One of my favorite expressions is: “never assume malice when mere incompetence is a satisfactory explanation.” (This actually dates back to Hanlon’s Razor) Over the past two years we have watched the MSM in a full court press to destroy Donald Trump. That was particularly true if you watched CNN or MSNBC. Every story was produced with the intention of slamming Trump. Actually, they were designed to remove him from office. There were no exceptions. Under the circumstances, assuming malice seems logical. But lately there have been signs that this was more about incompetence than malice. That does not mean that these individuals don’t hate Trump, they do, the question is where to place the majority of the blame for the results.

Consider the following. Even if the MSM hates Trump, one would think they wouldn’t report a story that could easily be disproved. That would be beyond embarrassing. Yet, they did exactly that. This causes me to suspect they actually believed what they are reporting. It is important to know that the MSM resides in the East Coast Bubble. They all know each other. They often forget the rest of the country even exists. They all associate with each other. Even people in different parties who disagree on every issue often socialize. That is because membership in the club is more important than ideology. Hence the trap. They never dreamed that Trump is actually a man with great personal discipline. Everyone in their circle was more than willing to believe the worst about Donald Trump. After all, he clearly is not and has never been a member of the club. This isn’t even close. Even RINO Republicans like Jeff Flake were convinced that Trump was capable of colluding with Russia. He certainly was not, like them, up to the job of being President of the United States. Hillary certainly believed Trump would collude with Russia because that is what she was doing. Why would she suspect Trump of resisting the temptation?

There is strong evidence that several people tried to set Trump up. Here is what Barr actually said:

“But, as noted above, the Special Counsel did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, DESPITE MUTLIPLE OFFERS FROM RUSSIAN-AFFILIATED INDIVIDUALS TO ASSIST THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN.”

Suddenly the light bulb went on. One reason they were so sure that the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia is that they knew there had been multiple offers from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign. They knew this because they were in on the plot. There were people trying desperately to lure the Trump campaign into a trap. A classic example of this was the famous meeting with Donald Trump, Jr. in the Trump tower. That female Russian attorney involved met with Fusion GPS both before and after that meeting. The real shock is that the Trump campaign did the unthinkable. They just said NO.

This would explain why so many were so willing to believe that Mueller would find evidence of collusion. They were sure someone, somewhere would yield to temptation. This would explain the absolute shock to learn there was no such evidence. The very last thing they expected was for the Trump campaign to do the right things for the right reason. The Trump campaign never considered colluding with Russia because that would be unthinkable. Liberals never consider doing the right thing for the right reason so they cannot even grasp that thought process.

Phase two, the fall back strategy, was to use the Special Counsel investigation to lure Trump into obstruction of justice. They knew Trump would be royally pissed. They know he has a temper and appears to make rash judgments. Once again they underestimated the man. Yes, he has a temper. Yes, he does react with anger. But, he never loses control. There are numerous examples where Trump was furious with members of his cabinet, but he has always acted responsibly. Perhaps Michael Cohen explained this best when he said Trump would NEVER ask anyone to do something illegal. He would find a way to let you know what he wanted, but he would never cross that line. That shows a man who is very determined, but also a man who understands risk. In other words he may say things that appear to be rash, but he never actually acts rash. Even when most angry, Trump never actually loses control of his emotions. The result is that the plan of luring him into obstruction of justice also failed. Again, they were sure this would happen because they simply failed to understand this man.

In any event, this is obviously a case of extreme malice and also a case of gross incompetence. My guess is that Donald Trump is extremely thrilled to have such incompetent opponents. We as a country should be relieved because very few people would have had the personal discipline necessary to withstand this kind of assault, without making a critical mistake and without backing down. It is increasingly clear that liberals planned a coup to remove the President of the United States. He not only did not fall victim to the coup, he is now turning the table on his opponents. Sometimes incompetence is a beautiful thing.

Alfonse “Little Al” D’Arco died earlier this month. Most people do not know much about him. Part of that is for very good reason. He was in Witness Protection for decades.  D’Arco was the first mobster to flip sides and become an FBI informant. He was not the last. He broke the cone of silence and several other Mafia insiders turned state’s evidence resulting in the government take down of the New York Costa Nostra.

This story has been repeated on many occasions. There is a cone of silence around a lot of powerful people. One of the most entertaining was the downfall of Tiger Woods. In addition to being considered one of the greatest golfers in history, he was thought to be a man of character. He appeared to be a happily married man. That all changed when his wife chased him down their driveway with an 8 iron because she found out she had been cheating on her. Within hours all these other women came forward and the Tiger Woods man of character myth evaporated overnight. We will never know how much this affected his golf game, but he has never been the same since.

