The circus surrounding the\u00a0\u00a0Obama fast track trade bill has come full circle.\u00a0 You can\u2019t make this up. \u00a0The Republican establishment is pushing to give Obama more power to make secret trade deals and Democrats are blocking it.\u00a0 So far, the politician who got this right is Rick Perry.\u00a0 He said that free trade is a good idea, but the problem is that we can\u2019t trust President Obama.<\/p>\n
Democrats are opposed to the trade bill because they are owned lock, stock and barrel by the unions. \u00a0The Republican establishment is for the trade bill because they believe that free markets benefit everyone. \u00a0A lot of Republicans joined with Democrats to block the trade agreement because they don\u2019t trust Obama.<\/p>\n
This is what the Republican establishment cannot understand.\u00a0 It is irresponsible to make any legislative deal with a President who has zero intention of upholding his end of the bargain. \u00a0No deal is a good deal if it requires good faith action by this President. If Republicans want to stay in power, they need to block Obama at every opportunity.\u00a0 When Nancy Pelosi is willing to stand up to Obama, there is zero excuse for Republicans negotiating with him on anything.<\/p>\n
The Obama Presidency will be officially over in just over 18 months.\u00a0 He is already the ultimate lame duck President with virtually no support from either party on any issue.\u00a0 Today was just a sign of things to come.\u00a0 It is time to remember that liberals have a nasty habit of turning on their leaders.\u00a0 That is why the liberal leaders in Great Britain resigned after the last election.\u00a0 Liberals, who are incapable of realizing that they are wrong about nearly everything always blame piss poor results on their leaders.\u00a0 Obama is learning that the hard way.<\/p>\n
