Vladimir Putin said that Russian intelligence did not hack the DNC servers. Everyone in the MSM is assuming that Putin is wrong. They wanted Donald Trump to call Putin a liar. Apparently being rude to Putin is worth risking war with a nuclear power.

Trump said that while he respected our intelligence, Putin flat out denied being involved. The problem for Trump is that Putin has a point, neither the FBI nor any of our intelligence agencies EVER examined the DNC server. The DNC has never provided access to those servers. The only data was obtained from an analysis by CrowdStrike. CrowdStrike was hired by the DNC. It allegedly has strong connections with Hillary Clinton.

On at least on one other occasion, CrowdStrike produced analysis that was patently wrong. On December 22, 2016 CrowdStrike published an article titled: USE OF FANCY BEAR ANDROID MALWARE IN TRACKING OF UKRAINIAN FIELD ARTILLERY UNITS.

At the time, CrowdStrike’s analysis of the DNC server was being challenged by some very capable cyber experts. CrowdStrike issued this report to support its opinion that Russia hacked the DNC servers. Dimitri Alpervotich said that in both hacks, the DNC and the Ukraine, the company found malware used by “Fancy Bear.” A group with ties to Russian intelligence.

CrowdStrike was forced to retract much of that report because it was using data provided by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). IISS confronted CrowdStrike regarding material misrepresentation.

There is no doubt that Russian are hacking us all the time and it would be naïve to think they didn’t continue this during the 2016 election. They do this every election. The difference here is that the liberal left is claiming a vast right-wing conspiracy between Trump and Putin because they didn’t like the results of an election. Hillary, as we all know, is famous for blaming everything on a vast right-wing conspiracy. The result is that both Trump and by association Putin, have been thrown under the bus on a nightly basis. Putin, as well as Trump, is sick of this. Remember that Obama put sanctions on Russia just before the inauguration because of alleged Russian hacking.

Russia did try to influence our elections, by sending in spies to get close to Hillary Clinton. This was documented and then covered up. The FBI captured several spies and literally sent them home before anyone got a chance to interview them.

Even during the 2016 election there was more evidence of the Clinton campaign colluding with Russia than the Trump campaign. It was the Clinton Foundation that was getting millions in donations. It was Bill Clinton who was being paid $500,000 for a speech. It was the Clinton Campaign that got the Russia dossier from Russia and used it during the election. I don’t think Putin is upset that we are accusing him of messing with us, he is insulted that we would accuse him of being so patently stupid. Seriously, does anyone think Putin thought he could change election results by unleashing 12 guys in their underwear? That is why he told Chris Wallace the indictment by the FBI was a joke. It is a joke. If that operation had any connection with Russia it was probably with the Russia version of Peter Strzok.

Everyone is horrified that Trump is not going all in on the estimates of U.S. Intelligence. It is not like our intelligence services have a spotless record. Remember that our intelligence services told George W. Bush that it was a slam dunk that Saddam Hussein had large stockpiles of WMD. They were positive, but they were wrong. Our intelligence communities work very hard, but they are hardly perfect. When you combine that with the problems noted previously and the fact that this investigation was run by, you guessed it; Peter Strzok, it would be a far more serious problem if Trump did take this at face value.

Anything Trump did regarding Putin was destined to be criticized. Incredibly after Hillary famously gave Russia a red rest button the liberal left now thinks it is Trump who is soft on Putin. That is absurd. I suspect that the real conversation between Trump and Putin went something like this. “Mr. Putin, please don’t confuse me with the silly people who pretended to be tough while secretly offering you deals. I don’t work that way. I am here to protect the interest of my country and unlike them I will do whatever it takes to do that. If you mess with me, our response won’t be limited to silly hysterical anchors on CNN. On the other hand, if you want to have a better relationship that is up to you.”

That is the way Donald Trump deals with everyone else.

But the real problem is that the hysteria in the press has the potential for Putin to underestimate Trump. That would seriously jeopardize our national security. Those people currently spouting off publicly about how Putin overwhelmed Trump are either to blinded by politics to notice or too self-serving to care about the real impact on national security. There is zero chance this will result in Trump being impeached or leaving office. Unfortunately, the more likely outcome is a war resulting from Putin or someone else underestimating our resolve. That is why Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, he did not think George H.W. Bush would do anything about it. He was wrong. It is why North Korea invaded South Korea. Stalin did not think that Harry Truman would do anything about it. He also was wrong. In both cases, underestimating a U.S. President resulted in a destructive war. That is far too high a price to pay for irrational and self-serving politicians.