The pattern was repeated with Harvey Weinstein. There are many other examples in history. All it takes is one person to break the cone of silence and others seem to quickly follow. Today, we saw someone expose the incestuous relationship between the DNC and the MSM.  The story itself is about a minor situation. Reporter Yashar Ali, who writes for the Huffington Post and New York Magazine learned about the dates for the first 2020 DNC Primary debate. He was shocked and surprised when Dafna Linzer, managing political editor for MSNBC and NBC news called him and asked him to hold the story for an hour so the DNC could get out in front of this.

Ali realized that Linzer was not calling on behalf of her network(s) she was calling on behalf of the DNC. Although the story was no big deal, he described her actions as highly inappropriate and unethical. I can’t recall anyone outing one of the networks like this before. Anyone who watches CNN, ABC, CBS, ABC, NBC and MSNBC and is paying attention realizes that they often say exactly the same thing with regard to any story and this verbiage comes directly from DNC talking points. Whether intentional or not, Ali exposed the level of coordination.

It is important to understand the timeline. He called the DNC and told them he was going with the story. They asked him to delay this for an hour. He said no. Dafna Linzer called him within two minutes. She said she had received a call from the DNC and she tried to bully him into delaying the story. Talk about speed dial. She then asked for his editor’s name, so she could go over Ali’s head and try to block the story that way.

He wrote that some people will twist this to discredit the media and say this shows they collude with political parties. He is right about that, but there is no twisting necessary and the MSM only colludes with the DNC.

I suspect there may be a lot of Yashar Ali type people out there. These are good honest people, in many cases very liberal, but they are appalled to realize the MSM has been colluding with the DNC to lie to everyone. Prior to now, they all knew about this, but were afraid to even admit it to themselves. They feared the establishment in the MSM just like D’Arco and others were terrified of the Costa Nostra. After all, the people making these decisions, much like Harvey Weinstein, can make or break careers. But history teaches us that once someone gets up the courage to report something like this, others are sure to follow. The real danger for the establishment in the MSM may not be Donald Trump or supporting Republicans. It may be people like Yashar Ali who recognize that something is really wrong and they develop the courage to do something about it.

The establishment in the MSM has been around forever. Much like the establishment in the Democratic Party has been around forever. But most of the people currently running for the Democratic Party are anything but establishment players. There is now a mad scramble to fill the obvious leadership vacuum. We are likely to see a very similar pattern in the MSM. Quite frankly a lot of people who should have known better have egg all over their face. While bias will be tolerated and perhaps encouraged, pure incompetence is never welcome. This was an incompetent as it comes. Don’t be all that surprised if a whole new generation of news reporters, with the same outlook at Yashar Ali, seize the day. This is impossible to predict but may be very fun to watch.

Incredibly the Jusse Smollett scandal just got worse, a lot worse. At best this is a case of monumental stupidity. At worst a botched conspiracy coming off the rails. This is a classic case where truth is far stranger than fiction. The conspiracy theories are incredible. These are not necessarily without merit. It is crucial to check out the time line. This is so bad even NPR is reporting on it. Here is their timetable of events:

They left out a couple of things. On February 14, 2019, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker and Tim Scott introduced an Anti-Lynching bill. There actually have been no known lynchings for a long time. I believe the last one was in 1986. So why the rush? This bill added a new definition to lynching to include attacks based upon the gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability of any person. Sound familiar? This was already a hate crime. With this new legislation, if two or more people are involved it is a “lynching”. Was it a coincidence that Jusse Smollett tied a rope around his neck?

How convenient for Kamala Harris that the famous Jusse Smollett interview on ABC was conducted on February 13^th, just before this legislation was introduced. Who could deny the need for this legislation in view of what happened to Jusse Smollett. Another incredible coincidence. It is entirely plausible that two white guys wearing MAGA hats were lurking on the streets of Chicago during -10 degree weather just hoping a gay actor would happen by. To anyone with an ounce of objectivity this looked like a hoax from day one. To CNN, it was the crime of the century.

Democrats were desperate to do something, because it was Trump who got criminal justice reform passed. If this was a conspiracy, it wouldn’t be exactly the first time Democrats did something like this. Obama and Hillary Clinton had, falsely, claimed that a majority of guns used in Mexico came from the U.S. That was obviously not true, because Mexican police weren’t finding American guns in Mexico. In another remarkable coincidence Fast & Furious fixed that problem. ATF officers looked the other way so guns could actually be transferred from the U.S. to Mexico. They were predictably used to commit crime and a U.S. Border Patrol agent was killed by one of these guns.

