Democrats and their puppets in the MSM will never get over the 2016 election. Their plan is solely to resist and obstruct Donald Trump from being successful. They are blinded by hatred. We have had other Presidents who were despised by the media, almost every Republican President has experienced some level of this. But, previously there was still respect for the office and particularly for the duty of the President to protect us. That has all changed. Neither Democrats nor the MSM care about national security. They don’t care if Trump is obstructed from defending us, in fact they would probably welcome such failure. They are willing to pay any price, or I should say willing to let the nation pay any price, to destroy Donald Trump.

This, sadly, is not the first time Democrats have deliberately sabatoged national security. When Richard Nixon was elected in 1968, Democrats responded by cutting off all funds for continuing the air war over North Vietnam. In spite of this restriction, Nixon beat the North Vietnamese in Vietnam. The final blow was when Nixon defied congress and sent B52s over North Vietnam. Our POWs describe hearing the B52 raids and cheering because they knew the war would be OVER. The North Vietnamese quickly folded and signed a peace treaty.

Democrats hounded Nixon out of office. When he was replaced by Gerald R. Ford, Democrats refused to fund the war at all. They even refused to provide funds so South Vietnam could defend itself. They tossed all the sacrifices by those who fought and died in Vietnam onto the scrap heap of history. Then, they literally celebrated our humiliating defeat as if this was some great accomplishment.

They clearly have not learned a thing. Consider the absurdity of this. Donald Trump was standing there next to Kim Jong-un. They were meeting to try and negotiate a settlement that could prevent nuclear war. Jim Acosta, was a White House reporter privileged to travel to Hanoi to report on this event. But he was standing there with his panties all in a wad because Trump did not allow him to ask a question. The question Acosta had prepared was not about North Korea, it was not about preventing nuclear war. Those subjects did not matter to Acosta. He was there to ask Trump an embarrassing question about the idiotic Michael Cohen hearings. He was waiting breathlessly for the chance to obstruct Trump from literally saving the world. He must be very proud.

It finally looks like Trump is preparing to fight back. His tweet yesterday was a shot across the bow of the Democratic ship of state:

“For the Democrats to interview in open hearings a convicted liar & fraudster, at the same time as the very important Nuclear Summit with North Korea, is perhaps a new low in American politics and may have contributed to the ‘walk,’ ” he tweeted. “Never done when a president is overseas. Shame!”

Trump has said that he has classified documents that will be very embarrassing for Democrats. He chose not to declassify them because he wanted to save them for later when their release could have more of an impact. Always remember Trump knows things you don’t know and he also knows things Democrats don’t know.

None of us know all the facts. We do know some things. All of the known facts point more toward collusion with Russia by the Hillary Clinton campaign than to collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign. The allegations of collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign border on absurd. As for allegations of corruption, the Clinton’s invented that game.

It is absurd to think that Donald Trump only won because of Russia. It is far from certain that it was Russian who hacked the DNC servers. Even if that was true, the DNC knew their servers had been hacked, by someone, and they did nothing. This was a self-inflicted wound. It is not a question of who hacked the DNC servers but rather who didn’t hack them. The security was so pathetic that anyone who tried to hack those servers almost certainly succeeded. At least some people think it was an inside job, primarily because of the speed at which the data was downloaded.

Democrats just issued 81 subpoenas. That means at least 81 attorneys are already working on a response. At least some, if not most of them, will challenge congress with regard to the justification for the subpoena. Here is the easiest prediction on the planet. There is zero chance all or even a high percentage of these people will testify before the summer of 2020. That will be in the heart of the Presidential election. Those who do testify, will only exonerate Trump. If there is actually anything to hide, it will stay hidden. Probably the worse case for Trump is people refusing to testify and taking the 5^th. If the goal is actually to remove Trump from office, this definitely won’t work. It appears to be solely designed to influence the 2020 election.

Unless the majority of Americans are as blind, dumb and stupid as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a lot of people have to be thoroughly disgusted with this charade. I am beyond disgusted. It frankly is so bad that it influences my opinion of people who admit to being Democrats. Seriously? A difference of opinion, always. Deliberately sabotaging National Security, not so much.

It is increasingly clear that the leaders in the Democratic Party stand for nothing, believe in nothing and are willing to embrace the absurd in a desperate lust to remove Donald Trump from office. They only want raw power, at any price. They don’t even have a clue with regard to what they would do with such power. That is why so many jumped on the Green Deal bandwagon, it was the only bandwagon in sight.

What they are missing is that everything they do only makes Donald Trump seem larger than life. Every conversation starts and ends with Donald Trump. Not one single Democratic candidate for President can begin to measure up to Trump. Earth to liberals, if every conversation starts and ends with Donald Trump, he is the one dominating the conversation. Duh! If this continues, they will only succeed in guaranteeing his re-election.

