Something rotten is brewing in Chicago. That should not surprise anyone, Chicago has been a sea of corruption for a long time. As soon as the case broke, Cook County State\u2019s Attorney Karen Foxx was asked to bring in the FBI to conduct the investigation. The Chicago police rebelled, and she recused herself from the case.<\/p>\n

Today, that same Kim Foxx announced that all charges against Smollett would be dropped:<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett\u2019s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the city of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

His record was wiped clean and all the records sealed.<\/p>\n

There are a lot of clues that Barack or Michelle Obama was involved in this.\u00a0 Jusse Smollett\u2019s sisters worked for Obama. There is a video of Jusse Smollett and Michelle Obama dancing to \u201cYou\u2019re So Beautiful<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

This stinks to high heaven. This is what a cover-up looks like. It is beyond obvious what happened. The real question is why? Karen Foxx had already recused herself and this decision will be highly criticized. There will be a ton of publicity. There are reports that the Chicago Police Department is beyond furious. Is Jusse Smollett really worth that? Did this happen just because the Obama\u2019s consider him to be a friend? That seems unlikely. It seems more likely that someone was terrified at what Smollett might say if he was forced to testify under oath during a criminal trial. It must be beyond bad because it would have made a lot more sense to just let him cop a plea deal and move on. Instead Smollett is still pretending he just told the truth. That is the most unbelievable thing of all.<\/p>\n

My favorite response is the following from Mark Geragos. That would be the same Mark Geragos who was just fired by CNN after being named as a co-conspirator with Michael Avenatti:<\/p>\n

Today, all criminal charges against Jussie Smollett were dismissed by the Prosecution. Jussie\u2019s record has been wiped clean. Jussie was attacked by two people he was unable to identify. He was a victim and was victimized again in a rush to judgment. Apologies accepted.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Apologies accepted? Seriously? Stay tuned, there is zero chance this is over.<\/p>\n