The Obama administration did a big “I told you so.” This was supported by Attorney General Eric Holder, who lied to congress about it. His lie was so obvious that on June 28, 2012 the House voted to cite Eric Holder for Contempt of Congress. The vote was 255 to 67 with 108 Democrats abstaining. They didn’t dare vote against it, because it was so obviously true, so they stormed off the floor in protest against, you guessed it, the NRA. Incredibly it was so bad that 17 Democrats voted with the Republicans.

We do not know what happened here and unlike liberals we do not want to make accusations without any supporting evidence. We just point out the obvious. Smollett made a false, patently absurd, allegation of a hate crime. The liberal media and the usual suspects immediately seized the day for political advantage. Then they were shocked to learn that it was not only a hoax, Smollett was beyond sloppy and left a trail of evidence. This was so bad that he was charged with 16 felonies. No one even pretended to believe him. Something had to be done!

The head of the Cook Country State Attorney’s office is Karen Foxx, who was receiving texts from Michelle Obama’s former Chief of Staff asking her to do something. When this was pointed out, she said she would recuse herself. But, if she did that she would have had to appoint a Special Prosecutor. So she didn’t actually recuse herself, she let her chief deputy announce that charges had been dropped and the file wiped clean. This same deputy gave a statement admitting he knew Smollett was lying. This stunk so bad that the Chicago Police Chief went crazy and even Rahm Emanuel stood up there and supported him. It was an easy decision, when you think about it. Rahm could either call Jusse Smollett a liar or he could call his his own police chief a liar. Even Emanuel is too smart to get that decision wrong.

I am sure there is an innocent explanation for this and if you tune into Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon tonight you will learn all about it. Some people may actually believe it. Most people won’t. Fewer will buy it today than yesterday. Fewer still tomorrow. Virtually no one will buy this nonsense by this time next week, with an exception for some current cast members of Empire and Mark Geragos.

But what about that Russian collusion?

Something rotten is brewing in Chicago. That should not surprise anyone, Chicago has been a sea of corruption for a long time. As soon as the case broke, Cook County State’s Attorney Karen Foxx was asked to bring in the FBI to conduct the investigation. The Chicago police rebelled, and she recused herself from the case.

Today, that same Kim Foxx announced that all charges against Smollett would be dropped:

“After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the city of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case.”

His record was wiped clean and all the records sealed.

There are a lot of clues that Barack or Michelle Obama was involved in this.  Jusse Smollett’s sisters worked for Obama. There is a video of Jusse Smollett and Michelle Obama dancing to “You’re So Beautiful.”

This stinks to high heaven. This is what a cover-up looks like. It is beyond obvious what happened. The real question is why? Karen Foxx had already recused herself and this decision will be highly criticized. There will be a ton of publicity. There are reports that the Chicago Police Department is beyond furious. Is Jusse Smollett really worth that? Did this happen just because the Obama’s consider him to be a friend? That seems unlikely. It seems more likely that someone was terrified at what Smollett might say if he was forced to testify under oath during a criminal trial. It must be beyond bad because it would have made a lot more sense to just let him cop a plea deal and move on. Instead Smollett is still pretending he just told the truth. That is the most unbelievable thing of all.

My favorite response is the following from Mark Geragos. That would be the same Mark Geragos who was just fired by CNN after being named as a co-conspirator with Michael Avenatti:

Today, all criminal charges against Jussie Smollett were dismissed by the Prosecution. Jussie’s record has been wiped clean. Jussie was attacked by two people he was unable to identify. He was a victim and was victimized again in a rush to judgment. Apologies accepted.

Apologies accepted? Seriously? Stay tuned, there is zero chance this is over.

Michael Avenatti has just been arrested. Mark Geragos has been named as a co-conspirator. (He was fired by CNN today) The people who caught him were federal prosecutors in Manhattan. They set up a sting conducted on March 19^th and caught him trying to extort millions from Nike. The person who announced the arrest was Geoffrey S. Berman, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. That would be the same Geoffrey Berman who recused himself from the investigation into Michael Cohen. He recused himself because that case was a referral from Robert Mueller. This is the same Geoffrey Berman who replaced Preet Bharara. Avenatti is a huge critic of Trump, but Berman didn’t have to recuse himself because this wasn’t a referral from Mueller and the Mueller investigation is over.