I for one am interested in someone organizing a nationwide protest. This would be similar to the Tea Party protests. Little was said, but a lot of people showed up to show their disgust. In 1860, the Wide Awakes organized protests where absolutely nothing was said. Yet these protests spoke volumes Ultimately, they were an important factor in the election of Abraham Lincoln.

The truth is nothing need be said. Democrats and their puppets in the MSM are shredding their credibility on a daily basis. The best response to them is stony silence. That would be sending a really clear message: “When you have something to say, let us know. Until then, nothing you say matters to us.”

The Michael Cohen testimony was clearly designed solely to embarrass Donald Trump. It was unthinkable that Democrats would put on this charade while President Trump was literally negotiating nuclear disarmament with North Korea. It shows that the hatred for Donald Trump far exceeds their love of country. It was beyond belief that Cohen met with both Adam Schiff and Elijah Cumming, prior to this testimony so they could discuss potential questions. But what makes this even worse is that in spite of their best efforts, the hearing was an unmitigated disaster, for Democrats, for the Mueller investigation and particularly for Michael Cohen.

This is so bad that even Chris Cillizza, who never misses an opportunity to trash Trump and anyone who dares support him, noticed. The problem is that Cohen not only lied under oath, he repeated a patently obvious lie on several occasions. Cillizza pointed out, correctly for possibly the first time ever, that this discredited Cohen’s entire testimony.

This hearing was nothing more than proof positive that Democrats are absolutely desperate to find something, anything, to damage Trump. There is no chance they would call someone like Cohen to testify, if they had anything else. Yesterday I accidentally tuned in my Sirius radio to CNN. I listened for about 5 minutes and was absolutely shocked at how bad this was, even for CNN. On the day after Trump had broken off negotiations with Kim Jong-un, Wolf Blitzer was talking to a Democratic congresswoman who was gushing over her plans to call Allen Weisselberg. Certainly, she opined, if Trump ever did something wrong, Weisselberg would be in a position to know that. This is all based on testimony by the thoroughly discredited Michael Cohen. It is clear that the Democrats now want to investigate every single financial transaction by anyone remotely connected with Donald Trump in a desperate search for tomorrow, or I should say, yesterday.

I expect Weisselberg to politely decline and I doubt there is enough time left in Trump’s first term to compel him to testify about anything. You can’t subpoena someone because you hope he might know something about something that could possibly be a crime. You can’t do that to anyone and you certainly can’t do that to the President of the United States.  This is just absurd. What makes is more absurd is that someone like Wolf Blitzer was too biased to even notice.

Democrats are way out over their skies on this. The only people in a worse position are those who call themselves news reporters at CNN. The problem is that Mueller is about to release his report and there won’t even be a hint of Russian collusion and the Trump campaign. Neither will there be any accusations of criminal conduct by Donald Trump. We already know that, because Mueller already said Trump was not even a subject of the investigation. Rob Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller, has said the same thing. But CNN refused to believe that. This means when the Mueller report is released, CNN will immediately demand to know what’s missing. What’s missing is their failure to consider the obvious. Devin Nunes, who knows all the facts, is the one demanding Mueller release all documents.

Democrats and their worshipers at CNN only want Mueller to release anything that has the potential to damage Trump. There is a reason Nunes wants everything released and Adam Schiff does not. It is because both of them know what everything means.

The reality is that after two years of constant harping, those people harping about the evil Donald Trump have come up with Buptkis. They have less than nothing. They have only uncovered things that do more harm to Trump’s enemies than to Trump himself.

The reminds me of Gary Hart. Hart graduated from Bethany Nazarene College and Yale Divinity School. He apparently switched from preaching to politics. A lot of people knew about Gary Hart. He had a reputation for seducing female campaign workers and then ignoring them. He was even accused of sexually harrassing a female reporter by greeting her wearing a bath robe. The rumors were always there, but when a reporter asked him if he had ever committed adultery, he denied it and stupidly challenged them to prove it. “Follow me around. I don’t care. I’m serious. If anyone wants to put a tail on me, go ahead. They’d be bored.” They did follow him, with disastrous results for Gary Hart.

Democrats did not ask anyone to investigate Hillary Clinton, the FBI and the DOJ, but when they asked Mueller to investigate Trump, they forgot who and what else was hiding behind closed doors. That is becoming increasingly obvious. It is also obvious that Trump, who did not ask anyone to investigate him, is the only one who actually had nothing to hide.

