Donald Trump has either lucked into a major political wind, or he has brilliantly maneuvered himself into position.\u00a0 In either case, he has the wind behind his back because he was the first major person in either political party willing to take on Obama with regard to his birth certificate.\u00a0 He is on a roll, he is not letting up, and the pressure on Obama will build exponentially from this point forward.<\/p>\n

phone calls encouraging him to pursue this matter.\u00a0 I would suspect he is also getting a lot of “off the record” assistance from the \u201cClintonians.\u201d\u00a0 Sean Hannity admitted that when he was challenging Obama about his radical past, during the Democratic primary in 2008, he was getting a lot of his information from the Clinton campaign.\u00a0 They were afraid to take this on themselves, because they knew it would result in a charge of racism, so they leaked it to the only person in the media who had the moral courage to take it on.\u00a0 (This is a good reminder that Sean Hannity is a much more important journalist than most people realize.)<\/p>\n The problem for Obama is that he has turned out to be a really lousy President.\u00a0 The Bill Clinton fiasco taught us that as long as people thought he was doing a good job as President, they were willing to ignore almost anything, including perjury.\u00a0 But Obama is staggering from disaster to disaster, looking more incompetent by the hour.\u00a0 The latest was when his Secretary of Defense said that Libya was no threat to us and is not a vital interest to the U.S:<\/p>\n http:\/\/www.upi.com\/Top_News\/US\/2011\/03\/28\/Libya-not-a-threat-to-US-Gates-says\/UPI-96601301295600\/<\/a><\/p>\n Hillary Clinton immediately grabbed the microphone and desperately tried to backfill, but the damage was done.\u00a0 A strong President would have immediately fired Gates.\u00a0 Obama won\u2019t even consider doing that;\u00a0 instead,\u00a0he tried to\u00a0\u201cexplain\u201d to a skeptical public why a peace-loving President is spending billions on a war that doesn\u2019t appear to impact our national security.\u00a0\u00a0 So far, the UN, NATO, and ARAB LEAGUE Coalition (\u201cUNA\u201d) appear to be scoring an easy victory.\u00a0 But, perhaps that is because it is easy to knock off tanks driving in the desert.\u00a0 The\u00a0fight is moving to Sirte, and it is likely to become house-to-house fighting.\u00a0 Gadhafi has a real army, with a real command and control structure.\u00a0 The rebels may pull this off, but this could also turn into a long, bloody stalemate.\u00a0<\/p>\n It is also important to understand that a significant factor in the opposition to Gadhafi is al Qaeda.\u00a0 If anyone has listened to Gadhafi lately, he has been reminding us of that.\u00a0<\/p>\n http:\/\/israelmatzav.blogspot.com\/2011\/03\/gadhafi-im-fighting-terrorists-just.html<\/a><\/p>\n While it is easy to dismiss Gadhafi, there is actually know where reality starts and ends in Libya.\u00a0 At a minimum, this is a lot more complicated than is being reported.<\/p>\n To top it off, Joseph Lieberman went off message by saying we ought to implement a no-fly zone over Syria:<\/p>\n http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2011\/03\/27\/lieberman-suggests-fly-zone-option-syria-violence-escalates\/<\/a><\/p>\n Lieberman has a point.\u00a0 If it was in our national interest to take on Gadhafi, then it is certainly in our national interest to take on Assad in Syria.\u00a0 If anything, Assad is a bigger threat to us than Gadhafi.\u00a0 He certainly is a bigger threat to Israel.\u00a0\u00a0 Since it appears that Hillary, not Obama, is leading this parade, the following article is quite interesting:<\/p>\n that the gaps in Obama\u2019s personal documentation are pervasive.\u00a0 The only thing that even gives pause is the disbelief that this was allowed to happen.\u00a0 Did it really take more than two years after Obama was sworn into office as President of the United States before someone finally said:\u00a0 \u201cshow me the beef?\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0Really?\u00a0 Even Trump ignored this issue until very recently. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n This is not new.\u00a0 In 2001 George O\u2019Leary was hired as the head football coach for the University Of Notre Dame.\u00a0 Five days after he was hired, he had to resign when it turned out that he didn\u2019t actually have a Masters Degree from NYU and that he had never really played college football at the University of New Hampshire.\u00a0 He was exposed by Jim Fennell, from the Union Leader, who learned that no one at the University of New Hampshire remembered George O\u2019Leary playing football.\u00a0 Fennell started cross checking references and it soon became very clear that O\u2019Leary\u2019s story did not add up.\u00a0 (O\u2019Leary is now coach of the University of Central Florida).
