Michelle Bachmann tried desperately to warn us. She sounded the warning bell, but no one listened.
John McCain, as he often does, rushed to the rescue of the wrong person:

“Rarely do I come to the floor of this institution to discuss particular individuals,” “But I understand how painful and injurious it is when a person’s character, reputation, and patriotism are attacks without concern for fact or fairness.”
He referred to Huma Abedin as a “friend” who “represents what is best about America.”
What he did not do is dispute a single fact outlined in Bachmann’s letter. The only mistake Bachmann made is she should have asked a very important question: “How did someone like Huma Abedin get a security clearance?”
I have written several articles about Huma Abedin. I won’t repeat them here, but if you search my blog for “Huma” you will find them. None of this is disputed; it is just ignored.
Now, thanks to the most recent Clinton e-mails, you know the ones she just couldn’t quite locate, we know that Huma Abedin was influencing Obama administration policy and she was doing so with the guidance of her mother:
Huma contacted her mother and asked her to review the draft a speech to be given by Hillary. Her mother said the speech needed major edits and corrections including the removal of reference to “freedom,” “democracy,” and the “empowerment of women.”
The article notes that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has donated at least $10 million to the Clinton Foundation. Anyone recall seeing all those Clinton Foundation trucks helping people out in Houston or Florida? I must have missed that.
What do you call it when a person, close to the Secretary of State is soliciting advice from people who certainly are not our friends and who may be connected to the Muslim Brotherhood? John McCain calls it “the best about America.” I would call it treason.