The FBI had a very bad week. The testimony by Peter Strzok was an absolute disaster. Something had to be done. That makes one wonder if the decision by Rod Rosenstein to release the indictments of twelve Russian military intelligence officers today was primarily an attempt to change the subject.

It is significant to note that there is still no evidence of collusion with the Trump campaign. In fact there is no evidence of any American citizen willingly cooperating with Russia.

There is also no evidence of evidence. The FBI was never allowed access to the DCCC, DNC and Clinton Campaign Servers. The only analysis was based on information provided by CrowdStrike, which worked for the DNC. What is most interesting is the next step. No one is going to be arrested. There will be no trial. Mueller will no longer be investigating this at all. This investigation will be handed off to the DOJ National Security Division where, conveniently, it will disappear forever.

This report does not even mention WikiLeaks. The Guccifer 2.0 material was separate from the Clinton E-mails, DNC Leaks, and Podesta emails and was never released by WikiLeaks. DC Leaks also released e-mails from John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Michele Bachmann along with 18 e-mails from the Illinois Republican Party. The MSM would have you believe that these Russians, assuming it even was these Russians, were responsible for the massive amount of e-mails released by WikiLeaks. That may be what happened, but these indictments do not say that.

While there is an assumption that Russia was trying to help elect Trump, it seems more likely they were just trying to mess with the system. I am aware of no documentation confirming motive. The FBI produced no such evidence. Since there will never be a trial, it is unlikely that any evidence will ever be produced. This appears to be primarily based an assumption that since this hurt Hillary, it was designed to help Trump. There are reports that Russians tried, but failed, to hack the RNC servers. This may be more evidence of incompetence by the DNC than motivation by the Kremlin.

Many experts believe that the sheer volume of e-mails published by WikiLeaks could not have been obtained through hacking. They suspect an insider downloaded files on a flash drive. This is one reason the Seth Rich story is so intriguing.

One thing is clear. At best, while CNN was dreaming of Mueller closing in on Donald Trump, he was investigating 12 Russians allegedly sitting in their underwear hacking the DNC because it was such an easy target. The last time Mueller indicted Russians one of the firms unexpectedly showed up and Mueller had to run for the hills because he had zero, squat, zip, nada evidence. It is easy to indict someone if you know they will never show up for a trial.

Even if this was true, the FBI and the DNC knew about the hacking and did nothing. There is no evidence of willing cooperation by any American Citizen and zero contact with the Trump campaign. This can be described as a lot of things, but zeroing in on Donald Trump is not even on the list.

Congressman Louie Gohmert clearly had enough of Peter Strzok. He was just angry enough to tell the truth:

“I watched you in the private testimony you gave. And I told some of the other guys, he is really good. He’s lying, he knows we know he is lying, and he could probably pass a polygraph. You’ve embarrassed yourself and I can’t help but wonder when I see you looking there with a little smirk, how many times did you look so innocent into your wife’s eye and lie to her about Lisa Page.”

Democrats went ballistic. One congress woman even yelled that Gohmert needed his medication. What Gohmert said was rude and insulting. It was badgering a witness. But it was also a spot-on analysis of Mr. Strzok and the response by Mr. Strzok proved that point:

“I assure you, under oath, as I spoke also during my interview a week or two ago, I have always told the truth. The fact that you would accuse me otherwise, the fact that you would question whether or not that was the sort of look I engage in with a family member who I have acknowledged hurting, goes more to discussion about your character and what you stand for and what is going inside of you.”

Liberals and the MSM probably think Strzok won that exchange. Peter Strzok absolutely believes he won that exchange. But the reality is that this was probably the most devastating part of the hearing for him for a couple of reasons.Gohmert had the courage to say what a lot of us were thinking. The other is that this was on live TV and a picture is worth a thousand words. Mr. Strzok cannot get that arrogant smirk off his face. At times he almost looked demonic. I personally though he had a remarkable resemblance to “Chucky.”

The performance by Peter Strzok before the House Judiciary Committee should go viral. This was beyond pathetic. Mr. Strzok did this with an arrogant smirk on his face apparently convinced that he was nailing it. He not only gave answers that are not possibly true, he gave answers that were patently absurd.

