Most of us are all too familiar with January 6^th. This was the day congress voted to certify the results of the 2020 election. Donald Trump held a rally in Washington, D.C. He clearly felt that the 2020 election had been stolen. He urged his supporters to send a loud message to congress to please investigate this before just rubber stamping the electoral college. There were states who sent representatives to congress complaining that the election had violated state election laws.

At some point, a crowd of mostly Trump supporters got out of control. Some of them ended up inside the Capital and congress was evacuated. When the situation got under control, congress came back into session, and Mike Pence quickly pushed through final approval of the electoral college. At that point, Joe Biden was officially elected President of the United States and nothing short of impeachment could change that. There was no longer any option to investigate the election and verify results.

The mainstream media, urged on by Democrats, immediately declared this the darkest day in American history. There were numerous false reports of Capital police officers killed. No Capital police officers were killed. One died because of natural causes.

There is no evidence that anyone participating in the protest was armed. Some may have assaulted police officers. The violence was wrong, but far less than previously noticed at BLM or ANTIFA riots. There were unconfirmed reports that FBI informants were actively encouraging protestors to become more aggressive. We are only now learning how many FBI informants were part of that crowd. As of January 5, 2024, more than 1,200 people were charged and 460 people imprisoned for their role in the Capital attack. Attorney General Merrick Garland described this as “one of the largest and most complex and resource-intensive investigations in our history.”

There was no chance to investigate the 2020 election in time to change results. What we do know is that about 15 million “voters” who showed up for Joe Biden in 2020 went missing four years later. Why? We know that there is mounting evidence of election fraud. Those who watched results in 2020 saw Donald Trump with substantial leads, only to see those leads evaporate over night with miraculous late-night ballot dumps, all for Joe Biden. There are videos that appear to show people counting the same ballots time after time. There are reports of poll watchers being denied access. Most of these reports were just ignored by the MSM.

The left-wing media and Democrats demanded everyone publicly state that the 2020 election was fair and honest. January 6^th has been labeled an armed insurrection. Donald Trump was portrayed as the ultimate “Threat to Democracy,” who wanted to replace our democracy with a dictatorship. There were multiple attempts to stop him by filing ridiculous lawsuits in cities where he had zero chance of a fair trial. He was convicted of a felony based on a law that did not exist.

Now we are learning that President Obama allegedly ordered the CIA and the FBI to prepare a national intelligence analysis showing that Russia tried to interfere with the 2016 election to beat Hillary Clinton. That never made sense. This was clearly an attempt, by President Barack Obama, to prevent the duly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, from effectively governing. This work of fiction was leaked to the press just as Trump took the oath of office. He was subject to a full-scale investigation by a Special Prosecutor. His own Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, recused himself and refused to get involved.

The same MSM and Democrats who continue to call January 6^th an armed insurrection, are now screaming at the top of their lungs in protest that anyone would even consider the possibility that what John Brennan, James Clapper, and James Comey did at the direction of then President Obama is worth investigating. Incredibly, many are still pretending the Russia collusion hoax has not been fully discredited.

How much more needs to happen before people wake up to who is and who is not a threat to democracy? If true, the actions by President Obama and others are nothing short of treason.

The great miracle of our country is the peaceful transfer of power, even after a heated political contest. Up until January 2017, that tradition was maintained, regardless of which political party won, and which party lost. That all changed in January 2017. It is too bad the MSM still has not even considered the seriousness of this situation.

I still remember when “President” Bill Clinton bombed Iraq during his impeachment trial. The only apparent crisis was the impeachment trial of Bill Clinton. At first, he just lied about everything, and then his only defense was that it was only about sex. A President of the United States had too much responsibility to be removed because of “sex.” Ted Koppel, from ABC news, noticed that the timing was so convenient that it caused one to question Clinton’s real motives. But then he paused and said, “but that would be unthinkable.”

The problem is that while it was truly unthinkable that a President of the United States would order troops into combat for purely political purposes, this does not mean it wasn’t true.

