Donald Trump claims to be \u201cself-funding\u201d<\/strong> his campaign for President.\u00a0 In reality, Donald Trump\u2019s campaign has been funded by free coverage in the main stream media.\u00a0 Recently the main stream media has pulled the plug on all the free coverage and if Trump wants to be President he will have to up his game big time.\u00a0 The following article in the Washington Times explains:<\/p>\n

Trump clearly has a lot of money, but I wonder if he is ready to cough up the $1 billion big ones necessary to win the general election.\u00a0 It is a lot more fun campaigning with other people\u2019s money.\u00a0 Imagine spending a billion dollars in a Don Quixotic pursuit of the impossible dream.\u00a0 Michael Bloomberg imagined that and decided, upon careful reflection, that he didn\u2019t want to spend the money.<\/p>\n

I am still not convinced that Trump even wants to be President.\u00a0 Perhaps he ran because he knew it would be good fun.\u00a0 He may be shocked that things turned out this way.\u00a0 There is no doubt that his ego wants to win, but at what price.\u00a0 In some ways Donald is running into the same problem socialists encounter.\u00a0 At some point, you run out of other people\u2019s money.<\/p>\n

It is obvious that the Trump campaign has melted down big time this week.\u00a0 One must either assume that Donald Trump is incredibly stupid, has zero control over his emotions, or he is sabotaging his own campaign.\u00a0\u00a0 Donald Trump has his detractors, but few people would call him stupid.\u00a0 He clearly has demonstrated control over his emotions on numerous occasions and a lot of this sure looks like an acting job.\u00a0 That leaves one to wonder if Donald has decided he doesn\u2019t actually want to spend $1 billion and he doesn\u2019t even want the job.\u00a0 But, he is not about to tolerate the RNC ignoring both him and Cruz and putting in another RINO Republican establishment candidate.\u00a0 While Trump calls him lying Cruz, on several occasions Trump goes out of his way to say he agrees with \u201cTed\u201d <\/strong>and that \u201cTed\u201d<\/strong> is a really bright guy.\u00a0 I think Trump respects Cruz.<\/p>\n
