is that a lot of people should be very concerned about what is in that Mueller report tomorrow. The only person who doesn’t need to lose sleep about this is Donald Trump.