Now we are learning of a coordinated effort by President Barack Obama to sabotage Donald Trump, just before he took the oath of office. It worked beautifully, because the “Russia Collusion Hoax” dominated the news cycle for months. A special prosecutor was assigned the investigation with the clear implication that Donald Trump could not be trusted to investigate anything. After months, it was undeniable, except to CNN, that this had all been a hoax and there was never any credible evidence. More recently there is documentation that this hoax was the result of a political hit piece paid for by Hillary Clinton to distract from her own disgraceful failure to protect classified information and to block Donald Trump.

President Obama knew there was no “Russian Collusion,” but instead of admitting that he doubled down on directing a strategy designed to prevent Donald Trump from governing. He hoped for another Nixonian moment. Democrats did not like the results of the 1972 election, so they conspired to overturn the results of that election and remove Richard Nixon without regard to the consequences. The consequences were abandoning South Vietnam and throwing away the sacrifices of the men and women who fought in that war.

If Republicans had tried to do this to a Democrat President, the legacy media would have gone into rebellion. Republicans reluctantly chose to impeach Bill Clinton because he was so obviously guilty, they felt they had no choice. Democrats did the opposite. They united behind Clinton, despite his obvious guilt, for purely political reasons.

When Donald Trump was elected, Democrats did not like the results. They desperately tried to overturn the election. When the Russian Collusion Hoax fell apart, Democrats impeached him twice. Fortunately, most Republicans stayed united behind Trump, and he survived.

They did manage to get rid of Trump, temporarily, by electing Joe Biden with last-minute, late-night ballots miraculously all for Joe Biden. If anyone dared hint of a problem the MSM screamed them into embarrassing silence. Now, four years after the most secure election in our nation’s history, millions of people who allegedly voted for Joe Biden in 2020, disappeared during the 2024 election. One must question whether they ever existed.

Then, to add insult to injury, Democrats tried to claim it was Republicans who tried to overturn the results of an election on January 6, 2021. If this was truly a plan to overturn the election, it was a joke. It had zero chance of succeeding and people went to jail because of posing for photo ops in the Capital. In the meantime, Democrats ignored blatant and violent attempts to interfere with the federal government by BLM and Antifa.

Now the truth is coming out. One wonders if anyone in the legacy media will notice. It is unlikely, if they do notice, they will care. But the American people will notice, and they are likely to care a great deal. What Obama tried to do in 2016 was truly the unthinkable scheme, but Democrats have a long history of doing the unthinkable. To Democrats and their fawning supporters in the MSM, something is unthinkable only if it allegedly done by Republicans.

By all accounts, Jeffrey Epstein was a despicable human being. The proven allegations against him regarding the activities at his private island are beyond disgusting. What makes this more appalling is the enthusiastic participation by at least some rich and famous people.

Donald Trump was on that list. But while he was a friend of Epstein, there is no evidence he participated in any of the alleged sex trafficking. In her deposition, Giuffre said: “Donald Trump never flirted with me.” She never saw Trump at Epstein’s house. She never saw him on Epstein’s island. She never saw him In New Mexico. She never saw him in New York. Guiffre said that journalist Sharon Churcher made up lies about Trump.

This makes sense, because even the liberal left-wing reporters in the MSM gave up on linking Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein. Note that when the Trump administration promised to release the Epstein files, Democrats, and their supporters in the MSM were incredibly quiet. Then, when the files weren’t released, people on all sides smelled cover-up. Now Democrats have suddenly decided the Epstein files really matter.

Is Donald Trump hiding something? Or, at least, is Pam Bondi hiding something? Perhaps Bondi told Trump that the files were embarrassing but lacked enough evidence for conviction. Trump decided against wasting time and money solely for political purposes.

But there is another option: “What if Trump just lured Democrats into the ultimate trap?” If Republicans had released the Epstein files, the liberal media and leading Democrats would have gone into overtime accusing the Trump administration of misinformation and wasting time. But since Democrats are demanding hearings and full release, they just guaranteed full disclosure, and they lost the best opportunity to challenge results. Did Democrats just hoist themselves on their own petard?

