Democrats are in serious trouble.\u00a0 This is what happens to people who will not consider making a decision based solely on what is right.\u00a0 Democrats know that Gorsuch is highly qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice.\u00a0 But the Democratic Party is dominated by hard left liberals who will never consider just doing the right thing for the right reason.<\/p>\n
If Gorsuch is approved with Democratic votes, the Democratic leadership will have lost control of the caucus.\u00a0 On the other hand, if no Democrat votes for Gorsuch, Republicans will just change the rules and vote him in with 51 votes.\u00a0 This decision will be based purely on politics and as a result it is likely to be the worst possible decision.<\/p>\n
When someone tells you that they are only interested in obstructing you, there is no point in negotiating with them.\u00a0 Your choices are to run them over, by pass them or run away.<\/p>\n
This reminds me of a time I was invited to watch the San Francisco 49ers play the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia.\u00a0 This was at a time when the 49ers were the class of the league and the Eagles were a second tier team trying to reach the next level.\u00a0 (No, I was not stupid enough to wear my 49ers gear J).<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Prior to the game and during the first few moments the fans were going nuts.\u00a0 It was one of the loudest crowds I have ever experienced.\u00a0 All the Eagles fans were shouting about how \u201cthe 49ers were going to learn who was really tough.<\/em><\/strong>\u201d\u00a0 By half time the 49ers had the game well in hand and they were dominating the Eagles in every way possible.\u00a0 The stadium went from extremely loud to deathly quiet.\u00a0 I heard a lot of the same fans quietly saying: \u2018I knew we couldn\u2019t beat these guys<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0 By the start of the third quarter a lot of fans had gone home.\u00a0 The stadium was virtually empty by the end of the game.<\/p>\n Democrats are really loud at the moment, but so far they haven\u2019t won anything. Trump, on the other hand has already gotten a lot done.\u00a0 Since Democrats are clearly unwilling to work with him on any issue, they are becoming increasingly irrelevant. \u00a0Trump is either going to run them over or just ignore them.\u00a0 This is not a man likely to back down and run away.
