It is impossible to overstate the level of chaos and self destruction in the Democratic Party.\u00a0 Instead of focusing on what matters, like approving the budget, and extending the Bush tax cuts, they tried to jam through highly controversial legislation, like the Dream Act and repealing \u201cdon\u2019t ask, don\u2019t tell.\u201d \u00a0Then Obama announced that he had reached an agreement with the Republicans without bothering to get approval from his own party.\u00a0 At least you have to give Obama credit where credit is due.\u00a0 He appears to be just as willing to disregard Democrats as he has been willing to ignore Republicans.\u00a0 Democrats disintegrated into a screaming, incoherent mob literally dropping the F bomb on their own President.<\/p>\n

This decision was a good move by Obama, but his incompetence quickly surfaced.\u00a0 He had to give back to back press conferences to try and sell it, because obviously the first attempt failed.\u00a0 Then, instead of embracing the deal as a good compromise, he described it as giving in to the hostage taker Republicans.\u00a0 It is hard to sell a deal when you say it is a terrible deal signed only under duress.\u00a0 In addition to being an unprecedented public display of weakness by a U.S. President, it was incredibly stupid.\u00a0 Finally, in an act of desperation, Obama invited Bill Clinton to come in and help him sell the deal.\u00a0 Obama said he had to go to a Christmas party, so he just walked out and left Clinton to carry on.\u00a0 Even Clinton was shocked.\u00a0 It was pathetic.<\/p>\n

To make things worse, this deal has already been approved by the Senate, with a huge bi-partisan majority.\u00a0 That leaves the Democratic House in a total meltdown.\u00a0 If they pass this bill, they will get no credit and it will be viewed as a major loss.\u00a0 On the other hand, if they don\u2019t pass this bill, everyone will get a huge tax increase, they will get the blame, and Republicans will pass it in January.\u00a0 This is the ultimate lose lose.<\/p>\n

\u00a0While it is always fun to watch Democrats self-destruct, this really isn\u2019t funny at all.\u00a0 We just had a President of the United States publicly give up.\u00a0 Every leader in the world knows that and will respond accordingly.\u00a0 When the going gets tough, Obama gets going, usually to a golf course or a Christmas Party.\u00a0 (Oops\u2026in the Obama White House there are only \u201choliday parties.\u201d<\/p>\n

The following article by Walter Shapiro, who has been an Obama supporter, is very interesting.\u00a0 Shapiro is apparently unaware that most experts don\u2019t believe Obama wrote either of his books.\u00a0 This was confirmed by interviews reported in a very pro-Obama biography.\u00a0 So while Shapiro still believes these books show Obama\u2019s brilliance, his analysis also shows a very troubled individual based on Obama\u2019s own statements.\u00a0 One would suspect that even though Obama probably didn\u2019t write the books, these statements accurately represent his world view.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The result is a curiously detached individual who lucked into the Presidency and while he likes the trappings of the office, does not really want the responsibility.\u00a0 That is why he allowed Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to push through their liberal agenda while he vacationed and played golf.\u00a0 Obama just didn\u2019t care enough to get involved.\u00a0 He showed a remarkable lack of interest in the details of his cornerstone legislation.\u00a0 When confronted with the need to make a major decision, Obama routinely punts.\u00a0 This has been demonstrated many times, with regard to Afghanistan, Iraq and even the BP oil spill.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t know what to do, you just delay until the decision become obvious.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Unfortunately failing to make a decision is a decision, usually the worst decision.\u00a0 Let me give an example.\u00a0 A young boy has a cancerous tumor.\u00a0 The doctor approaches the parents and asks for authorization to amputate the leg.\u00a0 The parents do not want their son to die, but they cannot bring themselves to authorize the amputation.\u00a0 They decide to wait, to ask for more tests, to get another opinion in a desperate search for some option other than making that horrible decision.\u00a0 But, the delay results in the cancer growing, and when they finally decide to approve the operation, it is too late and their son dies.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

At least this time Obama made a decision, but at this point he has almost no credibility.\u00a0 To at least some extent he turned over the Presidency to Bill Clinton, for at least a few moments. \u00a0There are a lot of reports that Joe Biden is going to take a more senior role in the administration.\u00a0 Joe Biden?\u00a0 Please!\u00a0 I do not know what will happen, but this is a very serious problem.\u00a0 While there are constitutional provisions for a President who commits high crimes or misdemeanors and there are provisions if the President is incapacitated and unable to performs the duties of President, what options are available for a President who is simply not up to the job and apparently no longer wants the responsibilities of the job?\u00a0\u00a0 A lot of people were justly worried about Obama\u2019s radical agenda.\u00a0 They should have been more worried about his naivety and inexperience.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Whenever Obama speaks and attempts to explain things, it get worse.\u00a0 Perhaps the only solution is imspeechment.\u00a0 We still let Obama pretend he is President, we just don\u2019t let him speak in public.<\/p>\n

\u00a0We need a President.\u00a0 We have Obama.\u00a0 A significant amount of prayer is appropriate.<\/p>\n