A lot of self-righteous politicians are horrified that Donald Trump has praised Kim Jong-un. They consider Kim Yong-un to be a brutal dictator. They are right about that. He is a brutal dictator. What they fail to acknowledge is that if he wasn’t, he would be dead. North Korea is a brutal place where there is no democratic opposition. The people opposed to Kim would likely be even more brutal if they assumed power. They would also likely be something else. They would likely border on suicidal. They have convinced themselves that the U.S. is weak, that we would never attack them and that if they obtain a nuclear weapon, they will rule the world.

There are numerous reports that Kim Jong-un is heading back to North Korea to deliver a reality check to his generals. If they do not denuclearize, they face destruction. If they do agree to denuclearize, they have the potential for a bright future. At least some of them will not care. They will refuse to even consider shutting down their nuclear program. Kim is likely to have two choices. Destroy the opposition, or let the opposition destroy him.

There were already reports that he was purging military leaders opposed to nuclear disarmament prior to the trip to Hanoi. Odds are high he is returning to the ultimate hostile environment. He will have at least some of his leaders, usually generals, who will seek only kill him. These people will never negotiate, they will never compromise. They will either destroy him, or he will destroy them.

It is clear that at least some people in North Korea thought they were dealing with another weak president, like Clinton or Obama. They thought they could snooker Trump into removing all the sanctions, while they would just continue to develop nuclear weapons. That worked with Jimmy Carter. That worked with Bill Clinton. It did not work with George W. Bush, which is why there was a lull in nuclear testing. They just ignored Barack Obama since they considered him to be no threat at all.

But, Trump has shown North Korea and the world that he will not be intimidated into a bad deal. One should note that North Korea agreed to not test nuclear weapons or launch missiles. In addition, Kim said he would not have gone to Hanoi if he was not willing to denuclearize.

I suspect Trump did more than praise Kim. I think he offered him support in removing his opposition in North Korea. That does not mean we will send in troops, which is not on the table. It does mean that we will ask China and North Vietnam to support Kim. It also means that the U.S. realizes Kim will have to take some extremely brutal action with regard to his own opposition. President Trump will not accuse Kim of committing war crimes nor focus on his human rights violations, which will be all too real. That is because Trump, like Roosevelt and Churchill realizes something very important. The most unethical thing they could have done is let Hitler win. The most unethical thing Trump could do is to allow the opposition to Kim take over in North Korea. That outcome would most definitely result in the risk of a nuclear war.

In many ways this is similar to the reason Trump has not condemned the Saudi Crown Prince. Yes, Mohammed bin Salman is a brutal man. But the people opposed to him are hardly saints. They are instead some of the most violent people on this planet. They practice Wahhabism, the most extreme sect of Islam. Osama bin Laden came from Saudi Arabia, but more importantly he came from Wahhabism. Wahhabism has zero interest in compromising with anyone. They are widely considered to be the main source of global terrorism. For decades, there was a working relationship between Wahhabism and the Saudi Royal Family. The Royal family would allow Wahhabism to dominate the culture of Saudi Arabia. They would provide financing to Wahhabism that was often used to conduct terrorist acts. This is probably how the 911 attack on the U.S. was financed. In exchange, Wahhabism would allow the Saudi royal family to rule and to retain its wealth. The new crown prince is the first member of the Saudi Royal Family willing to challenge Wahhabism. That is why women are allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia, for the first time. He is being met with violent opposition from those who will never consider compromise. He clearly viewed Khashoggi as a threat to him. Khashoggi is now dead and the action taken against him was beyond brutal. But few are considering the consequences if someone like Khashoggi had managed to achieve his goal of the replacing the Crown Prince. The replacement would have almost certainly been someone willing to fully embraced the extremism of Wahhabism.

The actions authorized by Churchill and Roosevelt to destroy Germany and Japan were among the most brutal in world history. They were also absolutely necessary. Donald Trump, fortunately, is not confronted with those kinds of decisions. He is however, unlike the rest of us, often required to choose between the lesser of evils. Self-righteousness, with no consequences is easy for those of us who do not have to confront reality. A president of the United States does not have that luxury. If you doubt that, go back and reflect on those decisions made by Churchill, Roosevelt and Truman. Harry Truman literally ordered a nuclear bomb to be dropped on a civilian population. That is unthinkable, unless the alternative is even more unthinkable.

It is nice to pretend that Donald Trump being nice to Kim shows a lack of character, until one is confronted with the potential cost of not doing that.

Democrats are voting today to reject Trump’s declaration of an emergency on our Southern Border. The real emergency, for Democrats, is the need to embarrass Donald Trump. This is in spite of the fact that many of them admitted there was an emergency, when Obama was President. It is in spite of the fact that many of them voted to fund a border wall, when Obama was President. The only thing that changed was the election of Donald Trump. They hate him and are willing to do anything to embarrass him and to obstruct him from being an effective President. This includes obstructing him from doing something they know is critical to our national security.

