When we first moved to California, we immediately noticed three things.  One was that we had to pay an outrageous fee to register our car.  California fined us big time for daring to bring in a car that wasn’t manufactured to California emissions standards.  The second was that there are a significant number of seriously unglued people living here.  Shortly after we arrived, there was the harmonic convergence.  I will let Wikipedia explain:

Rex Tillerson will be confirmed as Secretary of State Wednesday. His biggest challenge was going to be draining the State Department swamp of entrenched bureaucrats who consider themselves the true State Department. Secretaries of State and Presidents come and go, but the bureaucracy remains. This is true in every department of government, but none more so than the State Department. Up until now, it was nearly impossible for a Secretary of State to really change much. It is nearly impossible to fire a bureaucrat. But there is an important exception. Incredibly, 900 idiots at the state department just signed their name to a memo disagreeing with a direct order by the President of the United States. Tillerson would have spent a lot of time just trying to identify these people and it would have been difficult if not impossible to get rid of them. With one memo, they have not only identified themselves they have given him clear legal grounds to fire them.

This is the problem for liberals.  They ignore facts, including inconvenient facts such as their previous position on the same issues.  The difference between Trump and his liberal opponents really boils down to one thing.  Trump does what he said he would do and he doesn’t really care what liberals think about it.  While he will fight back on twitter, he never allows unjust and irrational criticism to deter him from his mission.  His mission, incredibly, is to do exactly what he said he would do.

In the ultimate irony, while liberals are dazed, outraged and confused, the American people seem to understand this pretty well.  One would think that a President savaged by the MSM, Hollywood and grandstanding Democrats including FORMER President Obama would be shredding public support.  Instead the opposite is happening.  When anyone bothers to ask people outside of the class of clowns they are shocked to discover that most people agree with Trump.  Yes, we have sympathy for the 12 year old girl trying to get out of Yemen, but we also have sympathy for the people killed in Orlando and San Bernardino by Muslim terrorists.  It is insanely stupid to believe that there is no threat from Muslim terrorist trying to sneak into the country as refugees. They have literally promised to do exactly that and they have been far too successful in Europe.  It is even more stupid to believe that the Obama administration had thoroughly vetted those thousands of refugees.

The MSM is brilliant at finding the showcase immigrant obviously above suspicion.  They are willfully blind to the threat of terrorists willing to pay any price to inflict damage on us.  Are they really too stupid to realize that people who will film their children wearing suicide vests and cutting the heads off Christians can look a lot like a normal family to the uninformed?  Are they really too naïve to understand that the real threat does not come from those look like role models for Terrorist GQ.  It is the ones who do not look like a threat that is most dangerous?  Sadly, they are exactly that stupid.

This report is from the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. California is underfunded by about $1.2 trillion (yes trillion) necessary to fund the retirement tab for state and local employees.  Since the total revenue for the state is about $123 billion per year, this means there is zero chance the state can pay these benefits.  Even if they took every dime the state collects for the next 10 years, it would not be enough to cover the deficit.  They can’t even hope to pay the deficit they admit is there, let alone the actual deficit revealed in this report.  What could make this worse?  Easy!  Imagine these vital funds managed by political appointees, notoriously corrupt, with a mandate to invest in poor performing global warming ventures.  In other words, just when the state desperately needs to be really smart about investing the limited assets available to deal with this, we have the worst possible people in charge.  Does anyone really think this is going to work?

Democrats have been ignoring this storm for decades. Every year the decision is made to kick the can a little farther down the road.  California, unlike the United States Government, cannot ignore the problem by just printing money.  This means sooner, rather than later, the California budget is going to look a lot like Puerto-Rico or Greece and they are going to come to Washington, D.C. with hat in hand begging for a bail out.  Don’t expect President Donald Trump or the Republican congress to feel all that warm and fuzzy about this. How do you think the rest of the country is going to feel about bailing out California so that public sector employees can have their luxury retirement?

