Although the media constantly accuses Trump of lying, the opposite is true.\u00a0 Trump seldom lies.\u00a0 He sometimes exaggerates and gets his facts wrong, but he is usually telling us what he really thinks.\u00a0 It is his candor that is rare.\u00a0 His opponents in the media, on the other hand often seem incapable of telling the truth.<\/p>\n

This is more than obvious.\u00a0 The main stream media loves to point out something Trump allegedly go wrong so they can accuse him of lying.\u00a0 This started day one.\u00a0 It was the main stream media that produced obvious fake pictures of the crowd during the inauguration and then arrogantly claimed that Obama had much bigger crowds. When Trump fought back they accused him of focusing on the minutia and lying.\u00a0 I really don\u2019t care about the size of the inauguration.\u00a0 I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if it was smaller if for no other reason than all the liberals were threatening violent protests.\u00a0 But, incredibly, it just may be the main stream media lying about the crowd size anyway.\u00a0 Who knows?<\/p>\n

To show you how bad this is, the main stream media even accused Trump of lying because he said the sun was shining on inauguration day.\u00a0 Again, who cares, but technically Trump is right, the sun did shine.\u00a0 It also rained, like a lot of January days in Washington, D.C.\u00a0 The real issue here is that the main stream media cannot resist calling Trump a liar anything they disagree with him.\u00a0 Keep in mind that these are the same people who ignored really serious lies by Hillary Clinton with regard to Benghazi and her personal email server.<\/p>\n

Studies show that most people lie on a regular basis, but all lies are not created equal.\u00a0 Telling someone they look great may be inaccurate but it is not necessary wrong.\u00a0 If someone asks you how your day is going and you say great, even though its\u2019 been a lousy day, that is also inaccurate, but not necessary wrong. Sometimes a lie can be an act of kindness.\u00a0 For example an EMT might tell a critically ill patient they are doing fine and everything is going to be ok when they know the opposite is true.\u00a0 That is a lie, but do you really want them to tell the truth, regardless of consequences.\u00a0 In a case like that, telling someone they are going to be fine just might save their life.<\/p>\n

But some lies really matter.\u00a0 If you lie under oath, about a criminal matter, that is a serious lie, unless you are Bill Clinton and it is only about sex.\u00a0 But perhaps the most vicious and irresponsible lies are when you falsely accuse someone of lying just because you disagree with them.\u00a0 The main stream media does that every day. Liberal Democrats have even proposed prosecuting anyone who dares dispute global warming.\u00a0 Oops.\u00a0 Thanks to a high level whistle blower we now know, thanks to a whistle blower, that NOAA has been caught cooking the books and it is NOAA that has been lying.\u00a0 I doubt that anyone at CNN will notice.\u00a0 I am sure that no one at CNN will care.<\/p>\n

A false accusation of lying, particularly about a President, does serious damage to the country.\u00a0 Liberal Democrats accused George W. Bush of lying about the WMD in Iraq. That is and was a lie.\u00a0 It is well documented that Bush never said anything that was inconsistent with the intelligence.\u00a0 He also never said anything inconsistent with what John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and other top Democrats were saying. \u00a0Far too many people still think Bush lied about the WMD because the main stream media refused to tell the truth about this.<\/p>\n

The media will continue to falsely accuse Trump of lying, but this time they are dealing with someone more than willing to take them on.\u00a0 Trump does have New York values.\u00a0 Anyone who has spent any time in New York understands what this means.\u00a0 If you attack a New Yorker, they attack back.\u00a0 Trump didn\u2019t back down, he stood on that stage and said \u201cbring it on<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you really want to see unhinged people, watch CNN.\u00a0 Wolf Blitzer looked like he needed a mid-show face lift and Chuck Todd was shrieking about Donald Trump looking out of control.\u00a0 It looked a lot like John Belushi running around during a scene on Animal House <\/strong>telling people to calm down.<\/p>\n
