Chuck Todd wanted to come to work today. He was certain that Mueller would issue some bombshell announcement regarding the Trump campaign colluding with Russia. He believes that because he desperately wants that to be true. He also realizes that if Mueller doesn\u2019t do that today, odds are very high he will not do that prior to the November 6, 2018 election. The liberal left needs<\/strong> Mueller to deliver a bombshell before the midterm elections.<\/p>\n

Well it is now 6:30 pm on the East Coast and still no sign of a Mueller announcement. We can be pretty sure that Mueller is not going to make an announcement regarding Russian collusion for one very simple reason. If there was any hint of this, it would have already been leaked to the press long ago.<\/p>\n

The MSM coverage of this borders on lunacy. Bob Bauer, former counsel to Barack Obama said the following:<\/p>\n

“Investigators have the skills and resources to turn up evidence, including witness testimony, that goes\u00a0beyond what anyone on the outside can\u00a0imagine in the daily speculation about the Mueller probe,\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

MSNBC was too excited to notice that what this really says is that Mr. Bauer can\u2019t even imagine what evidence Mueller may have. Obviously, he is unaware of any existing evidence.<\/p>\n

We are very close to the point where the MSM literally starts howling at the moon. The Trump\u2019s legal team says they haven\u2019t heard from Mueller in weeks. They sent Mueller a letter outlining the conditions under which Trump would consider answering questions. There was no response to that letter, which probably means that Mueller doesn\u2019t want or need to interview the president. If Mueller really wanted to talk to Trump he would have at least responded.<\/p>\n

The real bombshell is that there is no bombshell, there never was a bombshell and there never will be a bombshell. No bombshell is remotely possible because the Trump campaign didn\u2019t collude with Russia. The liberal left cannot accept the reality of this because it means Trump is President of the United States, he is going to continue being President of the United States and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s Friday afternoon and the only sound you can hear is from the crickets. It\u2019s a beautiful thing. TGIF<\/p>\n