There are a lot of people speculating that Federal Prosecutors from the Southern District of New York will now take the lead in investigating everything Trump. Perhaps this should give them pause. If this is any indication, they are more interested in real crimes than the made up stuff reported on CNN.

The Trump campaign sent a letter to CNN. Here is a copy of that letter from Tim Murtaugh:

It details several instances where CNN allowed guests to make what Murtaugh called outlandish and false claims. He is demanding that CNN take action to prevent this from happening again:

The letter is very stunning, primarily because unlike the reporting by CNN, this is so obviously true. Here is a list of the guests and the obvious lies told on CNN with zero pushback from CNN news reporters.

• Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT): “The evidence is pretty clear that there was collision between the Trump campaign and the Russians…” (MSNBC, “All In,” 10/17/18)
• Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA): “I think there’s plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy in plain sight.” (“CBS This Morning,” 8/5/18)
• Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY): “There was obviously a lot of collusion. The question is how high. Every day we – every day – every so often we get new information about involvement.” (CNN, “Erin Burnett OutFront,” 10/27/17)
• Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA): “In our investigation, we saw strong evidence of collusion.” (CNN, “Wolf,” 3/16/18)
• DNC Chairman Tom Perez: “And over the course of the last year we have seen, I think, a mountain of evidence of collusion between the campaign and the Russians to basically affect our democracy.” (NBC, “Meet the Press,” 4/22/18)
• Former CIA Director John Brennan: “I called his behavior treasonous which is to betray one’s trust and to aiding and abet the enemy and I stand very much by that claim.” (NBC, “Meet the Press,” 8/19/18)

Here is the challenge given to CNN:

“Moving forward, we ask that you employ basic journalistic standards when booking such guests to appear anywhere in your universe of productions.  You should begin by asking the basic question:

“Does this guest warrant further appearances in our programming, given the outrageous and unsupported claims made in the past?”  

At a minimum, if these guests do reappear, you should replay the prior statements and challenge them to provide the evidence which prompted them to make the wild claims in the first place.”

This letter probably went off like a bomb in the CNN Board Room. Actually, it is probably the Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. board that is dealing with this.  CNN is only part of the Turner Broadcasting System. I have dealt directly with board members for a major corporation and I can guarantee that they are not amused. Jeff Zucker is the President of CNN Worldwide. We can be certain that he is being asked some very tough questions, including: “How exactly can we trust you to deal with this?” Remember, Zucker was picked to take over as President of CNN Worlwide in January 2013. That means this happened on his watch. This is at best embarrassing. Few CEOs being asked those kinds of questions by the Board of Directors survive. None survive unless they can convince the board that they are smart enough and mean enough to fix this.

This is just the start. The summary of the Mueller report was only delivered at 4:00 p.m. EST yesterday. However, it is clear that people have been preparing for this day for a long time. A lot of people, including some that will shock the world, are going to be indicted. Did any of you expect the news about Avenatti? The Mueller report cleared the decks for action and this is likely to get very ugly in the blink of an eye. It has already energized people like Lindsey Graham and Kevin McCarthy. Last week, they were still in defensive mode. This morning they smell blood and they are moving in for the kill. The smell of victory is in the air, so is the odor of defeat.

We have seen this many times before. One recent example was the 2004 Boston Red Sox. They Yankees were ahead in the playoffs 3 to 0. They had outscored the Red Sox 32 to 19. The Red Sox were down 4-3 going to the bottom of the ninth in game four. If they lost that game their season was over. Mariano River, the greatest closer in baseball history was on the mound for the Yankees. The Red Sox tied the game and then won it in the bottom of the ninth. They never lost again and won the next three games against the Yankees and swept the Cardinals in the World Series. Victory is a beautiful thing and winning is always contagious. Like I said, victory has 1,000 fathers.

Jusse Smollett reported that he had been assaulted by two white guys wearing MAGA hats and shouting gay smears. The story never passed the smell test. A whole lot of people stupidly believed him and loudly screamed outrage. But Smollett was lying, about everything. It soon became beyond obvious that he not only made everything up, he literally hired people to fake an assault. Even worse, he left a trail of evidence that is impossible to ignore. Those people foolish enough to go public with their support  of Smollett were humiliated. Many of them responded by throwing Smollett completely under the bus. A few people gave weak statements of support but no one, and I do mean no one, even pretends to believe him anymore.

