The Trump colluded with Russia myth is now in full meltdown.\u00a0 Those people in the media that refused to abandon this story long ago are about to be embarrassed and humiliated.<\/p>\n

Carter Page has now demanded that he be allowed to testify in a public setting.\u00a0 It is going to be hard for the Intelligence Committees to say no when they agreed to this with regard to James Comey.<\/p>\n

Now that Comey is gone, the attorneys for Carter Page have been in contact with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Special Counsel Robert Mueller and other DOJ officials regarding the multiple outstanding requests for immediate release of \u201cillegitimate\u201d FISA warrants that were allegedly filed by the Obama administration in 2016.\u00a0 They wouldn\u2019t do that unless they already know what is on those FISA warrant applications.<\/p>\n

It is clear that there never was just cause to investigate the Trump campaign. To put this in perspective, listen to the testimony by Brennan.\u00a0 What is missing is a legitimate reason to request a FISA warrant on someone connected with a Presidential campaign during an election:<\/p>\n

\u201cI encountered and am aware of information and intelligence that revealed contacts and interactions between Russian officials and U.S. persons involved in the Trump campaign that I was concerned about because of known Russian efforts to suborn such individuals.\u00a0 It raised questions in my mind about whether Russia was able to gain the cooperation of those individuals.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Why didn\u2019t any of the geniuses on the House Intelligence Committee ask Brennan a really obvious question?\u00a0 \u201cWhere you aware of information and intelligence that revealed contacts and interactions between Russian officials and U.S. persons involved in the Clinton campaign?\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>It gets worse.\u00a0 John Sununu was interviewed by Alisyn Camerota and he literally laughed her out of the room.\u00a0 This is really fun to watch:<\/p>\n

Sununu: \u201cI don\u2019t see any evidence of collusion, Do you?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Camerota: \u201cNope\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>In the meantime, Harris Faulkner just may have put the final nail in the coffin:<\/p>\n

The Seth Rich case has not gone away.\u00a0 Kim Dotcom sent a letter to Robert Mueller volunteering to testify with regard to Seth Rich.\u00a0\u00a0 Hmmmmm.\u00a0 The attorney representing the Seth Rich family has sued the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department to release its file regard this murder.\u00a0 The only thing certain, at this point, is that there are more questions than answers.<\/p>\n

Sean Hannity was back on the air last night and he hammered the main stream media.\u00a0 USAA forgot that when you sell insurance to military and veterans they are unlikely to choose Rachel Maddox over Sean Hannity.\u00a0 USAA stopped running ads on Hannity and kept running them on Maddox.\u00a0 The backlash was enormous and USAA quickly caved.\u00a0 Hannity didn\u2019t exactly let them off the hook.\u00a0 It is rare for a news commentator to criticize a sponsor, but Hannity did exactly that last night.\u00a0 He was sending a message.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Scott Pelley, the CBS anchor on a mission to destroy Trump, was fired.\u00a0 He wasn\u2019t even allowed to \u201cgo on vacation<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0 They cleaned out his desk while he was away on assignment for \u201c60 Minutes<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0 This is more than a firing, this is being publicly humiliated.<\/p>\n

The news coverage has turned the page and soon the focus will be less on whether or not there was collusion and more on why so many people fell for such a stupid and implausible story in the first place.<\/p>\n
