For the past year Democrats and their fawning supporters in the MSM have been trying, and failing, to convince people that January 6th<\/sup>, 2021, was a failed attempt at overthrowing our government led by Donald Trump. VP President Kamala Harris compared this to the December 7, 1941, attack on Pearl Harbor and the September 11, 2001, attack on the World Trade Center. That is patently absurd. Other than the usual suspect talking heads on TV I don\u2019t know of anyone who is even talking about this, including a lot of liberal friends.<\/p>\n

Here is what Joe Biden said today:<\/p>\n

Madam Vice President, my fellow Americans: To state the obvious, one year ago today, in this sacred place, democracy was attacked \u2014 simply attacked. The will of the people was under assault. The Constitution \u2014 our Constitution \u2014 faced the gravest of threats.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Outnumbered and in the face of a brutal attack, the Capitol Police, the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, the National Guard, and other brave law enforcement officials saved the rule of law.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Our democracy held. We the people endured. And we the people prevailed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just a wee bit of exaggeration here. Then, after lecturing us about the need to tell the truth, Biden lied.<\/p>\n

The Bible tells us that we shall know the truth, and the truth shall make us free. We shall know the truth.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, here is the God\u2019s truth about January 6th, 2021:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The he looked right into the camera and lied.<\/p>\n

For the first time in our history, a president had not just lost an election, he tried to prevent the peaceful transfer of power as a violent mob breached the Capitol.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We saw it with our own eyes. Rioters menaced these halls, threatening the life of the Speaker of the House, literally erecting gallows to hang the Vice President of the United States of America.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But what did we not see?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We didn\u2019t see a former president, who had just rallied the mob to attack \u2014 sitting in the private dining room off the Oval Office in the White House, watching it all on television and doing nothing for hours as police were assaulted, lives at risk, and the nation\u2019s capital under siege.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A riot was declared at 1:50 pm. Trump responded at 2:30 pm<\/p>\n

At 2:38 Trump tweeted: “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

At 3:13 Trump tweeted: “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order \u2013 respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

At 4:17 Trump uploads a video to this twitter account saying the following:<\/p>\n

“I know your pain, I know you’re hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don’t want anybody hurt. It’s a very tough period of time. There’s never been a time like this where such a thing happened where they could take it away from all of us \u2014 from me, from you, from our country. This was a fraudulent election, but we can’t play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace. So go home. We love you. You’re very special. You’ve seen what happens. You see the way others are treated that are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel, but go home, and go home in peace.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

At 6:01 Trump tweets: “These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long. Go home with love & in peace. Remember this day forever!”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

One may argue that Trump should have done more, but what Joe Biden said is a lie. A lie told on national television. A lie that is easily discredited. Wise people do not believe people who deliberately lie, particularly about something so material and so well documented. But then, Joe Biden is already famous for this.<\/p>\n

He also lied when he said: \u00a0\u201cRioters menaced these halls, threatening the life of the Speaker of the House, literally erecting gallows to hang the Vice President of the United States of America.\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There was a \u201cmakeshift<\/em><\/strong>\u201d gallows erected, but no one in their right mind could possibly view this as a serious attempt to hang Mike Pence. But then Joe Biden said this, so there you are. Black Lives Matters protestors did put a Donald Trump effigy in a guillotine outside of the White House in August 2020. If Joe Biden noticed, it didn\u2019t consider it important.<\/p>\n

I believe Democrats have made a huge mistake. By exaggerating what actually happened on January 6th<\/sup>, 2021, they have made it impossible to ignore the true significant of this event. The more we learn about this and the events that led up to it, the more obvious it will be who is lying. The more obvious it will be who is the real threat to democracy and the more likely people will become united in demanding this be fixed.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s do have a real discussion regarding what happened on January 6th<\/sup>, 2021. It is about time.<\/p>\n
