The FBI just discovered that it is missing all the texts between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page for the period from December 14, 2016 to May 17, 2017.\u00a0 At this point everyone is wondering what the FBI is hiding.\u00a0 No one is commenting on something very important.\u00a0 The December 14, 2016 date was when Obama appears to have ordered an investigation into Russian interference regarding the 2016 Presidential election.\u00a0 That Investigation was assigned to the FBI.\u00a0 The people involved were James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Kevin Rybicki, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Bill Priestap and others.\u00a0 These people worked closely together on the top floor at the FBI.<\/p>\n
James Comey was fired on May 9th<\/sup>, 2017.\u00a0 President Donald Trump met with Robert Mueller on May 16, 2017.\u00a0 Rod Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller to be special counsel on May 17, <\/sup>2017.<\/p>\n Almost immediately, someone at the FBI began collecting text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page again.\u00a0 One of the most explosive texts that has been publicly reported was sent by Peter Strzok on May 19, 2017:<\/p>\n \u201cYou and I both know the odds are nothing.\u00a0 If I thought it was likely, I\u2019d be there no question.\u00a0 I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern that there\u2019s no big there there.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Peter Strzok was part of the Russia investigation before Mueller was appointed.\u00a0 He clearly was hesitating to join Mueller\u2019s investigation because he feared it wouldn\u2019t lead to the coveted impeachment of Donald Trump.<\/p>\n Are you sure that Mueller was appointed to investigate Donald Trump?\u00a0 What if he was appointed to investigate the Russia investigation itself?\u00a0 What if he was appointed to investigate the investigators?\u00a0 What better way to expose a secret society of senior FBI agents on a mission to destroy the President of the United States than to put someone in charge who appears to be on their side?\u00a0 How else would anyone ever infiltrate this cartel?\u00a0 We are talking about the very senior people in the FBI.<\/p>\n Mueller has not said one negative thing about Donald Trump.\u00a0 All the news articles about the Mueller investigation are the result of leaks, almost certainly by one of these senior FBI agents.\u00a0 Most of those leaks have been wrong.\u00a0 The only thing we know is that Mueller has indicted a couple of people, but none of the indictments are even remotely connected to the Russian collusion theory.<\/p>\n We know that Jeff Sessions did meet with Mueller\u2019s team last week.\u00a0 But, that team is now missing all the FBI agents who are suspected of being biased against Trump.\u00a0 Neither Sessions nor Mueller is disclosing what was discussed.\u00a0 CNN is assuming this is an investigation of alleged obstruction of Justice by Donald Trump because he fired James Comey.\u00a0 The problem with that theory is that no objective constitutional scholar buys it.\u00a0 There is zero chance that Trump can be removed from office because he fired James Comey.\u00a0 Mueller would be insane to think that he could bring any charges against Trump after his entire team of investigators has been compromised.\u00a0 This seems more likely to be in another long line of cases where CNN is willing to believe any theory that creates the slightest potential to remove Trump from office.\u00a0 They have been wrong, by a huge margin, every single time.<\/p>\n None of us know what Mueller is doing nor why he is doing it.\u00a0 We do know that the White House has willingly given Mueller every document he requested.\u00a0 He has also been granted access to any witness he requested.\u00a0 We don\u2019t know if Mueller met with Sessions to interrogate him or to brief him on results?\u00a0 Jeff Sessions has been completely exonerated regarding any alleged Russia collusion, so his self-imposed recusal may have ended.\u00a0 Note that Sessions has become much more visible lately and he personally ordered the investigation into those missing e-mails.<\/p>\n Now there are leaks that Mueller wants to interview Trump.\u00a0 Every legal expert warns that Trump would be walking into a perjury trap.\u00a0 Yet neither Trump or his legal counsel are acting very concerned.\u00a0 Perhaps they view a meeting with Mueller exactly the opposite of what CNN expects.\u00a0 Perhaps Mueller hasn\u2019t been investigating Trump, perhaps he has been investigating FOR<\/strong> Trump.\u00a0 Does he want to meet with Trump to interrogate him or to brief him on his findings?<\/p>\n I went back and read the actual announcement of Robert Mueller\u2019s appointment by Rod Rosenstein:<\/p>\n \u201cIn my capacity as acting Attorney General, I determined that it is in the public interest for me to exercise my authority and appoint a Special Counsel to assume responsibility for this matter,\u201d said Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein. \u201cMy decision is not a finding that crimes have been committed or that any prosecution is warranted. I have made no such determination. What I have determined is that based upon the unique circumstances, the public interest requires me to place this investigation under the authority of a person who exercises a degree of independence from the normal chain of command.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n This time I read this very differently.\u00a0 What if Rosenstein realized that he had the entire top floor of the FBI investigation let by agents who had direct connections with the Hillary Clinton campaign, who expressed bitter hatred of Donald Trump and who appeared to be on a mission to remove the President of the United States of America.