In the meantime, Michael Cohen is testifying in public about the Stormy Daniels affair. At worst, this was a one night stand between a civilian, Donald Trump, and a porn star. Trump is accused of paying for her silence. The same Democrats, who used public funds to silence people accusing high ranking Democrats of sexual assault, consider this to be the crime of the century. By the way, the person they are calling to testify has been CONVICTED of lying to congress. He has less credibility than Jusse Smollett.

Top Democrats are also arrogantly giving advice to Donald Trump on how to deal with Kim Jong-un, while explaining why he is not up to the job. Everything they suggest has been tried in the past, with zero positive results. It is clear that the only thing they really want is for Trump to fail. They would rather have North Korea testing nuclear weapons and launching intercontinental ballistic missiles than risk giving Donald Trump a political victory. .

Is there no Democrat concerned about the undeniable fact that Trump is negotiating on our behalf. That if he fails, the results are likely to be catastrophic. That if he succeeds, the world will be a safer place for everyone. They don’t appear to care at all. Neither does the MSM. If they can embarrass Trump, if they can somehow regain power, nothing else matters.

In the meantime Donald Trump is meeting with the President of Vietnam, preparing for dinner tonight with Kim Jong-un. Tomorrow he is meeting with Kim Jong-un to try and negotiate an agreement to end the Korean War and to develop a plan forward for nuclear disarmament.

To be blunt, while the President of the United States is literally trying to save the world, Democrats are doing everything possible to obstruct him from succeeding. No one in the MSM seems to even notice or care. If you are a Democrat, you must be very proud. But consider this: If you succeed, we all fail.

In your moment of glory, reflect on this. While George W. Bush was President and he had Assad very afraid, Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry flew to Syria to undermine Bush. Nancy, met with Assad and assured us all that Assad was a good man. We could trust him. That obviously worked really well.

Just imagine how effective this type of talent would be with Kim Jong-un. The only chance for success would be if he laughed so hard he became physically incapacitated. Trump is not perfect, but the Democrats who are trying to obstruct him are perfectly awful.

CNN has one standard for a Democratic President and a completely different standard when a Republican is in office.  Five years ago, while on a humanitarian visit to Guatemala, Rand Paul dared criticize Obama administration immigration policies. CNN was OUTRAGED. They quoted Michael Czin, the DNC press secretary saying: “American has a proud tradition of letting politics stop at the water’s edge, but Paul doesn’t think that tradition applies to him. Regardless of political party, we do not go abroad and slam our own because of policy differences.”

Now we have President Trump visiting Kim Jong-un in North Vietnam and the stakes simply could not be higher. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, should be praying that Trump negotiates a settlement that results in North Korea shutting down its nuclear arms program without having to use our military in a bloody high risk military conflict. Even if you hate Trump, as liberals clearly do, he is still our President and if he succeeds we all benefit. Does anyone really want to go back to the situation during the last year of the Obama presidency when North Korea was testing nuclear weapons and launching intercontinental ballistic missiles? It was so dangerous that when some guy in Hawaii accidentally sent out a warning about an incoming missile from North Korea, a lot of people literally panicked because it was so believable.

Many people believed that the only way to even slow down North Korea was to go to war. A war that would likely cost thousands of lives and literally risk a nuclear holocaust. It is hard to imagine any negotiation with more at stake. If there was ever a time when this country needed to united behind a President, it is now. But instead the liberal media is literally slamming Trump and telling our enemies that Trump is a fool who cannot possibly be trusted. The good news is that, so far, no one in North Korea, Russia or China pays any attention to the idiotic reporting by CNN. If they did, odds are high that we would either be attacked and forced to respond with catastrophic results, or we would be attacked and fail to respond with even more catastrophic results.

I have been disgusted with the treatment of this President by the MSM for a long time. They are clearly incapable to reporting honestly with regard to anything he does. But this goes far beyond that. This is dangerous. Let me put this squarely in perspective. Suppose you are Kim Jong-un and you are wondering whether or not to negotiate with the U.S. or threaten us with Nuclear weapons. Would you be more likely to be intimidated by Donald Trump or by Nancy Pelosi pointing at Trump with that fake hand clap and the silly smirk. Remember, your life and the life of every single American citizen is at stake.

Perhaps, better yet, send over Kamala Harris to giggle about smoking weed. Or perhaps Kirsten Gillibrand so she could lean over and grasp Kim Jong-un’s hand to show she understands his pain. Better yet, send Alexander Ocasio-Cortez. She would scare Kim Jong-un into submission. Democrats have forgotten something important. The primary duty of a President is to defend the country and if you tell the world he is not up to the job, you endanger all of us.

