Democrats just folded like a cheap umbrella.\u00a0 The government shutdown is over almost before it began.\u00a0 McConnell gave them nothing other than the chance to vote on a DACA bill in the future.\u00a0 That means nothing, because any legislation has to pass both the House and the Senate and the House ain\u2019t drinking the Kool-Aid.<\/p>\n

Republicans know they won and will be energized.\u00a0 Democrats know they lost and will be demoralized.\u00a0 The main stream media knows who won and while they probably won\u2019t ever admit that, they know and it will influence their reporting.<\/p>\n

FOX News is running a documentary on the numerous Clinton scandals.\u00a0 The result is amazing.\u00a0 So far we have only seen installment one.\u00a0 There are five to go.\u00a0 By the time this is done, everyone who lived through this will ask themselves one question:\u00a0 \u201cHow could we have been so stupid?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, to create the perfect storm, the FISA scandal is going nuclear.\u00a0 Senator Ron Johnson sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Friday that contained several bombshells.\u00a0 One is that the FBI apparently failed to preserve numerous text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.\u00a0 Following is a link to that letter:<\/p>\n

In addition to the missing texts, Johnson quoted from several text messages\u00a0already disclosed\u00a0between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page that are absolutely stunning.\u00a0 The bias and corruption we expected.\u00a0 What we didn\u2019t expect was that people who thought they were so brilliant and sophisticated could be so incredibly stupid.\u00a0 Everyone who reads this will immediately hate both Strzok and Page.\u00a0 They basically slam everyone and everything including Attorney General Lynch, FBI Director Comey, and fellow agents Rybicki and McCabe and with the expected snide remarks about Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

\u201cProfessing themselves to be wise, they became fools<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

For example, the last text shows how Lisa Page felt about Attorney General Lynch\u2019s announcement that she would accept the recommendation by the Director of the FBI with regard to Hillary\u2019s e-mail scandal:<\/p>\n

\u201cany yeah, it\u2019s a real profile in couragw (sic), since she knows no charges will be brought.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is beyond bad.\u00a0 In addition to the obvious abuse of power and obstruction of justice, this has to be humiliating to the main stream media.\u00a0 McCabe, Rybicki, Comey, Lynch, Hillary Clinton and a lot of other people will read this with absolute horror.\u00a0 They probably have a knot in their stomach that feels like a 5 pound weight.\u00a0 Time to lawyer up.<\/p>\n

This makes the contemporary reporting by the main stream media look insanely inaccurate.\u00a0 Now the only question is whether the main stream media was willingly complicit or merely incompetent.\u00a0 Either way a lot of people in the main stream media are probably embarrassed and filled with rage.\u00a0 As President Kennedy once said: \u201cVictory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d\u00a0 Even if they agreed with what the FBI and DOJ officials were doing, they must be stunned that this was documented by a chain of silly text messages between two lovers.\u00a0 The only safe move, at this point, is to distance oneself as far as possible from the scene of the crime.\u00a0 Expect a whole lot of people in the main stream media to immediately jump on the get me out of here bandwagon.<\/p>\n

By the way, these were two of Mueller’s top investigators.\u00a0 If he is smart, he will resign.\u00a0 If he doesn’t resign, he will be removed.\u00a0 Either way unless he produces smoking gun evidence of Donald Trump colluding with Russia within about 24 hours it will be impossible to support this investigation any more.\u00a0 Even if he does come up with something, the question is will anyone believe him?\u00a0 I suspect not.<\/p>\n
