In October 2011, Harry Reid the Democratic majority leader of the Senate adopted the \u201cnuclear\u201d <\/strong>option to by-pass Republican opposition to Obama\u2019s socialist agenda.\u00a0 Liberals rejoiced!\u00a0 It seemed like a good idea at the time.<\/p>\n

But a funny thing happened on the way to the Forum.\u00a0 Republicans ran the table in 2014 and the new Majority Leader was Republican Mitch McConnell.\u00a0 The impact has been significant.\u00a0 What goes around comes around.\u00a0 The Republican controlled senate is now refusing to even take up a lot of the judicial and executive-branch nominations by Barack Obama.\u00a0 This is proof of a complete breakdown of trust between the Obama administration and congress.\u00a0 Harry Reid thought he was being really cute by shoving things through without even letting Republicans offer amendments.\u00a0 President Obama thought he was brilliantly by-passing congress with executive orders.\u00a0 Our system is not perfect, but the checks and balances put in by our founding fathers work brilliantly.\u00a0 The days of Obama jamming things through with a rubber stamp by the Nancy Pelosi\u2019s and Harry Reid\u2019s of this world are long gone.<\/p>\n

It is sad to see it come to this, but Obama has left Republicans little choice.\u00a0 Impeachment is really not an option for a lot of reasons.\u00a0 While Harry Reid was gloating over his victory, he was actually providing Republicans with a blueprint to stop the Obama agenda.\u00a0 Sometimes you can learn a lot from Reiding and Righting.<\/p>\n