The inevitable result is going to be massive cuts to retirement benefits promised to public sector employees, accompanied by massive tax increases on everyone else. This is not going to play well in Peoria or anyplace else.  The blame for this is going to fall primarily on Democrats because the price for absolute power is absolute blame.  Margaret Thatcher once said that liberalism always fails because eventually they run out of other people’s money.  That will happen in California faster than you can blink.

This last election taught us an important lesson.  Barry Goldwater tried to warn us back in 1964, but we did not listen.

How better than to describe this than “conformity” which leads to “despotism.” Combine with a MSM ready, willing and able to ignore the obvious and embrace the ridiculous.  Add in possibly the most corrupt candidate for President in the history of the U.S.; a candidate who openly said that she would appoint a Supreme Court Justice who would focus more on her version of “heaven on earth” than the outdated Constitution.

We dodged a bullet here.  But this victory will be short lived if we fail to recognize the threat.  Liberals are not going to leave quietly.  We have not been at war with them, but they have most definitely been at war with us.  If we do not defeat them, they will never stop until they have replaced our democracy with tyranny.  They have no interest in compromising with us or even tolerating us.  This may be our last chance to restore the rule of law, separation of power and true liberty for all.

But that is only possible if we come to grips with a cold hard truth.  Liberals can never again be trusted with power.  We cannot compromise with those who simply do not accept our most basic values.  We dare not even attempt to negotiate with those who are only interested in destroying us. We must defeat them.  We must defeat them by appointing judges, at all levels, who will honor the constitution.  We must defeat them by putting in fair election reforms that guarantee free elections where every eligible citizen has an equal chance to vote and every vote has equal value. Those who do not believe in voter fraud are simply not paying attention to places like New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Are we really naïve enough to believe that 81% of the people in New York City voted for Barack Obama and 79% voted for Hillary Clinton?  The only place(s) on this earth where one candidate gets that kind of majority vote is a dictatorship and a metropolitan area run by a Democratic machine.

The only thing necessary for evil to succeed is for good people to do nothing.  You’ve been warned.

The DOJ Inspector General has been given the assignment of investigatiing broad allegations of misconduct involving the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton.

This is an obvious effort by the Obama administration to sweep the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal under the rug and throw James Comey under the bus. The marching orders are obviously designed to do exactly that:

The Obama administration is so convinced that Russia intervened in our election that he kicked out 35 diplomats and announced new sanctions. The story was always suspicious. Even the Rolling Stone noticed:

There were more. They not only disagreed with our intelligence services, they literally laughed at them. Then Sean Hannity secured and interview with Julianne Assange, who runs WikiLeaks. Assange, who actually released the e-mails, said they weren’t from Russia. And then he said that John Podesta’s password was “password.”

Notice that the MSM has totally moved on from the Russia hacked the election mode. They never admitted the entire story was a hoax, they just moved on to the next anti-Trump story. The latest is that Trump won’t be able to handle tough questions at a news conference. This, of course, was on a show anchored by Don Lemon. That would be the same Don Lemon who got drunk on the air New Year’s eve, got his ear pierced live on national television, screamed about getting blood on his shirt and then had his mic cut off by CNN when he started going on a drunken rant.

Just when you though it could not possibly get any worse, it got worse. The liberal left is literally melting down life on TV. CNN, the most trusted name in NEWS, got beat in the ratings last year by HGTV. Liberal Democrats, led by Senator Chuck Schumer are threatening to delay hearings on eight cabinet appointments until March and to block ANY Supreme Court nominee by Trump. This is a huge mistake and it is another reminder that Democrats are incapable to accepting election results they don’t like. They are missing something really important. Republicans didn’t just win the Presidency, the House and the Senate last November. They have been decimating Democrats across the country. The following two graphs tell the tale.

Obama is famous for lecturing anyone who dares disagree with him.  He is also famous for doing actually nothing to back up his threats.  Up until now the world has just ignored him and giggled privately.  However, with this idiotic hissy fit throwing out some Russian diplomats and proposing sanctions he can’t possibly enforce, he has violated an important rule.  “It is better to stay silent, and be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and prove it.”  Russia is literally laughing in his face and saying they will wait until he is replaced by an adult.

