{"id":3939,"date":"2018-03-09T15:15:02","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T22:15:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scotshonor.com\/?p=3939"},"modified":"2018-03-09T15:15:02","modified_gmt":"2018-03-09T22:15:02","slug":"the-real-secret-society","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scotshonor.com\/?p=3939","title":{"rendered":"THE REAL SECRET SOCIETY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I was in the service, I had a very high security clearance.\u00a0 Even to this day, I never discuss highly classified information.\u00a0 Neither does anyone else who really knows.\u00a0 It is quite simple.\u00a0 The really important stuff is handled by people who are trained to keep secrets and these things almost never leak.\u00a0 The thing that continues to impress me is how little really classified information is ever leaked.\u00a0 Most of the \u201c<strong>leaks<\/strong>\u201d come from people who don\u2019t actually have access to the facts.<\/p>\n<p>The principle that is followed is quite simple: <strong>\u201cneed to know<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0 Even if someone has the right security clearance, they are not automatically granted access to information.\u00a0 In addition to having the proper clearance they must have a <strong>\u201cneed to know\u201d<\/strong> this information.\u00a0 None of the people I worked with would ever have considered any news source to fit the requirements of a need to know.<\/p>\n<p>The reason I mention this is that recent reports indicate that the FBI has a special team investigating the Clinton Foundation. Attorney General Jeff Session acknowledged this.\u00a0 There are some further details in the report by Sara Carter:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/saraacarter.com\/fbi-interviewed-uranium-one-informant-in-clinton-foundation-investigation\/\">https:\/\/saraacarter.com\/fbi-interviewed-uranium-one-informant-in-clinton-foundation-investigation\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>All we really know is that the FBI interviewed this informant.\u00a0 We don\u2019t know what he was asked and we don\u2019t know what was said.\u00a0 No one really involved in this investigation is likely to leak anything.\u00a0 Even the attorney representing William Campbell did not discuss her client\u2019s testimony; she just refuted the defamatory leaks about her client from Democrats who participated in congressional hearings:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cThe Democratic memorandum \u201cfalsely accuses Mr. Campbell of criminal conduct, alleging that he had taken \u201ckickbacks from [the Russian] firm before he was authorized to do so,\u201d Toensing stated.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cMr. Campbell never took one kickback, not a one,\u201d she added. \u201cHe paid for the kickbacks, under FBI direction, out of the salary he received.\u00a0 In fact, these payments, totaling about $500,000, were the bases for his requesting repayment from the government.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I will add that I am personally familiar with how the FBI works with confidential informants and if Mr. Campbell paid for kickbacks under FBI direction this is certain to be well documented.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that you do not know what questions were asked and that there have been no leaks is evidence that this is a serious criminal investigation being handled by professionals.\u00a0 That makes this very dangerous.\u00a0 Don\u2019t expect any leaks from this investigation.\u00a0 The real professional never leak.\u00a0 The first public release of information is likely to be a news conference to announce criminal indictments.\u00a0 The less you hear the more likely this is a real investigation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>TDM<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When I was in the service, I had a very high security clearance.\u00a0 Even to this day, I never discuss highly classified information.\u00a0 Neither does anyone else who really knows.\u00a0 It is quite simple.\u00a0 The really important stuff is handled &hellip;