Democrats watching this should be embarrassed. Perhaps I missed it, but I did not hear a single Democrat ask a legitimate question. In most cases they didn’t even ask questions, they just launched verbal over the top attacks on Donald Trump totally unrelated to the subject. Apparently hating Donald Trump justifies anything. It was crystal clear who had the facts and who didn’t care about the facts. I could not identify any Democrat in the room capable of acting like an adult.

The only thing certain is that Strzok is a liar. He was either lying to his girlfriend or he is lying now. Odds are he was lying both times. His claim that none of his decisions were influenced by his bias is ridiculous. The real question, at this time, is why did anyone ever trust this man? I wouldn’t trust him to give me the time of day.

Even if I were a Democrat, I would be concerned because his bias has made it impossible for Robert Mueller to credibly charge Donald Trump or the Trump Campaign with anything. No honest judge would allow any evidence tainted by this man to be used. If the goal was to actually hold Trump accountable, Strzok was the worse possible choice.If anything he has done nothing more than provide a “Get Out Of Jail Free Card” with no expiration date. Democrats were too busy slamming Donald Trump and trying to change the subject to notice.

This was so bad it is embarrassing. One would like to think that both Democrats and Republicans will rise above partisan politics when necessary. The House Judiciary Committee should be better than this. This should be a committee that rises above partisan politics. There was no evidence of that today.

This was so bad that even CNN isn’t buying it. I doubt that may people watching this will buy it. Peter Strzok was absolutely shredded by some of the Republicans on that committee. Democrats looked like an umpire with piss poor eyesight. They were too busy spouting their silly hyperbole to realize they were missing a good game.

Up until now, Democrats have loudly cheered on Robert Mueller as the champion of democracy while Republicans have been concerned about the obvious bias and aggressive overreach.  Those roles may soon flip, because it is increasingly clear that Mueller will completely exonerate Donald Trump. He will also destroy the myth of the Trump campaign colluding with Russia. What will make this doubly devastating for the Democratic narrative is that no one, and I do mean no one, can claim that Mueller was engaged in a cover-up. The contrast between how the Clinton e-mail scandal was investigated could not be starker.

The facts are this. Mueller is finally putting Paul Manafort on trial but won’t be delivering ANY evidence of collusion with Russia. Most of the charges involve acts taken before Manafort was working on the Trump Campaign. The ONLY mention of Donald Trump is the undisputed fact that Manafort was Trump’s campaign manager for a short period of time. At best, Trump was guilty of making a bad hire. When he realized that he fired Manafort.

For months liberal commentators on networks like CNN and MSNBC have gushed over Mueller closing in on Donald Trump. They constantly refer to Trump as under investigation. They really thought Mueller would deliver big time. Instead, he will deliver NOTHING.  Even the indictments against those obscure Russia companies are less than nothing. Mueller indicted them with little or no evidence and some of them called his bluff.  This is so bad Mueller hired an entire team of investigators to handle this. The media assumed these guys were hired to ratchet up pressure on Trump. Smarter people realize they were hired to carry on the investigation of these firms AFTER Mueller closes shop.

Baring a bombshell surprise no one knows about, Mueller is going to close his investigation and he isn’t going to charge anyone with collusion with Russia. The only people indicted, other than Manafort, were George Papadopoulos and Michael Flynn. Neither were charged with collision, they were charged with lying to the FBI. None of the Russian firms were charged with colluding with the Trump campaign. Michael Cohen has been charged with anything and it is unlikely he will be charged with collusion either.  Unless Mueller plans to indict someone else he has no evidence of collusion. He has even less evidence of obstruction of justice.

Democrats will be furious, because much was promised, and nothing was delivered. Granted, it was promised by uninformed idiots on CNN, but it was still promised. They were so sure Mueller would deliver the goods they elevated him to superstar status. That will just make his report even more devastating.

A parallel to this is the Chris Davis story. In 2016 the Baltimore Orioles signed Chris Davis to a seven year $161 million deal.

I was shocked last week at the record temperatures allegedly headed toward LA. In full disclosure, I am a Northern California guy and I never thought LA was all that hot. But this was ridiculous. It was supposed to be one of the hottest days ever.