We should all be concerned that Obama will do something drastic to try and remain somewhat relevant.  He is clearly frustrated that in less than three weeks he will be totally out of power.  He is desperately trying to influence things after he walks out the door.  He is flailing madly and just embarrassing himself.  This is like a really bad act on America’s Got Talent that tries to keep on performing long after all four judges have pushed their buzzers.  If Democrats are not embarrassed by this, they aren’t paying attention.

Obama is accusing Russia of interfering in our election by releasing private e-mails from the DNC.  No one disputes that these are real e-mails, Democrats are just pissed that the attempted Obama cover-up failed to work.  In effect, Russia apparently interfered in our election by exposing the truth about Hillary Clinton.  This is like the guy who is caught robbing a bank on video filing a protest against the surveillance company for invasion of privacy.  Good luck trying to get a judge or jury to buy that nonsense.

One would note that hacking the DNC computer system is not actually a threat to national security.  Does anyone seriously think that the U.S. is not trying to hack Russian communications?  Come on!  The U.S. literally sent a submarine into the Black Sea to put a wiretap on Russian communication cables.  We tapped everything they said for years.  We can be certain every country capable of spying on other nations is doing exactly that.  The Russians, sadly, may be doing a better job than us, but it is silly to pretend we aren’t playing the same game. Hillary personally tried to interfere in Russia’s election when she publicly questioned the integrity of Russian parliamentary elections in 2011.

What really happened here is that the DNC was embarrassed in the worst possible way.  They were caught red handed (pun intended) stealing the primary election from Bernie Sanders.  They were exposed as being incredibly stupid. The Russians didn’t exactly pull this off with some sophisticated electronic hack.  They sent fishing e-mails that should have been recognized by eight year old.  Senior Democrats, like John Podesta, took the bait; hook, line and sinker and gave away their user ids and passwords.  Brilliant!

A lot of people are expressing fear that Putin will dominate Trump.  The evidence is clear that the opposite is happening.  Putin made some noise about racketing up his nuclear arsenal.  Trump shut him down with the following twitter:

John Kerry burst on the political scene by lying under oath, before congress, falsely accusing his fellow Vietnam Veterans of routinely committing war crimes.   This was after he committed treason by trying to negotiate a personal peace treaty with representatives of the Viet Cong.  He was just getting started. For decades he has brilliantly combined all the worst possible elements in one shallow, arrogant, incompetent soulless politician.

Seldom, in the history of this country, has one man accumulated so much wealth and power to so little effect. I would pause, in fairness, to list his accomplishments, if any were to be found.

The liberal left praises John Kerry for the Iran Contra investigation. They leave out something really important. Senators John Kerry and Tom Harkin visited Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega in 1985.  Neither noticed or cared that the Sandinistas were communists, with close ties to Cuba.  They were not concerned that Russia was supplying the Sandinistas with no cost armaments including the MI-24 attack helicopters (Hinds) and MI-17 transport helicopters.  They didn’t care that the Contras were seeking free elections and Democracy.  Democrats were determined to prevent the United States from providing any assistance to the Contras.  The result was the Boland Amendment designed to guarantee that the Contras went down to defeat with no help from the U.S.  How dare this country stand up against communism!

In the 1986 fiscal year, Congress approved $27 million in aid for the contras but stipulated that none of it could be spent on weapons. The Administration was explicitly permitted to solicit contra aid from other nations, but only if that aid was not used to buy weapons. In November of that year, Congress also said the C.I.A. could share intelligence with the contras.

President Ronald Reagan, who believed our national security was at stake, told National Security Advisor Robert McFarlane:  “I want you to do whatever you have to do to help these people keep body and soul together.”

The result was the Iran Contra fiasco where the CIA, in a desperate attempt to help the Contras with zero assistance from congress, turned to highly unethical and irresponsible choices.  Democrats never considered the possibility that the most unethical thing Ronald Reagan could have done was to abandon the Contras and let the Sandinistas win.