Who knows where this goes, we just know it is going somewhere, fast, and in the most public way possible. This is guaranteed to do damage to a lot of people and that is likely to include some Republicans. But the list above mainly features individuals with liberal views, many of whom have direct ties to Democrats. It was widely perceived that the Epstein case concluded with Jeffrey Epstein’s death. That may have been the hope and even the plan. But the best laid plans of mice and men are often ruined by reality. The “Ep Tide” is flowing fast, and odds are it is going to cause a lot of damage.

Democrats and the MSM are determined to stop ICE from enforcing our immigration laws. Barack Obama deported millions of people, but the MSM didn’t care because, well, he was Barack Obama not Donald Trump.

In addition, no one on either side seems to be capable of explaining the obvious. There are millions of people in this country, illegally. We don’t even know who these people are or where they are located.

Democrats and the MSM would have us believe that we should use the TSA approach to solving a problem. Following 911, it was obvious that the most dangerous people flying on commercial airliners were Muslim extremists. All the people involved in 911 were Muslim extremists. This does not mean that all Muslims are terrorists. I personally have friends who are Muslim, who are not a threat to anyone.

But according to the liberal mindset, it would be racist and unfair to pay special attention to young Muslim men or women trying to board aircraft while sweating profusely and chanting “Allahu Akbar.”  So, the TSA brilliantly decided to screen everyone, including the 82-year-old white grandmother from Des Moines, Iowa, as equally dangerous. The result is those long lines waiting for hours to try and board a Commercial airliner. Of course you can avoid this harassment by registering, for additional money, with TSA Pre.

I remember when this nonsense started. I was talking with a friend of mine who happened to be a Muslim man who traveled internationally. He said: “I have no problem with them screening me more carefully because I am a Muslim, because the terrorists are trying to kill me too.” Bingo.

I recently talked to one of my liberal friends who screamed about how ICE is profiling people based on things like race and ethnic origin. This approach has already resulted in finding extremely dangerous criminals. But using logic and common sense to solve a problem created by liberal Democrats is so un-American.

This liberal wanted a standard where ICE dare not ask someone for documentation that they are here legally, without “probable cause.” That sounds great, if you want to make sure that very few people here illegally will be identified. This person gloated that massive funding is being provided to purchase vans and staffs of attorneys standing by to provide free legal advice to anyone ICE dares to confront. This is brilliant, if your goal is to make it impossible to identify and deport people who are here illegally.

While liberals sat on their hands while Biden opened the border and let millions of people just walk right in, they are morally outraged that Trump is trying to fix the problem. Of course, to liberal Democrats, if these people are more likely to vote for Democrats, nothing else matters.

The only alternative to racially profiling to try and find people here illegally would be to set up roadblocks and make everyone prove citizenship. Wouldn’t that be fun? This would be like the DUI checkpoints used during Holiday periods. Why we could inflict the TSA experience on anyone daring to drive a car.

It’s not like sanctuary cities allow dangerous criminals to get a free get out of jail card if they are lucky enough to be here illegally. What that would be unthinkable. I mean it is not like these people are likely to just kill someone else. Seriously, has that ever happened?

We are entering a new ICE age, where people who can’t spell morality will ignore the obvious and embrace the ridiculous, without regard to the consequences, if it helps Democrats regain political power. Sadly, with the support of the MSM, if Republicans don’t do a better job of explaining reality, they may succeed. If they do succeed, illegal aliens will dominate every national election.

What could possibly go wrong? I mean it is not like liberals would support a Muslim Extremist communist running for Mayor of New York City, promising to stop ICE, tax white people and help Hamas destroy Israel. Of course not. That would be ridiculous.

There were some stunning developments over July 4^th. Most of us celebrated, again, living in the United States. We have freedom the rest of the world only dreams about. There is a reason so many people are desperate to come here.

Yet a recent poll showed that only 58% are proud to be an American. The varies along party lines. A recent poll showed that 92% of Republicans are proud to be an American, but only 36% of Democrats.