The Mueller case is like the Smollett case on steroids. The FBI started an investigation of Donald Trump, for alleged Russian collusion, even though they knew there was no evidence to support that. Frankly the theory was always absurd. Anonymous sources constantly leaked stories to the MSM, which gleefully ran with them, only to be totally discredited within hours. Yet, they continued to believe. I mean, who could make something like this up? Just like the Jusse Smollett case, this had to be true, right? Even when the evidence against Russian collusion kept piling up, people were too committed to back down. Right up until the end, many who should have known better were still making absurd predictions. John Brennan was predicting criminal indictments of people like Donald Trump, Jr. as recently as two weeks ago.

This continued even after Mueller turned in his report and they learned there would be no more indictments. Some at least feared the worst, but they pretended that somehow Mueller would still save the say. He didn’t. Instead he slammed the door on the entire Russian Collusion theory. He came, he saw and reported that there never was any collusion. That means there never was a legitimate reason to appoint him in the first place. If there is no evidence now, there sure was no evidence then.  This was all a gigantic waste of time. Everyone who bought into this has to feel betrayed. They are heartbroken that Trump not only survived, he triumphed. But most of all they are angry, much in the way those people who stupidly believed Jusse Smollett are angry.

It gets worse. Those people who watched CNN, desperately wanting to believe that Trump was about to be impeached are now confronted with the brutal truth that everything they heard was a lie. They can’t even blame Mueller, because CNN has spent the last two years ‘xplaining’ why Mueller must be allowed to investigate with no interference. Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi begged people to let Mueller do his job. It was Mueller, Mueller, Mueller. They went all in on Mueller and they ended up with less than nothing.

The results will be very similar to what happened to Jusse Smollett. Everyone is pissed at him. Those who believed him are just as angry as those who knew he was lying from day one. The only thing that unites them is their hatred for the person(s) who caused this.

Fox will have a field day. They will show non-stop video of the usual suspects making accusations that in retrospect are absolutely ridiculous. Those people with egg all over their face have few choices. They will continue to be in a state of denial, for a while, but eventually the truth will be beyond obvious. When that happens, they can either own up to their own incompetence or try and throw someone else under the bus. “We believed this because we trusted people who were lying to us.” It’s not our fault. It is unlikely to work but it will be tried.

This is such an enormous fiasco that the day of reckoning is coming. Don’t be surprised if people like Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon find themselves watching CNN by candle light while their replacement talks about the need to be fair and balanced. At best, they will just disappear from public life. At worse, they will become symbols of bias and stupidity. Jeff Zucker may even turn on them, because even he realizes this is a nightmare that won’t go away anytime soon and if he does not blame someone else, everyone will blame him.

Democrats should also be afraid, very afraid of demanding that the full Mueller report be released. Much is the information is likely to be more embarrassing for Democrats than for Donald Trump. The reason for that is that we already know pretty much everything Trump did. Much of the really damaging stuff may hurt Democrats more than Republicans. One would think they would know that, but this is one subject where liberals have been willfully ignorant. The smart move would be to demand disclosure and then make sure it never really happens. Perhaps Nancy Pelosi knows this, because she has already demanded full disclosure while rejecting a closed-door hearing making that possible.

This, by the way, is a standard tactic by Democrats to obstruct information. I do not like Thomas Clapper, but it is important to understand the circumstances when he allegedly lied under oath. Senator Wyden from Oregon asked Clapper a question in open session that involved highly classified information. Wyden already knew the answer. He also knew he should never has asked the question in open session. That left Clapper with three choices. He could tell the truth and be guilty of disclosing classified information. He could lie and deny the information. Or he could refuse to answer, which would have amounted to disclosing classified information. He chose to lie and protect the classified program. The real scoundrel here was Wyden who deliberately did this to Clapper with no regard to national security.

The one thing absolutely certain is that neither Democrats nor their fawning disciples in the MSM will even consider just doing the right thing for the right reason.

Donald Trump inherited a total mess. He had an FBI literally engaged in a conspiracy to remove him from office. His own intelligence agencies like the CIA and the DNI were involved in a plot to spy on his presidential campaign. The MSM was totally against him. Democrats were refusing to accept the results of the election. He was being resisted at every step and in many cases the people he could trust the least were the people he needed to trust the most.