This isn’t funny anymore. This is downright dangerous. It borders on treason. Actually, it borders on insanity. To put this in perspective suppose you are confronted by an angry man with a gun. A police officer confronts the bad guy, draws his weapon and demands he drop his weapon. You laugh and say don’t worry about this guy, his gun isn’t even loaded and if it was, he would be afraid to shoot and by the way, he’s a lousy shot. Would that make you safer?

Sometimes the best political commentary happens when the truth is told bluntly before there is time for the traditional PC screening. That happened yesterday when Charles Barkley spouted off about Jusse Mollett. He said what everyone was thinking, but no one dared admit. This is mostly stupid. The story was stupid. Anyone who actually believed the story was stupid. The planning for the hoax was stupid. The staging was stupid. Paying for someone to commit a crime with a personal check was stupid. Whimpering so people could feel his pain was stupid. Expecting anyone to believe this was stupid.

Oh there are still some die-hards, who are still begging for due process and the presumption of innocence, but most people have moved on. The MSM is trying to forget the whole affair and report on anything else. At some point, someone was bound to pull a Barkley; to just mock the whole thing as stupid beyond belief. By the way, while Barkley was doing this, his co-hosts were laughing out loud.

The reason this went viral is that it is so obviously true. This story was always ridiculous. It was only taken seriously because the MSM is desperate to criticize Trump. They are even more desperate to document hate crimes, particularly ones committed by Trump supporters. They not only wanted this to be true, they needed this to be true. Cory Booker and Kamala Harris needed something to justify their demand that the Senate pass an anti-lynching bill. It was an easy vote, because the last lynching I could find was in 1981 by the KKK.

The left still pretends that Matthew Shepard was the victim of an anti-gay hate crime. This happened in 1998 and is still commonly referred to as one of the worst anti-gay hate crimes in history. Except it wasn’t a hate crime at all. Shepard was dealing crystal meth and one of his killers was a gay man who was being pimped alongside Shepard. It appears the real motive for the murder was that they thought he had access to a shipment of crystal meth worth about $10 k. The truth has been well documented, in a book, written by a gay man, but the MSM does not care because they NEED Matthew Shepard to be the victim of an anti-gay hate crime.

The reason they ran with this absurd Jusse Smollett story is that they have nothing close to what they want or need. When you have nothing, even the patently absurd looks good. Charles Barkley gave the perfect response. He laughed this story off the front page. It’s a beautiful thing.

Jusse Smollett appears to have forgotten something really important. While the MSM portrays all conservatives and Trump supporters as naïve, racist, violent radicals, the reality is quite the opposite. It is not conservatives who are out there screaming insults at people. Yes, there are angry people screaming racist slurs, but they are usually liberals. Check out the news today. There are numerous reports of protestors complaining about Trump building the wall. These protests are actually quite small and even the MSM is having a problem pretending they matter.  There are few, if any, reports of anyone protesting for the wall. Perhaps they are happening, but probably without the insults and definitely without the widespread coverage by the MSM.

So where are all those violent racist protests demanding the wall NOW? Here’s some guidance on how to find these kinds of dangerous radicals. They are in the same place as all those racist bigots who wear MAGA hats so they can roam the streets of Chicago in -10 degree weather at 1:30 a.m. hoping and praying they spot some black gay celebrity to attack. In other words, they usually exist only in the delusional mind of the liberal left.

If you think I am exaggerating, try this experiment. For one week wear a shirt saying: gay pride or better yet dress up in rainbows. See how many people attack you. Odds are a lot of people will laugh and walk away, but you’re probably pretty safe from actually being attacked. Now, spend the next week wearing a MAGA hat. Warning, the odds of you being insulted, refused service or even attacked have just skyrocketed.

When I first heard about this incident I suspected a hoax. So did most people who don’t pretend to be reporters working for the MSM. Some people are just not happy unless they are unhappy. Liberals are like that. They require outrage to feel good about themselves. They are still dreaming of the coveted former tea party member wearing a MAGA hat and clutching a Bible while committing mass murder. When this never actually happens, they just pretend it happened anyway. The result is they make huge embarrassing mistakes. Except that liberals are incapable of embarrassment. This is what happens when you are too blinded by emotions to consider actual facts.

In this case, the real problem for Smollett is that he messed with the wrong people. That would be the United States Postal Service. Now the average mailman (person) is not that much of a threat, but the Postal Inspectors are the real deal. They spend all their time investigating crimes and aren’t distracted by their hatred of Donald Trump or anyone else. Most people don’t even know they exist. But they do, and they are very serious people. There are reports that they have already tracked that “threat” letter allegedly sent to Jusse Smollett, to, gasp, Jusse Smollett. He just may have sent it to himself. He probably was very careful to avoid leaving finger prints, but perhaps forgot he had his cell phone in his pocket when he went to mail the letter. Yes, the Postal Inspectors concentrate on “snail mail” but that doesn’t mean they don’t know how to use technology. He likely to learn all about this when a Postal Inspector is clicking the cuffs on him in preparation for a long vacation at a federal funded facility we call a federal prison.

