We now have a confirmed Ebola case in the U.S.\u00a0 At a minimum, the main stream media is going to go nuts.\u00a0 We are about to be inundated with information, some of it true, some of it false, some of it ridiculous.\u00a0 We will have experts tell us there is no risk.\u00a0 We will have other experts tell us death is coming to American.<\/p>\n

The question is \u201cwho do we trust?\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 This administration has said too many things that have been proven to be untrue.\u00a0 Even if we think these are \u201cinnocent\u201d<\/strong> errors, this is a serious problem. Was the President lying about the intelligence regarding ISIS so that no one can criticize him for not taking action?\u00a0 Or was he telling the truth and he really didn\u2019t think ISIS was a threat.\u00a0 I am not sure which is worse.\u00a0 Do I want to deal with a habitual liar or someone merely clueless?\u00a0 How could I trust either one?<\/p>\n

We rely on a President during a crisis to reassure us that things are under control. \u00a0Ronald Reagan did that after the Space Shuttle explosion.\u00a0 \u00a0Rudy Giuliani did that in New York after 9-11.\u00a0 So did George Bush.\u00a0 The Democratic second guessing of George Bush didn\u2019t happen until Democrats got collective amnesia.<\/p>\n

To be blunt, this is the administration that didn\u2019t notice that someone had shot at the White House until a maid found the bullet.\u00a0 This is the administration that let someone jump the fence at the White House fence and charge through the White House.\u00a0 The intruder was only stopped when an off duty Secret Service agent happened by.\u00a0 Few things seem more obvious that the need to secure the White House, but this administration can\u2019t even do that.\u00a0 How could anyone trust them to handle anything else?<\/p>\n

So perhaps the question tonight is:\u00a0 \u201cOk, Ebola has come to the United States. Who do you trust?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
