Barry Bonds was convicted on obstruction of justice.\u00a0 He was not convicted of perjury.\u00a0 He may have lied, but there was not enough evidence to prove that.\u00a0 Instead, the jurors convicted Barry Bonds for giving a BS answer to a question.\u00a0 In the words of the jurors, Bonds told a story rather than answer a clear yes or no question.\u00a0 The link to the story from CBS News is here:<\/p>\n

If the same standard is applied to Obama, he did the same identical thing recently in response to a question from George Stephanopoulos.\u00a0\u00a0 (Most politicians routinely fail this standard.<\/strong>)\u00a0 <\/em>Obama was asked about Trump\u2019s rise in the polls, achieved as a result of riding \u201cfantasies\u201d about Obama\u2019s place of birth.\u00a0 Following is the link to the story:<\/p>\n

Once again, the main stream media starts out by pretending there is no legitimate controversy regarding Obama\u2019s birth certificate.\u00a0 Following is Obama\u2019s response:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that over the last two and a half years, there\u2019s been an effort to go at me in a way that is politically expedient in the short term for Republicans but creates I think a problem for them when they want to actually run in the general election, where most people feel pretty confident the president was born where he says he was, in Hawaii,\u201d Obama replied. \u201cHe doesn\u2019t have horns<\/span>.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It is interesting to note that Barack Obama does not say, \u201cI was born in Hawaii.\u201d\u00a0 Instead, he says:\u00a0 \u201cMost people feel pretty confident the President was born where he says he was, in Hawaii.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0This is strange wording.\u00a0 Most people would say, \u201cI was born in Hawaii.\u201d\u00a0 It is almost as if Obama considers the President to be a different person.\u00a0\u00a0 Weird!<\/p>\n

I have always believed that the real problem is not where Obama was born, but rather the long history of cover-up.\u00a0 If The American Thinker<\/em> article is accurate, it is entirely possible that the birth certificate released by the Obama campaign is a forgery.\u00a0\u00a0 The State of Hawaii has never verified that certificate.\u00a0 Instead, the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health issued two statements, both of which are bizarrely ambiguous.\u00a0 If the birth certificate produced by Obama was accurate, what was the point?\u00a0 Obama had already disclosed every piece of information on that certificate.\u00a0 How could he possibly be damaged by someone verifying information he has already disclosed himself?\u00a0 One very good explanation would be if the State of Hawaii didn\u2019t issue that certificate.\u00a0 Then, even if every bit of information on that certificate, other than the certificate number and date of issue, was accurate, it would still be an illegal forgery.<\/p>\n

Karl Rove said that Donald Trump is a “joke” candidate because he is focused on Obama’s birth certificate.\u00a0 Rove is no fool, but neither is Donald Trump.\u00a0 One of them is really wrong on this one.\u00a0\u00a0 I suspect it is Rove, primarily because Trump probably has access to information that is not available to Karl Rove.\u00a0 If any of the stores about Barack Obama’s background are true, then at some point it will all come out.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Obama continues to \u201cobstruct justice.\u201d\u00a0 The real question is how long people are willing to let him get away with it.\u00a0 My guess is that the end is nearer than we think.\u00a0 If Obama was doing a great job as President, perhaps this might just slide.\u00a0 He isn\u2019t and it won\u2019t.<\/p>\n