All those people like Cory Booker and Kamala Harris, who called this a public lynching, are now trying to pretend they never even heard of Smollett. Since he is a black gay liberal, they won’t give him the Kavanaugh treatment and automatically believe anyone who accuses him. Instead they will demand everyone wait for due process. This gives them time to rehearse answering embarrassing questions with: “Jusse who?”

Odds are he has a highly skilled defense attorney who explained the consequences of admitting to treason on National TV. McCabe really thought he would be the ultimate hero. Instead, he is now the top name of the list of people most likely to go to jail.

He has already tried to throw Rod Rosenstein under the bus. Don’t be surprised if he adds more people to the list. This is what desperate people do.  If McCabe is not desperate, if is only because he does not fully appreciate his perilous condition. McCabe and his merry band of fools were blinded by their hatred of Donald Trump and their self-inflated egos. They spent most of their days patting each other on the back while smirking at the clown the American people had stupidly elected to be President of the United States. They were too absorbed with themselves and each other to realize that not only was there no evidence to support their theory, their theory was absurd. McCabe is already doomed; the real question is whether he plans on taking other people down with him.

I have tried to understand how so many allegedly smart people were so incredibly stupid. Then the answer became obvious. They suspected Trump of colluding with Russia because they knew they were helping Hillary Clinton collude with Russia. This happens more often than you think. People suspect others of doing something because they know it is exactly what they have been doing. That is why people convicted of sexual harassment were among the first to lecture others accused of the same thing. Trump is routinely accused of lying and taking things out of context by people who routinely lie and take things out of context. Everything they say or do has an ulterior motive, so they assume everything Trump does has an ulterior motive. They never even consider the possibility that Trump might be doing the right thing for the right reason.

They are ignoring something really important. Most of the people currently running for President are doing so because they want the power and the glory and the enormous wealth. They know that someone like Obama, who had little or nothing in the way of accomplishments in any field, is now worshiped world wide and is filthy rich. They saw Bill and Hillary Clinton achieve very similar results. Perhaps Bill Clinton summed up his administration best when he said: “I may not have been the greatest president, but I’ve had the most fun eight years.” I think Obama feels exactly the same, with the only exception that Obama is so self-absorbed that he still thinks he did an outstanding job.

George W. Bush was very different. He said he did not view being president as the goal of a lifetime but rather as the opportunity of a lifetime. George W. Bush was very wealthy before he became President and his lifestyle since leaving office is very similar to what it was before he ran for office. He is far less visible that either Clinton or Obama. This is partly because of the way the MSM treats Republicans and Democrats but it is also because that is what Bush wants. Whenever you see Clinton or Obama, it is always about them. When you see Bush, it is always about someone else, like wounded warriors.

Donald Trump was rich and famous before he ran for President. He may be the only President in history who experienced a serious downgrade in lifestyle after he was elected. He certainly experienced a huge drop in pay. Trump has often said he didn’t run for President because he needed the job, but rather because the job needed him. So far, he appears to be totally focused on doing the right thing. This, of course, is a perspective that his enemies cannot even comprehend.

I remember once when I was in a high-level executive meeting. We were discussing  the motivation for a major decision by a competitor. I asked whether or not they might have done this just because it was the right thing to do. They all laughed and said: “well we all know that is the least likely explanation.”

This is exactly how Trump’s enemies view him. They don’t know why he is so fixated on building a border wall because they cannot grasp the concept that he may be doing this because he thinks it is the right thing to do. They certainly never considered authorizing the expenditure because it is obviously the right thing to do. Every decision they make is motivated by self-interest and their obsession with destroying Donald Trump. The result is that they often not only ignore an opportunity to do the right thing, they choose an alternative path that leads to destruction.

The case study in this is Andrew McCabe and he is likely to have the opportunity to reflect on this while spending several years behind bars. Democrats would have been wise to admit that there is a crisis on our southern border and to willingly work with the President to fix it. He would have been more than willing to listen to legitimate honest debate on the best alternatives. He probably would have given them things they really wanted, like DACA in order to do the right thing.

Instead, they foolishly demand that people disregard the obvious and accept their ridiculous assertion that there is no emergency, it was all made up by Trump. This is remarkably similar to those who demanded worship at the alter of global warming while people were enduring record low temperatures because of the polar vortex.

A day of reckoning may come sooner than you think. The establishment in Great Britain despised Winston Churchill and scorned him when he warned about Adolph Hitler and Nazi Germany. That continued until things go so bad that they turned to Winston Churchill, in desperation. Overnight he morphed from the worst possible candidate for Prime Minister to the only possible candidate for Prime Minister.