When one considers that most of the MSM are liberal Democrats, the problem becomes obvious. They are succeeding in their messaging. The problem is that their message is based on misinformation, and it is doing great harm.

If you bother to watch CNN, it constantly trashes Donald Trump while rarely making any attempt to follow the facts and evidence. Predictably they tried to blame Donald Trump for those awful floods in Texas.

This “veteran” explains how Trump is destroying our democracy. He describes him as a convicted felon who pardons other felons. (Referring, of course, to the people arrested for being in Washington D.C. on January 6^th.)

I could post more, but the point is that the MSM trashes Trump daily, if not hourly. They distort everything he does or says when not making up outrageous and ridiculous lies out of whole cloth.

People paying attention, meaning they get their news from anywhere other than the MSM, ignore this nonsense. Trump may not be your first choice as President, but he is not a threat to Democracy. ICE is arresting people who are here illegally. That is not a threat to Democracy, However encouraging people here illegally to vote for Democrats is a threat to Democracy.

Anyone remotely familiar with the “felony” convictions of Trump know that they are a farce. If someone does not understand this, they haven’t been paying attention. The sole purpose of those politically motivated trials was to stop Trump with false convictions labeling him a felon. It didn’t work, in 2024, most people who voted, voted for Donald Trump.

Trump haters continue to do everything possible to prevent him from governing. It used to be that politics ended at our nation’s borders. That is no longer true. Democrats routinely trash Trump regarding international affairs. They would rather see him lose than the country win.

Now to be honest, Donald Trump brings a lot of this on himself. He constantly seeks to grab all the glory while slamming anyone he considers to be disloyal. But just because he is paranoid doesn’t mean people aren’t out to get him. They are totally committed to destroying him.

This reminds me of Richard Nixon. He was re-elected in a landslide, and he negotiated an end to the Vietnam war. But Democrats and their supporters in the MSM were out to get him. They turned a third-rate burglary on DNC headquarters in the Watergate Hotel into an impeachment scandal. Nixon didn’t know anything about it; his big crime was helping cover up the actions of subordinates. When Republicans told Nixon they couldn’t back him anymore, he was forced to resign.

He was replaced by Gerald Ford who was immediately handcuffed by congress controlled by Democrats. The result was that the victory in Vietnam was thrown away with catastrophic results. But Democrats and their supporters in the MSM were too busy celebrating to notice.

When most Democrats are not proud to be Americans, it puts a whole new meaning on “go forth.” It is a sad day when one political party and its fawning supporters in the MSM are so determined to destroy Donald Trump, without regard to the consequences, that they are willing to destroy pride in our country while doing so.

If you have been listening to Democrats in congress and their fawning supporters in the MSM, Republicans just stripped critical Medicare coverage away from U.S. citizens desperately in need. Hakeem Jeffries was so distraught that he droned on, and on, and on for over eight hours in a last-ditch desperate attempt to stop passing this bill.

One thing is certain; Democrats were beyond desperate to stop the big, beautiful bill. But the real reason has nothing to do with the weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. No, millions of people are not going to be stripped of Medicare. No, hospitals all over the country are not about to close overnight. So why are they so excited? Why are they so distraught? The answer is that they just lost their last best change to stop the Trump agenda. Their plan was to get Republicans to self-destruct and pass nothing. The results of that would have been truly catastrophic, and Democrats were ready, willing, and able to blame everything on Republicans.

Take the debt ceiling for example. Trump wanted it gone for the simple reason that he knew Democrats would use it to block his entire agenda. This is straight out of the Democrat playbook. Everyone knows that failure to extend the debt ceiling would result in the U.S. defaulting on its debt. Everyone agrees that would be catastrophic. The difference between Republicans and Democrats is that Democrats would be more than willing to let that happen if they can blame Republicans. On numerous occasions Democrats have held the country hostage because they knew Republicans would always cave. Part of the reason for this, is that Democrats know the MSM will ALWAYS blame Republicans, without regard to the facts. Republicans, on the other hand, have always caved and given in to ridiculous Democrat demands. But this bill ended the debt ceiling crisis and makes it much more difficult for Democrats to hold the entire American economy hostage.

