We are used to the liberal left and the main stream media getting everything wrong.\u00a0 This time, they made an irreversible error.\u00a0 Following Roger Goodell\u2019s lead, the NFL became unified.\u00a0 The NFL doubled down on this and put on the most disgusting display in the history of America.\u00a0 Every single NFL team, to some extent or another, decided that supporting players who wanted to disrespect our flag was the highest virtue.\u00a0 They decided the NFL matters more than the country. Disrespecting the Flag was okay – disrespecting the NFL was the unpardonable sin.<\/p>\n
It was a colossal mistake.\u00a0 I watched the start of the Monday Night Football game to see what the Dallas Cowboys would do.\u00a0 Jerry Jones was on record as saying he wanted the Cowboys to stand for the National Anthem.\u00a0 What he should have done is stood there on the field, with his hand over his heart, and challenged his players to honor America by joining him.\u00a0 He would have immediately made the Cowboys America\u2019s team.\u00a0 Sadly, he ignored his own instincts and made things worse.\u00a0 He joined them on their knees and then they all stood there with arms linked during the National Anthem.\u00a0 Message received; the unity of the NFL matters more than the unity of the country.<\/p>\n
If you think people were angry before, they are furious now.\u00a0 We have never seen anything like this.\u00a0 The people really are united, but not in their support for the NFL.\u00a0 That odor you smell is of people burning NFL jerseys, including Dallas Cowboy jerseys, this morning.\u00a0 It is mingling with the smoke from other NFL jerseys being burned all over the country.<\/p>\n