Then, the miracle. The appointment of Robert Mueller. Trump’s enemies rejoiced. Saint Mueller would expose the evil Trump and pave the road to his removal from office. When Mueller hired a cast of hard-core anti-Trump democrats, his enemies could hardly contain their glee. They were so sure that Mueller would get this done that they turned their focus totally on him. He must be allowed to do his job. Democrats even tried to pass legislation prohibiting Trump from firing Mueller. If there was any shred of doubt, that was dispatched when Trump publicly trashed Mueller on a regular basis. If Trump hated him, this proved that Mueller was exactly what was needed. The result was that everyone else backed off and trusted Mueller to do the investigation. Republicans held a couple of hearings, but they accomplished nothing. It was Mueller, Mueller, Mueller and it was only a matter of time before Trump felt the noose tightening around his neck.

Then, after two year, Mueller ended his investigation, and there is not even a hint of collusion with Russia. There is no indictment of Trump or anyone really close to him. Manafort and Cohen were both indicted for crimes that had nothing to do with Trump. Cohen did plead guilty to a campaign finance violation by paying off Stormy Daniels, but it is questionable as to whether or not, if true, this is even a crime and if it was a crime the maximum punishment would have probably been a weekend of house arrest. The MSM was too busy rejoicing to notice.  Several Russians were indicted, but none of them are likely to show up for trial and not only did the indictments not mention Trump, they didn’t mention ANY Americans. Now Mueller has turned in his report and there will be NO FURTHER INDICTMENTS. Hope is fading fast.

Liberal Democrats and the MSM, having gone all in on Mueller are standing there with nothing but egg on their face. They are still in the denial stage, hoping and praying that somewhere in time there is some document unearthed by Mueller that will save the day. But the reality is that if such evidence existed, Mueller would have issued an indictment. Wise men know this, CNN not so much.

In the meantime, John Huber and Michael Horowitz have been conducting far more serious investigations in total secrecy behind closed doors. The MSM doesn’t have a clue about what is coming, because they have been all in on Mueller. So, at the same time they are confronted with the reality that Mueller has less than nothing, we are likely to start seeing indictments that will shock their world.

Some have figured this out, which is why they had trouble restraining tears while reporting on this last night. Others will continue to rant and rave pretending the Mueller report still contains a well-hidden rainbow. Earth to Schiff, there is no rainbow, there never has been a rainbow, there never will be a rainbow. It only existed in your own deluded mind.

At some point, the following will become increasingly obvious. Regardless of why and how Mueller was appointed, he did save the day, but for Donald Trump, not his enemies. Instead he lured Trump’s enemies into a false sense of security which may ultimately prove to be fatal.

The perfect storm is on the way. The damage will be unprecedented. No one will pay a higher price than those too blinded by their own hatred to see the gathering clouds.

The MSM, led by CNN, has been desperately praying to the God they don’t think exists that the Mueller Report will savage Donald Trump. They also hope and pray Mueller will find evidence of collusion and indict someone for that, but deep down they know this will never happen. But they still dream of Mueller pulling a Comey, where he announces that Trump is guilty as sin but he just doesn’t have enough evidence to indict. That isn’t going to happen either. If they were paying attention, they would already know this. Rosenstein told them exactly how this works. Mueller won’t say crap about anyone or anything unless they are indicted. He won’t even comment on his findings. He will simply say we found these crimes, we indicted people and we have convictions. If you have any questions, read the court docs.

His report to William Barr will provide details on the investigation. Those details will NEVER be released to the public or even to congress unless someone was charged with a crime. If anyone on Mueller’s team or in the DOJ releases those documents, without authorization, they will be charged with a felony. William Barr will not release the details because to do so would violate the law and DOJ policy. There will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth by the usual suspects. It won’t matter.

The Mueller Report will land with an enormous thud. We will learn nothing more than what we know now, unless someone else is indicted. He will report that no one is charged for anything other than the legal documents filed with a court of law. Democrats, who were praying this would at least lead to other investigations will be horrified. Those who have been demanding that Mueller work without interference will immediately try to interfere. Those who have praised him will now trash him. Trump, who has called this a witch hunt, will thank Mueller for his service and gloat that he is exonerated.

It will soon become obvious to everyone who has been listening to the MSM that they got this all wrong, from day one. That this was, as Trump pointed out on many occasions, a major waste of time. Calling it a witch hunt is actually too generous. At least the witch hunts started with some evidence. While some will still pretend that all of the indictments by Mueller really matter, few will believe them. Only the die-hard KoolAid drinkers will even pretend to agree. Everyone else will just snicker and say: “right!”

In a just world, people like Jeffrey Tobin, Don Lemon, Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper and a cast of thousands should resign in disgrace. If they don’t resign, they should be fired for incompetence. This is beyond embarrassing. This is just plain stupid. Seldom in world history have so many people been so repeatedly wrong and done such incredible damage to so few with such little ammunition. This has always been a joke, based on a lie by people who should never have been trusted in the first place.