Anyone remotely familiar with Medicare knows that it is a recipe for fraud. That is particularly true when Democrats willingly give benefits to illegal aliens. Democrats routinely conflate anyone here, dumb enough to vote for Democrats, with people here legally. They demand due process for people who never bothered with due process when crossing our border. It didn’t help that Biden just opened the border and waived everyone in.

The reality is that Democrats did this because they “needed” illegal aliens to vote if they hope to win future elections. This is why blue states are notorious for not embracing voter ID. 1.5 million fewer people voted for Republicans in 2024, but 13.2 million fewer Democrats voted in 2024. Trust me, if Democrats could bring forward examples of people who were eligible to vote who were disenfranchised by fewer mail-in ballots, the MSM would be all over that. Where are these 13.2 million missing voters? No one knows, perhaps because it is far from certain they ever existed in the first places.

Democrats predicted runaway inflation because of the Trump tariffs. Didn’t happen. They predicted a recession. Didn’t happen. A major problem for Democrats is that their predictions that the Sky is falling aren’t working anymore. They scared people regarding COVID 19. They scared people regarding climate change. None of their predictions turned out to be accurate. The American people may not know who is telling the truth, but they sure know who has been lying.

Democrats have been screaming that this will cut Medicare. That is a lie. This bill does not even touch Medicare. It does include expanded work, education, or training requirements of 80 hours per month for able adults who aren’t caregivers of small children to continue getting food stamps under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or insurance coverage under Medicaid. These changes are not likely to be implemented before the end of 2026. Normal operations will continue, with no disruptions to public health or essential services expected.

When Trump entered office in 2017, the richest 1% of tax filers paid more than 40% of all income taxes collected. When Reagan took office the top tax rate was 70%. The wealthiest 1% of tax filers paid about 19% of the income tax. This is why so many billionaires are fund raisers for Democrats. It is why Hollywood Celebrities are liberal Democrats. They know for whom the income tax tolls, and if you are really rich, it never tolls for you.

Democrats and the liberal left MSM are lying to you, again. And they will be exposed, again. The Sky is not falling. Gloom, despair and agony on me, are still words in a song, not an accurate description of reality.

In the meantime, all Republicans need do to run the table in the 2026 midterm elections is to point out to people how much they would be paying in taxes if this bill had not passed. This makes me wonder, again, if Democrats are really this stupid, or do they just hope and pray the American people are this stupid?

One of the most annoying and irresponsible realities about the MSM is that they have lost even a shred of responsible reporting. Unfortunately, this is not exactly new. On June 1, 1942, the Chicago Tribune published a story with the following headline:

Anyone who has ever worked in intelligence and had access to top secret information knows that the most vital information is “what we know about the enemy.” It is hard to imagine a more critical issue right now than whether Iran can or cannot make a nuclear weapon. The defense department, for the record, is merely stating the obvious, that our bombing mission obliterated its target. Iran is claiming it still has its enriched uranium, but they would say that whether it was true or not.

The problem is that there are supposed leaks saying we have signals intelligence allegedly showing that Iran still has enriched uranium. This story may or may not be true. The MSM lately has been famous for lying about everything if it believes it has the potential to discredit Donald Trump, without regard to the consequences.

Regarding the more recent “leak” the consequences could result in a catastrophic World War III involving nuclear weapons. Having worked in Signals Intelligence it is hard for me to imagine any person directly involved leaking this kind of information. Sadly, the deep state is all too real and there are people in positions demanding the utmost trust who untrustworthy. There are people who will leak “information” later shown to have zero merit. Sadly, there are always people in the MSM, like that reporter, willing to publish information that could be incredibly damaging to our national security.

