{"id":3517,"date":"2016-11-07T15:58:25","date_gmt":"2016-11-07T22:58:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scotshonor.com\/?p=3517"},"modified":"2016-11-07T15:58:25","modified_gmt":"2016-11-07T22:58:25","slug":"the-ninety-and-nine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scotshonor.com\/?p=3517","title":{"rendered":"THE NINETY AND NINE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Barack Obama defeated Mitt Romney in 2012 because 90% of Democrats voted for Obama and Democratic turnout was 9% higher than Republican turnout.\u00a0 It was the ninety and nine that defeated Mitt Romney.\u00a0 The question is whether the ninety and nine will show up this year.<\/p>\n<p>All of the pundits are predicting voter turnout to be Democrat 37%, Republican 29 to 30% and Independent 33%.\u00a0 The Denver Post just reported on early voting in Denver:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2016\/11\/07\/purple-state-memo-republicans-hold-lead-in-early-voting-entering-election-day\/\"><u>http:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2016\/11\/07\/purple-state-memo-republicans-hold-lead-in-early-voting-entering-election-day\/<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cThe <a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/attachments\/COSOS\/2016\/11\/07\/file_attachments\/654560\/Ballots%2BReceived%2Bto%2BDate_20161107.pdf\"><u>latest early voting numbers<\/u><\/a> released Monday morning show registered Republicans cast 652,380 ballots compared to 645,020 registered Democrats \u2014 a 7,360 vote GOP advantage. The breakdown looks like this: 35.2 percent Republican, 34.8 percent Democrat and 28.5 percent unaffiliated.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Clinton campaign thought they were safely ahead in Colorado.