My alarm bells should have been triggered. The global warming alarmist crowd is always praying for record hot temperatures. They use the same ritualistic prayer utilized by the anti-gun crowd desperate for mass murder committed by a T Party member wearing a MAGA hat while using an AR15. These people remind me of someone I knew years ago. The best way to describe her was as someone: “Who isn’t happy unless she is unhappy.” We all know someone like that, but, I digress.

My first clue, ironically, was a planned trip to Las Vegas by my daughter and her family. When I saw a forecast of 108 for Los Angeles, I expected a forecast of about 120 for Las Vegas. But when I checked the forecast for Las Vegas, it was pretty normal. I wondered how it could be this hot in Los Angeles without eventually becoming even hotter in Las Vegas.

It turns out LA really isn’t or at least wasn’t that hot. It was just dumb (or convenient) placement of temperature gauges in places guaranteed to yield very hot results.

There are certain people who are similar to a canary in a coal mine. The miners used to take a canary with them. Canaries don’t handle gas very well, so if there is a buildup of gas, the canary quickly drops over dead. The miners notice this and realize it is time to leave. The modern version of the canary in the coal mine is actually a coalition of Democratic politicians too stupid or blinded by raw admission to notice they are saying something insanely stupid. The latest was by Senator Elizabeth Warren who said any head of the EPA had to believe in global warming. Odds are Senator Warren was vacationing in Los Angeles at the time and stupidly believed the temperatures being reported on KTLA5. Since she is certainly not that hot, she instantly chose to blame global warming.

The China Syndrome was supposedly when an out of control nuclear plant literally tried melting its way through the earth to China. They made a movie about this in 1979 starring Jane Fonda and Jack Lemon. Fonda played a television reporter and her cameraman who discovered a cover-up of serious problems at a nuclear power plant. The theory was that unscrupulous businessmen would willingly let a nuclear power plant melt down to save embarrassment and a few bucks. It was absurd, if for no other reason than no smart businessman would risk the claims. Even in the movie the reactor didn’t melt down, it just came close.  Instead the safeguards designed to prevent this worked.

Today we have a real China Syndrome. It is the response of the Chinese to the Trump tariffs. Democrats, of course, are desperately hoping Donald Trump loses this one. They are more than willing to sacrifice our economy if it helps them regain power. RINO Republicans are also trying to handcuff Trump, because RINO Republicans are incredibly skilled at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Trump is refusing to accept the status quo where China blocks U.S. companies from competing in China while dumping cheap products on us. This should be obvious to anyone, including Democrats. A few years ago, we had an interesting experience regarding an exchange student from China. He desperately wanted to purchase a souvenir to take home, but everything he tried to buy said “Made in China.” He was frustrated and disappointed he couldn’t find anything made in the United States. He was stunned when he found out that American flags were also “Made in China.” It has been that way for a long time. Take the challenge. Try to find a product, even fish caught off the coast of Alaska, that doesn’t say “A Product of China.” I rest my case.

We all know of American manufacturing firms that went out of business because they couldn’t possibly compete with products produced with cheap labor overseas. The result was that our manufacturing base rapidly disappeared, and we were told by the establishment elite that we were now a service-based economy. In other words, we couldn’t compete with countries like China.

Donald Trump has a different opinion. He said much of this problem was caused by negotiating stupid trade deals. He said he was now going to negotiate putting America first and he would bring at least some of those jobs back. That is already starting to happen. He warned other nations that the United States was ready, willing and able to fight back. The results were predictable. Democrats automatically criticize Trump, because they always criticize Trump. He could cure cancer and they would criticize him to not paying enough attention to measles. RINO Republicans would criticize Trump, because they think they are smarter than him and they realize we can’t win this kind of confrontation. They are right about that, if we have a Democratic President or a RINO Republican President. They can’t grasp a simple concept. If you are too scared to fight back, you are guaranteed to get the crap beat out of you.

The main stream media and the never Trumpers RINO Republicans have this bass ackwards. They fail to understand that Trump isn’t trying to lead public opinion on this, he is responding to public opinion. When he says the U.S. has been treated as the World’s piggy bank, he isn’t telling us how to think, he is telling us he understands how we think. His opponents can’t begin to understand this.

When Trump says we have already been in a trade war for years and we are losing, that is merely stating the obvious. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Up until the Trump era, our trade policies were insane.

