<\/a><\/p>\nNow ask yourself one simple question:\u00a0 \u201cWhich represents more hate speech, complaining about a congresswoman voting for Obamacare, in spite of wide spread voter opposition, or considering her DEAD because she didn\u2019t vote for Nancy Pelosi?\u201d<\/p>\n
It is shameful that so many people, all on the left, are trying to exploit this tragedy.\u00a0 Have they no shame?\u00a0 The best way to provide perspective on this case would be consider what would have happened if say, Scott Brown had been shot by someone upset because he voted against Obamacare.\u00a0 The main stream media would have been outraged if someone dared to imply that Democratic complaints about obstructing health care for all\u00a0 was somehow responsible.\u00a0 They would have been quick to point out that this was a deranged individual who was responsible for his or her own actions.<\/p>\n
Once again Republicans have let themselves be put on the defensive by the irresponsible and irrational tactics of the liberal left.\u00a0 What we need is a Republican to show outrage that this tragedy is being exploited for political purposes.\u00a0\u00a0 We need a Republican to say that the exploitation of this incident is exactly the kind of hate speech that both parties need to stop.\u00a0 We need to do what Democrats always do, point out the numerous instances of hate speech from the liberal left and challenge them on their own record.\u00a0 The real danger here is not from spirited political discourse.\u00a0 The real danger is if liberals are able to silence political opposition by the shameless exploitation of this incredible tragedy.<\/p>\n
In case you are interested the Tea Party Express has already responded to this situation.\u00a0 This is spot on.\u00a0 Perhaps that is why they were so effective in the mid-term election:<\/p>\n
This weekend we all were horrified to hear the news of the violent shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and several others in Arizona.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nOne thing that surprised us was how many in the news media and liberal political figures and organizations immediately launched into an attack on the tea party movement – assigning blame for the shooting to our grass roots, Constitutionalist movement in general, and Gov.\u00a0Sarah\u00a0Palin in particular.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nFriends, this is outrageous. \u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nIt is quite clear that liberals are trying to exploit this shooting for their own political benefit, and they used deception and dishonesty to try and smear all of us and our beliefs.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nYou know what the truth is? \u00a0The truth is that the shooter,\u00a0Jared Loughner is the one responsible for this atrocity.\u00a0 But liberals are trying to place the blame on society for embracing the tea party movement.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nWe here at the Tea Party Express find that disgusting and revolting.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nThis isn’t a new concept for liberals. \u00a0Let us harken back to the words of Ronald Reagan when he called out the Left for similar behavior in years past:\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n“We must reject the idea that every time a law’s broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.” <\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n– Ronald Reagan<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nIf Jared Loughner does have a definable political ideology it is that of a far Left anarchist.\u00a0 Loughner is a mentally disturbed young man who sought his ideological fulfillment from the Communist Manifesto – hardly the Bible of the Tea Party movement. He posted videos of flag burning on his YouTube channel – again, antics more consistent with Blame America First liberals, not the tea party movement.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nIn fact, Loughner’s interactions with\u00a0Congresswoman Giffords date all the way back to 2007 when he confronted her with a question he had, and received an answer he found unacceptable. \u00a0You read that right – Loughner’s interactions with Congresswoman Giffords date back to 2007 – well before<\/strong> the tea party movement had even been launched.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nThis was all an effort to try and demean us and diminish support for the tea party movement, since the Left could not beat us at the ballot box. \u00a0Sadly way too many people in the media cooperated with this smear campaign.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nThe media didn’t tell you that the left-wing website,\u00a0DailyKos, had targeted Congresswoman\u00a0Giffords, putting a BULLSEYE on her, did they?\u00a0 But that’s just what happened. <\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nInstead they tried to blame Gov. Sarah Palin. \u00a0Friends, their hypocrisy and double standards are appalling.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nThis kind of media bias is a large part of why our tea party movement exists – because the voices of We The People have not been represented fairly by the news media, and listened to by our elected officials.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nWell guess what:\u00a0 to those liberals in the news media and on the political Left who think you can silence us, you are wrong!\u00a0 Your efforts to try and smear us and shut us up will fail.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nRight on!.\u00a0 I hope the Republican leadership is listening.<\/p>\n