If Trump is right, and I think he is, then Democrats are making an enormous mistake. Those who ignore the facts and disregard history often pay a terrible price for their mistake.

Suddenly, a lot of things are coming into focus. It is extremely important to pay attention to what people actually do and say before reaching conclusions. Two recent events are critical in understanding the Mueller investigation and the decisions made by Rod Rosenstein.

A Buzz Feed story broke saying that the Mueller investigation had solid evidence that Trump had ordered Michael Cohen to lie before congress. Almost immediately the Mueller investigation released a written statement saying that was not true. Think about that. The Mueller investigation NEVER releases any statements, other than when people are indicted. Yet they issued this statement within minutes. More recently Mueller allegedly told Trump he was NOT under investigation.

Andrew McCabe was interviewed by CBS. He said that Rod Rosenstein was seriously considering wearing a wire while talking to President Trump and agreed with the plan to ask cabinet members to invoke the 25^th amendment. The DOJ responded almost immediately denying both of those allegations.

It is important to note exactly what the DOJ said in response:

“Finally, the Deputy Attorney General never spoke to Mr. Comey about appointing a Special Counsel,” the spokesperson said. “The Deputy Attorney General in fact appointed Special Counsel Mueller, and directed that Mr. McCabe be removed from any participation in that investigation. Subsequent to his removal, DOJ’s Inspector General found that Mr. McCabe did not tell the truth to federal authorities on multiple occasions, leading to his termination from the FBI.”

William Barr has been confirmed as the next Attorney General of the United States. For the first time since Trump was elected, an Attorney General appointed by him is not recused from the Russia Investigation. The significance of that cannot be overstated and definitely should not be ignored.

Andrew McCabe admitted in his book and on national TV that he personally started the Russia investigation with no authorization from anyone. He said he was motivated by the decision to fire James Comey. He also admitted to soliciting the support of the Rod Rosenstein, United States Deputy Attorney General to ask cabinet members to invoke the 25^th Amendment to remove Trump from office. This is nothing short of a conspiracy to overthrow the duly elected President of the United States. The dictionary describes this as TREASON:

the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of one’s country

Even if McCabe had evidence to support such action, he did not have the authority to personally launch an investigation of the President of the United States. In reality, he didn’t have any credible evidence. Recently released e-mails show that Andrew McCabe personally colluded with the Clinton Campaign to cover up criminal acts by Hillary Clinton. McCabe knew or should have known that the Russian Dossier was an unverified and probably fake document produced by opposition research paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign. It does not get much worse than this.

This puts the appointment of Robert Mueller in an entirely different perspective. Rod Rosenstein knew exactly what McCabe and others were doing. He was faced with an enormous problem. He could not allow them to continue unobstructed or he too would be part of the conspiracy. Jeff Sessions was recused and Donald Trump was not in a position to intervene without setting off an immediate constitutional crisis. Under the circumstances, perhaps Mueller wasn’t appointed to investigate Trump, he was appointed to stop McCabe.

Trump met with Mueller the day before he was appointed Special Counsel. The MSM assumed this was to interview Mueller for Director of the FBI. They then assumed that because Trump did not choose Mueller, Mueller was out to get Trump.

In retrospect, it never made sense for Rosenstein to arbitrarily decide to appoint a special counsel to investigate Trump. It seems more likely that Rosenstein advised Trump about the conspiracy to remove him from office and proposed the appointment of Robert Mueller to stop the conspirators. Trump may have interviewed Mueller, not as a candidate for Director of the FBI, but rather as special counsel.

As an added bonus, those people conspiring to overthrow the government would likely join the Mueller team under the assumption that he too was out to destroy Trump. This would be the ultimate sting operation. If that was the strategy, it worked perfectly as all the FBI and DOJ personnel involved have been removed from power.

Andrew McCabe just handed Trump his own head on a silver platter, hours before William Barr was confirmed as Attorney General. There was already evidence of what McCabe had done. Now we also have evidence of motive. Game, set, match.

William Barr is certain to recognize treason, when he sees it and he is extremely unlikely to ignore it. He will be sworn in this afternoon in  White House ceremony where Chief Justice John Roberts will administer the oath of office.

He will raise his right hand and say the following:

I, William Barr, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter, so help me God.

If he means it, which he most certainly does, then Andrew McCabe and anyone who conspired with him should be afraid, very very afraid.