The media is also oblivious regarding what will happen if there is a real trade war. They assume that the U.S. will, again, cave, and everything will be worse. If a Democrat like Obama or a RINO Republican was President, they would be right. But the reality is that the American people are 100% behind Trump. We are tired of seeing our jobs go overseas. We are tired of other countries taking advantage of us. I predict that if China starts a trade war with us our response will be like our feelings toward Japan after Pearl Harbor. We don’t like people attacking us. It doesn’t scare us, it unites us. China may, once again, learn the cost of rousing a sleeping giant and filling him with a terrible resolve.

Harvard University did a study of the difference between competent and incompetent people. They were surprised to discover that one of the primary attributes of incompetent people is that they do not know they are incompetent. In spite of all the evidence to the contrary, these people really believe they are doing well.

This explains some of the acts on American Idol. You know the ones so bad that Simon Cowell used to ask if this was a joke. It is the person who can’t carry a tune that still believes they are star material. I have run into this in the business world on several occasions.

I now realize that this is the number once characteristic of the liberal left. They don’t realize when they are messing things up. This is why they frequently double down on disaster. The most recent example of this is the idiotic crusade to abolish ICE and go back to the system we had before. Of course they have done no research so they don’t know what was done before and they don’t know what ICE is doing now.

I remember a time when my wife and I sitting down to dinner at a restaurant where the chef cooks the meal in front of you on a grill. Suddenly our chef left his station and disappeared. We sat there for several minutes, when another chef came out from the back room, apologizing profusely. We eventually figured out he was the owner. We finally got him to tell us what happened. INS had showed up and raided his restaurant. Several of his employees were detained and others, like our chef, had just run away. The President of the United States at the time was not Donald J. Trump, it was James E. Carter.

Another time the company I worked for had a rather large staff doing janitorial work at an automobile plant. INS came in and did a raid. Several of our employees, about 60%, were found to have fake IDs. We were ordered by INS to fire them. None of them were deported, they were just unemployed. The President of the United States was not Donald J. Trump, it was William J. Clinton.

We had a landscape gardener that was doing a great job for us. I particularly enjoyed him because he was Vietnamese and he never dreamed that I speak Vietnamese. So he and his son would argue with each other over what to charge me and then give me a price that was about double that amount. It was pretty easy for me to negotiate a good deal. Then one day he didn’t show up. About two weeks later a very apologetic Vietnamese man showed up at our door. He said he was so sorry, but we were going to have to hire a new gardener, because the guy who worked for us had been rounded up by INS and deported. Donald J. Trump wasn’t president then either, that was also William J. Clinton.

There was a group of refugees fleeing a horrible situation. They were literally being slaughtered at home. They were desperate to come to America for a chance at a better life. Incredibly evil politicians resisted helping these refugees. They said we already had too many Hispanics, too many people on welfare, we didn’t want or need these people. Only someone as evil as Donald Trump could be this heartless, right? Except Donald Trump wasn’t President, it was Gerald Ford and he was the one begging states to help these people. California Governor Jerry Brown during his first eight-year attempt to destroy our state, threw a hissy fit trying to prevent Ford from sending Vietnamese refugees to California. He said: “We can’t be looking 5,000 miles away and the same time neglecting people who live here.” Other people calling for the ban were Senator Joe Biden and former presidential candidate George McGovern. You know, the peace and love guy. The same Democrats who refused to help the Vietnamese fight off communist aggression, resulting in the loss of South Vietnam, refused to help refugees fleeing the humanitarian disaster they created.

Remember when Trump said this:

“We are a nation of immigrants, but we are a nation of laws. Our nation is rightly disturbed by the large number of illegal aliens entering our country. Illegal immigrants take jobs from citizens or legal immigrants; they impose burdens on our tax payers. That is why we are doubling the number of border guards, deporting more illegal immigrants than ever before, cracking down on illegal hiring, barring benefits to illegal aliens, and we will do more to speed the deportation of illegal immigrants arrested for crimes. It is wrong and self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws that has occurred in the last few years and we must do more to stop it.”

Oops, Trump didn’t say that, primarily because he would have been guilty of plagiarizing from a State of the Union speech by William J. Clinton in 1995.

