  1. \u00a0Open enrollment is over February 15.\u00a0 Millions of people are still without health insurance.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. The reason they are uninsured is that they cannot afford it.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. 80% of people who actually signed up for ObamaCare got financial help.<\/strong>\n
      \n
    1. This is because without the financial help, ObamaCare is too expensive.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. You have to pay a fine if you don\u2019t have insurance. \u00a0The fine is either $325 per person or 2% of income above $20,600, whichever is higher.\u00a0 It goes up next year.<\/strong>\n
        \n
      1. You will also be responsible for 100% of medical care each year.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Many people will learn about this for the first time when they go to file their taxes.\u00a0 It is a very unpleasant surprise.\u00a0\u00a0 If you choose to not enroll in ObamaCare, you are screwed:<\/p>\n

        If you missed the deadline: you won\u2019t be able to get marketplace insurance or an ACA-compliant private plan outside the marketplace until the next annual enrollment period, without qualifying for special enrollment.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

        In other words, you can\u2019t get ObamaCare and nothing else is available either.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

        FACT: Those who have been ignoring the requirement to obtain and maintain coverage risk finding out about how it affects them for the first time during the 2015 tax season. Since taxes are due April 15th and Open Enrollment ends February 15th, it creates a gap\u00a0in which\u00a0some will want coverage, but won\u2019t be able to get a plan that starts before\u00a0January 1st, 2016.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

        If you wait until April 15th<\/sup>, you are already out of options.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

        In case you wonder how this works let me give an example.\u00a0 Take a typical family of four, two adults, two school age children.\u00a0 The monthly premium is $450 per month, with a $9,000 deductible.\u00a0 If they don\u2019t buy this plan, they will have to pay a fine of at least $1,300 and they will be responsible for all medical expenses with no limitation.\u00a0 This family has the choice of paying $5,400 for insurance that is unlikely to cover any medical expense or paying $1,300 for the privilege of having no insurance at all.\u00a0 How does that sound to you?<\/p>\n

        To make this worse, the fine is used to pay for the cost of health insurance for those who are unable or unwilling to pay anything.\u00a0 This is not going to play well in Peoria or anyplace else.<\/p>\n

        SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Many people don\u2019t know this because they haven\u2019t done their taxes yet.\u00a0 Since the open enrollment ends February 15th<\/sup>, but taxes aren’t due to be filed until April 15th<\/sup>, a lot of people will figure this out too late to do anything about it.\u00a0 They won\u2019t even have the option of enrolling in ObamaCare until January of 2016.\u00a0 Nice!<\/p>\n

        This is what happens when the American people allow liberals like Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to take over our health care system.\u00a0 There is a price for stupidity.<\/p>\n