Even liberal Democrats and the remaining adults in the MSM will start distancing themselves from the fools. They will have fewer friends than Jusse Smollett and Lori Loughlin. Just think about that. Even the kids Loughlin got into USC by spending massive bribes have turned on her. My favorite is her daughter who said she never wanted to go to college anyway. Ouch! Even SNL is going to start running skits slamming the conspiracy theorists. Odds are someone is already rehearsing for an Adam Schiff type character. I mean this is just too funny to ignore.

The closest thing we have ever had to this moment is when Geraldo Rivera broadcast opening the wall into a room containing nothing other than a couple of empty beer cans in a future search for Al Capone’s secret treasure. The difference is the Geraldo eventually recovered, somewhat. It is hard to imagine anyone taking these clowns seriously on any subject in the future. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool yourself, for years, like I said: “Stuck on Stupid.”

I very seldom watch Fox News and it is rare for me to watch Sean Hannity. It is not that I dislike him, it is rather that he seems to repeat the same show over and over again. However, I have learned that Hannity has connections unavailable to anyone else. I suspect this is because of his total support of Donald Trump from day one. Hannity guessed right about that and he has been rewarded. It was Hannity who got the interview with Donald Trump after the Hanoi summit.

Now Hannity is reporting that indictments are coming with regard to what he refers to as the deep state. He has been promising things regarding this for a long time, but now he is saying action is imminent. It would be wise to pay attention, because Hannity’s predictions have a way of coming true.

In addition, there should be indictments. Even with the limited information already in the public domain, it is obvious there was a conspiracy to remove a sitting U.S. President. We know this from the congressional testimony already released. Even though much of this was redacted and the hearings were predictably chaotic, these were still very informative. We can be sure there is more, a lot more.

The real question at this time is who was involved in this conspiracy. Based on the testimony of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, this goes way beyond these two individuals. It certainly appears to involve Loretta Lynch and there is potential this extends into the Oval office. While liberals are hyperventilating about the possibility of Donald Trump refusing to leave office if he is defeated in 2020, they ignore the increasing evidence that Barack Obama ordered the DOJ, FBI and the intelligence agencies to interfere in the 2016 election. He definitely tried to sabotage Trump’s ability to govern when he announced sanctions against Russia shortly before leaving office. Obama has done everything possible to undermine Trump since leaving office. Contrast that with George W. Bush who refused to say anything negative about Obama when he left office. That continued even when Obama ordered our troops out of Iraq, something Bush warned him not to do, with disastrous consequences. Sadly, now even Bush feels compelled to take shots at Trump, but at least he is much more subtle than Obama.

I do think indictments are on the way. There are several reasons, besides what is reported on Hannity to believe that. One is the way William Barr stood next to the president and strong defended his executive order. Barr looks and acts like a man on a mission. Combine that with the statement by John Huber that he and Barr will hold the offenders accountable. Huber didn’t say anything while Sessions was AG. Perhaps he is speaking now because Barr, unlike Sessions, has not recused himself from the Russian collusion investigation.  Barr has now been AG long enough to have assembled his core team of people he trusts.

There are also hints that the MSM is hearing the same thing. They are starting to quietly back off the Russian collusion thing. Granted the usual suspects on CNN remain oblivious, but the real talent in the MSM is quietly distancing themselves. Even Ted Koppel said that Trump has reason to believe the MSM is out to get him. That was a remarkable admission by someone who knows the difference between a biased perspective and a conspiracy.

This came true faster than I thought possible. There are reports that Gregory B. Craig is about to be indicted. He was Obama’s White House Counsel. He was Bill Clinton’s Director of Policy planning. It turns out he was doing the same type of lobbying for a foreign country as Paul Manafort. As a matter of fact, he was hired by Manafort to write a report on behalf of Yanukovych. Wait, it gets better. He was investigated by, gasp, Loretta Lynch, who decided this was all legal and dropped the case. Sound familiar? Mueller, disagreed. He turned this case, along with Tony Podesta, brother of John Podesta, over to Federal prosecutors in New York. If, and this is a big if, Craig and/or Podesta are actually indicted, there will be more Democrats close to Obama indicted than Republicans close to Trump.

If any of the already public information is correct, there should be indictments. If Trump had been involved, in any way, with the Uranium One deal he would have already been impeached and Republicans would have voted to remove him from office. If anyone remotely close to Trump had sent classified e-mails on a personal server, they would have been prosecuted. The MSM attacked Ivanka and Jared for using a personal e-mail account to send, shock, personal e-mails. Nothing was close to being classified, they forwarded news articles or political commentary.

