The DOJ Inspector General has been given the assignment of investigatiing broad allegations of misconduct involving the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton.
This is an obvious effort by the Obama administration to sweep the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal under the rug and throw James Comey under the bus. The marching orders are obviously designed to do exactly that:
“The review will not substitute the OIG’s judgment for the judgments made by the FBI or the Department regarding the substantive merits of investigative or prosecutive decisions,”
My best guess is that this is the strategy developed by the Obama administration to protect Hillary without having to explain a pardon.
Unless someone or something intervenes, the fix is in:
“Horowitz wrote that he will explore “allegations that Department or FBI policies or procedures were not followed” in connection with both letters, but his probe will extend beyond that. He wrote that he also will explore “allegations that Department and FBI employees improperly disclosed non-public information” — which is perhaps a reference to Giuliani, who seemed to claim at one point he had insider FBI knowledge. And Horowitz wrote that his inquiry will extend back to Comey’s July announcement that he was recommending the Clinton base be closed without charges.”
Just when you think the Obama administration could not possibly do more damage to the country, they do this. Sadly, no one in the MSM will even notice. It will be very interesting to see how Donald Trump responds. Next Friday cannot get here soon enough. The mosting important thing to remember at this point is that in 7 days and 7 hours, Barack Obama will be permanently out of office, totally incapable of this kind of nonsense.