More recently there was a classified briefing for United States Senators. Instantly senators from both parties were more than willing to publicly air their opinions. Republicans tended to support the President’s assertion that the damage was significant. Democrats tended to question the results. They all talked too much and did nothing more than provide direct evidence regarding why Congress cannot be trusted to protect classified information.

The only response to that briefing, by members of both parties, should have been to thank the military personnel involved and thank the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of State, and the Director of the CIA for taking the time to keep them informed. Instead, they all pontificated, one way or another, and everything they said had the potential to disclose classified information.

This creates a huge problem for any administration. How, exactly, can you keep congress fully informed, if members of congress cannot be trusted to protect classified information. Just for once it would be nice to see people united in protecting the country and get off their political high horses.

The duties of a President of the United States, Commander in Chief, includes making extremely difficult but necessary decisions. Trying to run a war, with a committee, would be irresponsible. I think too many people have forgotten the awesome responsibilities of a President of the United States. We have chosen Presidents based more on name recognition than actual ability. More recently Joe Biden was allowed to remain in office even after it was apparent that the lacked the mental awareness required. In addition, even at his worst, Joe Biden may have been a better option than the only possible replacement, Kamala Harris.

It is also important to have some members of the media who can be trusted regarding extremely critical issues. Sadly, that has also not been true for an extraordinarily long time. Walter Cronkite, the most trusted name in news, completely misrepresented what was going on in Vietnam, after the Tet offense and as a result the United States snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

We should learn from this, but we increasingly rely on artificial intelligence over reality. It is hard to be optimistic.

November 4, 1979, Iranian “students” seized the U.S. Embassy and detained more than 50 Americans. They were detained there until January 20, 1981; coincidentally the same day Ronald Reagan gave his first inaugural address.

It was humiliating to see our Embassy overrun, Embassy employees held in captivity, and our President, Jimmy Carter, seemingly incapable of doing anything about it. He did authorize a rescue mission, “Operation Eagle Claw.” It was a miserable failure, much like the rest of the Carter Presidency.

Jimmy Carter visited Iran in 1977. He called Iran an “Island of Stability.” When the Iranian revolution broke out in 1979, the U.S. did not intervene. Carter even refused to allow the Shah to visit the U.S. for medical treatment. But later he changed his mind and let the Shah come anyway. That is what triggered the American Hostage fiasco.

Iran became the number one sponsor of terrorism in the world. It has supplied weapons to terrorist groups in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Gaza, and several other places.

Iran is famous for calling the U.S. the “Great Satan” and threatening to destroy both Israel and the U.S. It enabled attacks by terrorist groups it supports that have killed U.S. military personnel. To make things worse, Iran has been determined to obtain a nuclear weapon. While several nations have nuclear weapons, the only nation to use a nuclear bomb was the U.S. That happened in 1945 at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. President Truman ordered the use of atom bombs to convince Japan to surrender.

Since then, no country has used a nuclear weapon because no sane person wants to see a war involving nuclear weapons. Many people fear that Iran would either use the threat of a nuclear weapon to hold Israel and the United States hostage or it would use such a weapon to destroy Israel.

American Presidents have been expressing concern regarding Iran getting a nuclear weapon for decades. It is obvious that Iran has been putting maximum effort into getting a nuclear weapon and has been working on developing ballistic missiles capable of delivering a nuclear weapon. Iran is run by people who believe that Israel must be destroyed.

This is why Israel attacked the nuclear facilities in Iran. It is why President Trump just ordered U.S. B2 bombers to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities. Most people support this, because having a country like Iran in possession of a nuclear weapon is unthinkable. It is hard to imagine a more serious threat to our national security.

The mission ordered by President Trump was a tremendous success. The entire world watched in awe as our military strength was put on full display. No one knows what will happen next. Iran predictably launched another missile attack against Israel, but it is running out of missiles. Israel targeted the Iranian military chain of command and the results are stunning.

Before Democrats and RINO Republicans try to impeach Trump, they might want to do some research. Barack Obama attacked Libya without congressional approval. He routinely ignored the War Powers Resolution. He just sent a notification letter to Congress announcing that he was restarting the 60-day limit.