Democrats, led by John Kerry, rejoiced at the opportunity to investigate those who were fighting the war against communism. They never considered the reality that the only reason the Iran Contra scandal was necessary was because Democrats were willing to sacrifice national security on the altar of partisan politics. In the end, to the shock and horror of the liberal left, the Contras won in spite of the best efforts of liberal Democrats like John Kerry and the Sandinistas were defeated in free elections.

Today, John Kerry gave what is probably the dumbest and most irresponsible speech ever by a Secretary of State.  He not only stabbed the nation of Israel in the back, he arrogantly explained exactly why liberal Democrats can never be trusted with national security.  The Palestinian Liberation Organization has zero interest in peace, it won’t even acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. If you ask the PLO what they want the answer is always the same; they want Israel to be annihilated.  There is none so blind as he who will not see.

The good news here is that the John Kerry era will be over January 20, 2016. I wonder how long before CNN notices.

How many people realize that Russia was a Republic? The Russian Republic took over after the abdication of Czar Nicholas II on March 15, 1917. It was intended to be a provision government that would pave the way for a Democracy. It was composed of highly respected moderates. So what happened? The answer quite simply is that the communists never considered sharing power. As soon as the provisional government took power, the Petrograd Soviet of Workers’ and Soldier’s Deputies issued Order No. 1 which ordered Russian armed forces to ignore the new government.

Technically the Petrograd Soviet pledged loyalty to the Provisional Government, but only when it agreed. The provision government wanted to appease everyone. It gave amnesty to political prisoners. But it was stupid to give amnesty to people like Lenin, Trotsky and Zinoviev. Lenin has been out of the country since 1900. As soon as he arrived back on Russian soil he began his plot to take over. By November 8, 1917 the Council of the People’s Commissars established a Bolshevik government. It was called the people’s government but it was actually a dictatorship.

The lesson here is that radicals believe in democracy only when they win. They have zero interest in sharing power. If Hillary Clinton had won this election, Democrats would be setting the table to take complete control. Hillary would have appointed liberal Supreme Court justices and the result would have been nothing short of shredding our constitution. Laws, passed by congress, that were not viewed as politically correct, would have been declared unconstitutional. Liberals would have taken complete control of the country. But, miraculously, Hillary did not win.

In spite of massive support by the main stream media, a $1.2 billion campaign and blatant attempts at voter fraud, Donald Trump won. Democrats are just now realizing the totality of their defeat. Even though some desperate radicals are still trying to dispute the election, it is over. They tell you they are afraid of Donald Trump, but they are mostly afraid of a return to democracy. They are truly terrified of a voter ID and limiting the election to one vote per registered voter. But what they fear most is a return to honoring the constitution that has kept us free for since 1789. They are absolutely terrified that Donald Trump will appoint a Supreme Court justice ready, willing and able to uphold the constitution.

They have already tried a ludicrous recount in the idiotic belief that people really didn’t vote against Hillary. Now, they are trying to blame the failed election on Russia. Seriously? Russia? If Russia did impact this election, it was only by allowing the inconvenient truth to surface. Incredibly, in a last minute desperate attempt to stop Donald Trump, some Democrats are literally suggesting the Electoral College be briefed with regard to the alleged Russian intervention in a pathetic hope that somehow, miraculously, Hillary Clinton will still win this election. They are hopelessly naïve. Even if Donald Trump was denied the Presidency, at this point, Hillary will never be President. Even the pathetic Republican establishment is not that stupid. There is zero chance that Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the United States. The best liberals can even hope for at this point is a President Mike Pence or a Mitt Romney.

We dodged a real bullet here. I do not know if Donald Trump will be a great or even a good President. I just know he stopped Hillary Clinton and perhaps that is more than enough. It will not end here. True, liberals are being bounced from power all over the world. But, victory celebrations are always short and the danger remains. Sleep well tonight; the victory of Donald Trump has bought us valuable time but remember the Russian Republic. The enemies of democracy never give up and they will never, ever consider really sharing political power.
