According to the Daily Mail<\/span><\/strong>, following is a text of the Iran leader’s letter to \u00a0President Obama regarding the nuclear arms deal:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cthe prepared text, however, needs careful scrutiny and must be directed into the defined legal process, and in case of approval, be concerned about possible violation of commitments by the other parties and close pathes(sp) to it.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So far, no one appears to dispute the legitimacy of this text.\u00a0 It is certainly consistent with what one would expect.\u00a0 If this is accurate, there is no deal.\u00a0 Iran has agreed to exactly nothing, except to \u201csay\u201d that negotiations are over.<\/p>\n

While Republicans are outraged that Obama negotiated a bad deal, it is far worse than that.\u00a0 This is worse than nothing. This is paying the ransom without even a promise to get the hostage back.<\/p>\n

Incredibly this letter was sent less than eight minutes after Obama finished his victory lap.\u00a0 While the liberal left is rejoicing over a great diplomatic victory and Republicans are hyperventilating over a terrible deal, they both missed the whole point.\u00a0 THERE IS NO DEAL!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The New York Times, as expected, is desperately trying to provide cover for Obama.\u00a0 They are trying to explain why this is a good deal and Republicans are distorting the facts. But even the best linguistic efforts by the New York Times can\u2019t change the simple reality that there is no deal to discuss.<\/p>\n

Condoleezza Rice once said we cannot afford to wait for a smoking gun because it might turn out to be a mushroom cloud.\u00a0 At this point I am not even sure a Mushroom cloud would be enough to enlighten liberal democrats, but we may soon find out.<\/p>\n

Someone is really wrong here. This time, the consequences of getting this wrong are unimaginable. \u00a0 I really hope and pray that Obama did achieve a great victory here and that his critics got it all wrong. \u00a0The problem is that there is zero evidence supporting that hope.<\/p>\n