Now there is a report that the Ukraine is investigating whether Paul Manafort’s private records were released at the request of the Clinton campaign to influence the 2016 election. It gets worse. It is alleged that the U.S. Embassy in the Ukraine played a key role in this. This is more than a little murky, because everything about the Ukraine is more than a little murky.

So, for what it’s worth, here is my prediction. The Mueller report won’t even mention collusion with Russia by anyone. There will be no mention of Donald Trump at all. It will just summarize all the indictments and guilty pleas, pat itself on the back and move on. Democrats will loudly demand everything be released for the same reason they are demanding Trump’s tax returns. They NEED some kind of documentation so they can continue the quest for something resembling a crime by Donald Trump. They at least need something to embarrass him.

I think the spring and summer of 2019 will be filled with indictments and some if not the majority of them will be against democrats. I believe William Barr will expose the conspiracy in the FBI and he will clean house. I suspect John Huber already has cases ready for prosecution. I believe even the MSM will start reporting on this, primarily because it is too big of a story to ignore. A network, without ratings, has no advertisers which means it has no reason to exist. It is increasingly obvious, to the bean counters who count, that trashing Trump on a nightly basis no longer attracts viewers. Even liberals are turned off, because they are sick of the hysteria and wild promises that evaporate overnight.

The last two years were painful, but necessary. There was a desperate need to let the swamp self-identify. That period is now over. The investigation is about to go off the deep end.

We are about to be inundated with ridiculous scientific studies blaming the seriously nasty winter weather on, gasp, climate change. They really mean global warming, but there has been no global warming since at least 2000, so they say climate change. Anyone who questions climate change is too stupid to get admitted to Harvard, unless they have parents willing to shell out about $500k minimum. But, when they say climate change, they really mean global warming, which is why they always talk about climate change raising global temperatures. They still have not figured out that the scientists promoting this nonsense changed from global warming to climate change for a reason. There actually is no evidence of global warming. Climate change, on the other hand, is guaranteed. It is also conveniently impossible to measure or even define. If it is too hot that proves climate change. If it is too cold, that proves climate change. If it is too dry, that proves climate change. If it is too wet, that proves climate change. Everything is caused by climate change and all climate change is miraculously caused by CO2 levels in the atmosphere. By switching from global warming to climate change, actual data is no longer relevant. Nothing can possibly be challenged because whatever happens is always because of climate change. Like I said: Perfect.

If the media reported this with ½ an ounce of integrity, two things would be beyond obvious. The sun has far more impact on our weather than something as minor as CO2 concentrations. Every legitimate scientist knows the “Little Ice Age” was the result of reduced energy from the sun. Look up the Maunder Minimum (1645 to 1715) and the Dalton Minimum (1790-1830). They could hardly have blamed CO2 because this was long before the industrial revolution. The primary source of CO2 during these previous cold periods was what we call exhaling. Every time you breathe, the result is that you exhale CO2.

Ironically we are headed toward another solar minimum, but scientists are too busy pretending we should be terrified of global warming to notice. It is actually pretty obvious that CO2 levels have little if any impact on global temperature. We know this because CO2 levels skyrocketed from 1940 to 1970. That was when the industrial revolution really took off. But, it wasn’t warmer, it was colder. A lot colder. So cold in fact that scientists were predicting another ice age.

It did get warmer, from 1970 to 2000, but that was probably because of increased sun spot activity. Sun spot activity started slowing down again around 1997 and the result has been close to zero increase in global temperature. Now, even NASA, which fully supported the global warming nonsense with falsified information, has noticed that there has been a lull in sun spot activity for about 18 years. The only evidence of global warming came from deliberately falsified data and exists only the delusional minds of the liberal left. NASA recently admitted that our atmosphere is “losing” heat energy and we could be heading toward a period of record cold. Kinda like this winter. Some are even predicting this will return to the Maunder Minimum levels which resulted in it snowing in Boston on the 4^th of July and the Thames River freezing over. Some are saying it could be worse than that.

My prediction is that at some point even CNN will notice that it is actually getting colder. I can also predict that they will blame it on rising CO2 levels and their solution will be to get rid of the coal mines necessary to keep on the electricity. They will caution people to follow the example of Jimmy Carter and wear sweaters around the house while watching CNN by candle light. At some point even CNN may notice that it is hard to watch Cable Non-News without electricity.
