I recently wrote about the 900 liberal geniuses at the State Department who stupidly signed a letter saying they could not support the Trump foreign policy.\u00a0 Odds are high that Tillerson is already going through that list with a smile.\u00a0 Now we learn that today is being promoted as \u201cA DAY WITHOUT IMMIGRANTS.\u201d\u00a0 It is a call for all undocumented residents to do the following today:<\/p>\n

DON\u2019T GO TO WORK<\/p>\n

DON\u2019T OPEN UP YOUR BUSINESS<\/p>\n

DON\u2019T BUY ANYTHING IN A STORE OR ONLINE<\/p>\n

DON\u2019T EAT AT A RESTAURANT<\/p>\n

DON\u2019T GO TO CLASS<\/p>\n

DON\u2019T LET YOUR KIDS GO TO CLASS<\/p>\n

While the main stream media will consider this to be a major success, odds are most of us won\u2019t notice.\u00a0 Those who do notice may not consider this to be a problem.\u00a0 There are about 157 million people in the U.S. workforce.\u00a0 Let\u2019s assume that there are 11 million illegal immigrants working here.\u00a0 That means that at the most about 7% of our workforces are illegal immigrants.\u00a0 Those who own businesses and have nice jobs are unlikely to participate in this event.\u00a0 They have too much to lose and they are too smart to self-identify.\u00a0 The people most likely to participate are students and if they skip school most people won\u2019t even notice.<\/p>\n

But wait, there’s more.\u00a0\u00a0We don\u2019t actually know how many illegal immigrants are living here.\u00a0 Homeland Security estimates 11.4 million.\u00a0 The Washington Post estimates less than 11 million.\u00a0 But, if this effort is really successful, we will know a lot more of them.\u00a0 Keep in mind that many illegal immigrants are pretending to be citizens.\u00a0 They have id cards showing them to be citizens.\u00a0 Here in California we give the Drivers\u2019 licenses to make it easier for them.<\/p>\n

Smart illegal aliens should probably read the following before they decide to skip work.<\/p>\n

8 U.S. Code \u00a7 1324a – Unlawful employment of aliens <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>(2)\u00a0 CONTINUING EMPLOYMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is unlawful for a person or other entity, after hiring an alien for employment in accordance with paragraph (1), to continue to employ the alien in the United States knowing the alien is (or has become ) an unauthorized alien with respect to such employment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you are an illegal alien and you don\u2019t show up for work today and tell people this is because you are an illegal alien, you have not only given your employer grounds to fire you, you have actually made it illegal for your employer to legally continue your employment.<\/p>\n

Do you remember the \u201cThe Great American Strike<\/strong>\u201d that took place on May 1, 2006? What?\u00a0 You don\u2019t remember this?\u00a0 Neither do many other people because it didn\u2019t work. Odds are really high it won\u2019t work this time either.\u00a0 It may convince a lot of illegal aliens to self-identify making it much easier for ICE.<\/p>\n

In 2006 the President of the United States was George W. Bush, not Donald Trump.\u00a0 Bush was a pro-immigration reform guy.\u00a0 Trump, on the other hand, is a “just enforce the law<\/strong><\/em>” kind of guy. He is extremely unlikely to be impressed by the political grandstanding.\u00a0 Trump knows that the main stream media has zero intention of treating him fairly on any issue anyway.\u00a0 So, he might just as well do the necessary. Those who follow self-absorbed, self-righteous, arrogant, incompetent clowns off the cliff to oblivion have, once again, earned special recognition.<\/p>\n