I only watched a few minutes of the Whitaker hearing today. It is increasingly clear that the Democratic Party has lost its collective mind. They have obviously convinced themselves that Donald Trump is an evil monster and that Whitaker is the Devil’s Disciple. There is zero evidence supporting this, of course, but the modern Democratic Party cannot be bothered with actual evidence. They feel that Whitaker is evil so he must be evil. This was nothing short of embarrassing. If you listened to the Democrats you would think that Mueller has found irrefutable evidence that Donald Trump colluded with Russia, obstructed justice and is a clear and present danger to our democracy. The reality is that just recently Rod Rosenstein, who oversees the Mueller Investigation, said Trump isn’t even a subject of the investigation. We know this because Trump said this during an interview and Rosenstein did not dispute saying this.

This, of course, is the worst case scenario for Democrats. They want Trump to be guilty. They need Trump to be guilty; they have worked themselves up into lather by foolishly believing their own talking points even when the truth has been obvious from day one.

This reminds me of the Richard Jewel case. He was the man who alerted police to the presence of a knapsack, before it exploded at the Atlanta Olympics. Although there was zero evidence linking Jewell to the crime, the FBI “thought” he looked guilty. The MSM picked up on this and Richard Jewell was harassed 24/7 by an out of control media totally convinced that he was the evil bomber. It was pathetic.

The FB I Director at the time was Louis Freeh. When he learned that the FBI was going to interview Jewell he demanded that they read him his Miranda rights. The agent involved, Don Johnson, said he felt: “blindsided” by this. Seriously? Blindsided by being asked to follow proper procedure? So Johnson did read Jewell his Miranda rights, but pretended it didn’t matter because it was a training film. At that point Jewell called his attorney who quickly put an end to the interview. However, although the interview was over, this was just the beginning of the problems for Richard Jewell.

So why did the FBI become so convinced that Jewell was the prime suspect? It is beyond bizarre. The President of Piedmont College, Ray Cleere, called the FBI in Atlanta after he saw Jewell on TV. Apparently Jewell worked there as a security guard. Cleere claims that the folks at the FBI didn’t pay “sufficient” heed to what he was saying. That is pretty amazing, because the FBI did everything but threaten Jewell with an immediate public lynching. Cleere later said that when he called the FBI he didn’t saying anything of note. It seems possible that Cleere just didn’t like Richard Jewell and was offended that he was being treated like a hero. The only thing we know for sure about Cleere is that he was consistently inconsistent. We also know that Jewell had no involvement in the placement of that bomb. He also voluntarily took a lie detector test, which he passed, but the facts just never mattered.

In any event, the FBI went full nutzo. They decided Jewell was the guy, and then developed a profile based on what they knew about Jewell. They then used this profile to explain why he was guilty. Talk about circular reasoning. Then it got worse. There were about 30,000 law enforcement people in Atlanta because of the Olympics. Apparently one FBI agent leaked the information about Jewell and it spread like wildfire among the law enforcement community.

Freeh took the case away from the local agents and turned this over to the National Security Division. The National Security Division was trained to use intimidation and manipulation. This contrasts with other divisions of the FBI which insist on the boring practice of actually gathering evidence to be used in court. The results were spectacularly bad.

By the way, the National Security Division was replaced in 2005 by the National Security Branch. Andrew McCabe, yes THAT Andrew McCabe was appointed executive assistant director of the National Security Branch in 2013. My oh my, be still my soul!

Initially the media refused to report on Jewell, because it was unsubstantiated. But then they started to hear other law enforcement officials saying the same thing so they assumed it must be true. No one realized all of this came from the same one unreliable source. Sound familiar? This is exactly what happened with the Russia Collusion fiasco.

Guess which Network was first to go national with the story. YOU GUESSED IT…CNN. In a short period of time Jewell was the subject of wide spread character assassination. Some even compared him to Wayne Williams, the suspect in all those murders in Atlanta. Eventually the real suspect, Eric Rudolph, was identified: He had also done four other bombings, including one of an abortion clinic. The FBI botched that too. Rudolph went on the lamb and wasn’t apprehended for five more years. Even then, it wasn’t the result of the FBI manhunt; a police officer in Murphy, North Carolina spotted Rudolph hiding behind a grocery store at 4:00 a.m. The policy officer asked the Cherokee County Sheriff’s department for backup and one of the Sheriff Deputies recognized Rudolph.

Some of you may wonder why I know so much about this. I was working for ABM during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. ABM provided the security at some of the Olympic facilities. When that bomb went off, I was called by our security official on the scene almost immediately. I was in Chicago on business and they called the phone in my hotel room. I still remember that call. “Terry, a bomb just went off at the Olympics, what do we do?” It turned out that ABM personnel had zero involvement in any of this, but I obviously had good reason to follow the details of this very closely.

This is literally a case study in piss poor police work accompanied by totally irresponsible reporting in the MSM. After watching the hearings today, it is clear that the FBI, CNN and the Democratic Party are using the same playbook used so successfully in the Richard Jewell fiasco. My prediction is that they will ultimately end up achieving remarkably similar results. They are just far less likely to consider apologizing.
