Obama is famous for lecturing anyone who dares disagree with him.\u00a0 He is also famous for doing actually nothing to back up his threats.\u00a0 Up until now the world has just ignored him and giggled privately.\u00a0 However, with this idiotic hissy fit throwing out some Russian diplomats and proposing sanctions he can\u2019t possibly enforce, he has violated an important rule.\u00a0 \u201cIt is better to stay silent, and be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and prove it.<\/em><\/strong>\u201d\u00a0 Russia is literally laughing in his face and saying they will wait until he is replaced by an adult.<\/p>\n

We should all be concerned that Obama will do something drastic to try and remain somewhat relevant.\u00a0 He is clearly frustrated that in less than three weeks he will be totally out of power.\u00a0 He is desperately trying to influence things after he walks out the door.\u00a0 He is flailing madly and just embarrassing himself.\u00a0 This is like a really bad act on America\u2019s Got Talent that tries to keep on performing long after all four judges have pushed their buzzers.\u00a0 If Democrats are not embarrassed by this, they aren\u2019t paying attention.<\/p>\n

Obama is accusing Russia of interfering in our election by releasing private e-mails from the DNC.\u00a0 No one disputes that these are real e-mails, Democrats are just pissed that the attempted Obama cover-up failed to work.\u00a0 In effect, Russia apparently interfered in our election by exposing the truth about Hillary Clinton.\u00a0 This is like the guy who is caught robbing a bank on video filing a protest against the surveillance company for invasion of privacy.\u00a0 Good luck trying to get a judge or jury to buy that nonsense.<\/p>\n

One would note that hacking the DNC computer system is not actually a threat to national security.\u00a0 Does anyone seriously think that the U.S. is not trying to hack Russian communications?\u00a0 Come on!\u00a0 The U.S. literally sent a submarine into the Black Sea to put a wiretap on Russian communication cables.\u00a0 We tapped everything they said for years.\u00a0 We can be certain every country capable of spying on other nations is doing exactly that.\u00a0 The Russians, sadly, may be doing a better job than us, but it is silly to pretend we aren\u2019t playing the same game. Hillary personally\u00a0tried to interfere in Russia\u2019s election when she publicly questioned the integrity of Russian parliamentary elections in 2011.<\/p>\n

What really happened here is that the DNC was embarrassed in the worst possible way.\u00a0 They were caught red handed (pun intended) stealing the primary election from Bernie Sanders.\u00a0 They were exposed as being incredibly stupid. The Russians didn\u2019t exactly pull this off with some sophisticated electronic hack.\u00a0 They sent fishing e-mails that should have been recognized by eight year old.\u00a0 Senior Democrats, like John Podesta, took the bait; hook, line and sinker and gave away their user ids and passwords.\u00a0 Brilliant!<\/p>\n

A lot of people are expressing fear that Putin will dominate Trump.\u00a0 The evidence is clear that the opposite is happening.\u00a0 Putin made some noise about racketing up his nuclear arsenal.\u00a0 Trump shut him down with the following twitter:<\/p>\n

Translation, for liberal Democrats, who don\u2019t understand this stuff:\u00a0 \u201cHave at it Vlad. You are in for an arms race you can\u2019t possibly win<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d It wasn\u2019t Trump who backed down, it was Putin:<\/p>\n

Even with regard to this childish stunt\u00a0by Obama, Putin did not retaliate.\u00a0 That wasn\u2019t because he is intimidated by Obama, he laughed at Obama.\u00a0 It is because he didn\u2019t want to risk a confrontation with the new sheriff in town.<\/p>\n

The good news is that whether he wants to admit it or not, time has run out for Barack Obama and he is headed toward the scrap heap of history.\u00a0 It can\u2019t happen soon enough for me.<\/p>\n