Even POLITICO admitted Obama’s decision to intervene in Libya, while ignoring Iran, was a huge mistake.

“Rather than helping the United States combat terrorism, as Gadhafi did during his last decade in power, Libya [began to serve] as a safe haven for militias affiliated with both al – Qa i da and the Islamic State of Iraq (ISIS). The Libya intervention has harmed other U.S. interests as well: undermining nuclear nonproliferation, chilling Russian cooperation at the U. N., and fueling Syria’s civil war.”

The difference between the decision made by Obama and the one made by Trump is enormous. Trump was facing a real, imminent threat to Israel and the rest of the world if Iran was able to obtain a nuclear weapon. Obama was responding to a UN resolution. Libya was a lot of things, but not a threat to the U.S. or its interests.

Russia is warning the U.S. about dangerous escalation. But the facts are that these strikes just told Moscow their air defense systems cannot defend against a U.S. attack. In addition, they admitted that Iran was working toward a nuclear weapon.

Dmity Medvedev admitted that: “The enrichment of nuclear material – and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons – will continue.” He also said that nations are prepared to give Iran a nuclear weapon. It is hard to imagine any nation that stupid.

He also said there was only minor damage to Iran’s nuclear facilities. The pictures tell a vastly different story.

Russia has recently been threatening to use nuclear weapons. But if Russia used a nuclear weapon, anywhere, it would face an immediate threat of massive retaliation.

Donald Trump knows exactly how to respond to a threat by anyone of using a nuclear weapon.

Kim Jong Un got the message. He later met directly with President Trump. With this attack on Iran, Trump just sent a strong message to Russia, Iran, China, and North Korea. We have the military capacity to take out their facilities. Trump is not intimidated by people who make hollow threats. He does not seek war with China, Russia, North Korea or even Iran. But the best way to maintain the peace is to show the world Trump can and will give the order to use our tremendous military assets if that becomes necessary.

If we learn anything from history, hopefully China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran will learn from Kim Jong Un and decide the United States may not be our friend, but they cannot risk making us an enemy.

The Democrat Party is floundering on the high sees(sp). The most recent example of this was the bizarre case of Alex Padilla. Having lived in California for over 35 years, we knew about Alex Padilla. He was the California Secretary of State. People in other states are sometime shocked to learn that ballot harvesting is legal in California. Democrats consider this a way to increase voter turnout. Ballot boxes are put in selected locations so that people could vote without the inconvenience of reporting in person and bothering to identify themselves. Chain of custody was so yesterday. When Republicans tried to join in the game, by putting Ballot Boxes in Churches and Gun Stores, Padilla lost his mind. He issued a cease and desist ordering arguing that the boxes were a form of legal ballot harvesting. That, of course, was true because that is exactly what Democrats were doing. But if it weren’t for double standards, Democrats would have no standards at all, so Republicans, predictably, caved after acknowledging that a volunteer had made a mistake by denoting the ballot box as official, a designation only authorized for Democrat ballot boxes. Preserving chain of custody of the ballots, unless solely done by Democrats, was totally unacceptable to Padilla.

Naturally, this made him the ideal candidate to replace Kamala Harris as Senator from California. Governor Newsom appointed him after Harris became VP in 2021. He won election to the Senate in 2022. What a shock to see a Democrat win a federal election in California. He predictably voted with Joe Biden 100% of the time.

Most recently he tried to interrupt a press briefing by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem by rushing toward her screaming that he “wanted to know why you insist on exaggerating and embellishing.” The Secret Service responded by grabbing him and dragging him kicking and screaming out of the room. I am not sure that Kristi Noem even noticed because she just calmly continued with her briefing.

Since then, with carefully edited video, Padilla claims he was assaulted unjustly by the Secret Service. The unedited video provides a different perspective of events. Then J.D. Vance poured gas on the fire by referring to Alex Padilla as “Jose” Padilla. I don’t know if this was intentional or not, but Democrats seized the day by playing the race card. The same race card Padilla has used repeatedly throughout his career. He was president of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. But if a Republican refers to someone who brags about being Hispanic, as being Hispanic, well that is an insult that cannot be ignored.