Of course all those people out there protesting know none of this. Incompetent people seldom realize they are wrong. This is why several people in Oakland showed up to protest ICE arresting people in their neighborhood. They were proud to stand up for their wonderful loving neighbors against ICE. They failed to notice that the Oakland Police Department was providing traffic control to assist ICE. That would be the same Oakland PD where the Mayor publicly warned illegal aliens of a planned ICE round up and ordered the Oakland PD to stop cooperating with ICE. Perhaps an exception was made in this case because the people being arrested by ICE were allegedly involved in sex trafficking. Duh!

Eventually the truth will become obvious and the ICE SCREAM will quickly melt during our long hot summer. But there will be a price to be paid because these protestors and the liberal democrats egging them on missed something really important. Democrats count on getting 90% of the black vote to get elected. One reason Hillary Clinton lost is because some black voters stayed home. She still got 90%, but of a smaller turnout. Numerous recent polls show that black voters support ICE and strong border control because they think a mass of illegal aliens flooding our border hurts them more than anyone else. They are right about that, by the way. When the ICE SCREAM melts it just may persuade some black voters to consider voting for, gasp, a Republican and it will definitely convince others to just sit this one out. If that happens the melting ICE SCREAM will take the dreams of a blue wave down the drain with it.

I watched him being interviewed by Tucker Carlson and he explained how he came to make this decision. He simply went back and watched the video tapes of what Donald Trump actually said and he was stunned at how badly they had been distorted and misrepresented.

This is a reminder that the MSM often ignores the big story in front of their nose in their lust to say something negative about Donald Trump. Recently the focus has been totally on people allegedly outraged by Trump’s immigration policy. What the media missed is that fact that about 48 million people will be traveling over the 4^th of July weekend. The vast majority of them will celebrate our country and our independence. That is the mass demonstration that actually counts.

This reminds me of my flight to Vietnam for my last combat tour.  I had already served two tours, I knew what to expect, and I was far from enthusiastic. I looked around that plane and I saw a lot of guys just like me. We didn’t want to be there. We didn’t want to do this. We knew the risk that was involved. We knew the sacrifices that would be required.

We also knew that we were being mocked by dugged up hippies who had no clue regarding what was at stake. Then I realized something important. While the media was focused on all those protestors, the most important demonstration was being made by the men who willingly got on that plane. As for those protestors, they couldn’t even spell courage.

If honest liberals really do some research, the truth is easy to find. If more of them find the moral courage to walk away from those filled only with anger, false promises and deceit this will truly be Independence Day.

Amy Coney Barrett is a finalist for the next Supreme Court nominee. If Trump choses her, this will be extremely dangerous for Democrats. She is a devout catholic and is very conservative. If liberals attack her, they will be attacking a very accomplished female attorney. The last time Diane Feinstein tried this she was hammered for attacking Barrett on religious grounds. It is going to be difficult, if not impossible, for liberals to say that a devout catholic is not eligible to be on the Supreme Court. Yet they are terrified of Barrett because she is overtly pro-life.

I believe that if Trump nominates her, she will be confirmed. I also believe that liberals will destroy themselves in a failing attempt to stop her. I still remember when Clarence Thomas was under assault. I was talking with a black attorney and he made an interesting observation. He said he did not like Clarence Thomas at all, but when Thomas pushed back and said the following: “This is a circus. It is a national disgrace. It is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way design to think for themselves and it is a message that unless you knowtow to an old order you will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured by a committee of the U.S. Senate rather than hung from a tree” that was like a punch in the gut. He understood exactly how Thomas felt.

Watch naïve Democrats try to trap Barrett with regard to Stare Decisis. They would be wise to do some research before attempting that, because Barrett actually wrote the book on the subject which was published by the Notre Dame Law review last July.

The bottom line is that Democrats will howl and scream and Amy Coney Barratt will still be confirmed. Democratic senators who cannot resist putting on their traditional grandstanding display will only provide Republicans with wonderful campaign material for the 2018 midterm elections. In the final blow to Democrats, there are numerous reports that John McCain will resign from the Senate this Wednesday, July 4, 2018 so that the Republican Governor can appoint his replacement. Even though McCain hates Trump, he will not risk letting Democrats put another liberal on the Supreme Court.

It will be a long hot summer, but when the smoke from the California fires finally subsides, Amy Coney Barratt will likely be seated on the U.S. Supreme Court.