When Padilla was appointed to the Senate, Black leaders were furious that another Black woman did not replace Kamala Harris. There’s a pattern here. Little known Democrat politicians, desperate for public attention, are finding ways to get arrested. Then they can claim the victim card. You know like when the President of the National Association of Latino elected and Appointed Officials is accused of being Hispanic.

Padilla is advancing in Democratic leadership not due to achievements, but because he got arrested. Being handcuffed for behaving like a jerk is a high honor in the modern Democrat Party. The greatest symbol of leadership ability is being publicly identified as a victim. This is why other Democrats have seized the day and the spotlight by trying to rush past armed guards at ICE detention facilities.

So, if you are going nowhere as a Democrat politician, because you are accomplishing nothing, then getting arrested will gain you the blue badge of courage. If nothing else works, give it an arrest.

Everything moves in cycles, and just when you think Democrats have dug a hole too deep to climb out of, Republicans find a way to self-destruct. But that may be delayed a little longer if the only way Democrats can get someone to pay attention is for them to get arrested for doing something stupid like objecting to the Trump administration enforcing federal law. You know, like pointing out that people here illegally, are here illegally, and the rest of us are more than a little tired of being asked to support them with our taxes.

President George W. Bush ordered Operation Iraqi Freedom which was launched on March 20, 2003. Within 21 days the coalition of troops led by the U.S. and Great Britain had seized Bagdad. In December, Saddam Hussein was captured hiding in a Spider Hole. He was executed on December 30, 2006.

The world was in awe of what had been accomplished by Operation Iraqi Freedom. People were asking what Bush should do now, should he look right or left for the next target. Muammar Gaddafi, who was on the left, was no fool, so he ordered Libya to halt its nuclear program and began cooperating with the U.S. Iran, which was on the right, suspended its nuclear weapon program. But then something changed. During an interview with Chris Matthews, Joe Biden, who was the United States Senator from Delaware and chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee said that: “if President Bush attacked Iran without congressional approval, he “would lead an effort to impeach him.”  Brilliant!

Iran formally halted the Amad Plan in late 2003. They didn’t like what happened to Saddam Hussein. Once they realized that Bush would have to get permission from Joe Biden to attack Iran, they relaxed. They started openly working on a nuclear weapon again and that brings us today where there are some reports they could be within weeks of achieving that goal.

By April 2006, the country had announced that it had enriched uranium to the level of 3.6 percent.”

Now, when President Trump is threatening to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities with a bunker busting bomb, some Democrats and sadly some Republicans are trying to hand cuff him. Once again, they want congress to give approval before Trump can act. Fortunately, there is no Senator Biden threatening to impeach him.

This is insane. Both Democrats and Republicans should be united in a demand that Iran never gain access to a nuclear weapon. Iran which has been threatening death to Israel and death to the United States would present a horrific worst-case scenario. So far, nuclear war has been avoided because even worst, Russia was not suicidal. But the leaders of Iran expose views that hint they might even welcome a nuclear holocaust. It is hard to imagine a more irresponsible and dangerous decision than to risk letting Iran get a nuclear weapon.

Iran must be stopped from getting a nuclear weapon. If not now, when? If not by Donald Trump, who? Gavin Newsom? Pete Buttigieg? Kamala Harris? AOC? Hakeem Jeffries? Please. Winston Churchill once said that the most unethical decision he could have made was to let Hitler win World War II. The cost of defeating Adolph Hitler was beyond catastrophic, but the cost of losing to him would have been much worse. Yet, even Hitler, did not have access to an atomic bomb and the ballistic missiles capable to delivering such a bomb.

That is how serious this situation is in Iran. It is why both Republicans and Democrats who think they are wiser than Donald Trump need to shut up. We all better pray he gets this right, because the consequences of Iran getting a nuclear weapon stagger the imagination.
