<\/em>It is official.\u00a0 The Obama Presidency is over. Obama\u2019s speech wasn\u2019t all that bad.\u00a0 It was about the best we could hope to expect.\u00a0 But the response is stunning. I watched the recap of Obama\u2019s speech on CNN and it was really bad.\u00a0 No one was impressed, other than Donna Brazile, and even she appeared frustrated. When you are Obama and Newt Gingrich is your strongest supporter on CNN you are in real trouble.<\/p>\n

Then special guest Jay Carney showed up only to be schooled by Senator John McClain.\u00a0 Every time Carney opened his mouth, McClain crammed it shut with cold, hard, facts.\u00a0 Carney tried to say he respectfully disagreed but McClain refused to let him off the hook.\u00a0 McCain said he can disagree all he wants but that doesn\u2019t change the facts.\u00a0 It was possible the worst debut on National TV since Chelsea Clinton appeared on NBC\u2019s Rock Center.<\/p>\n

“Rather, what was surprising to see on Monday night’s show is how someone can be on TV in such a prominent way and, in her big moment, display so very little charisma \u2014 none at all. Either we’re spoiled by TV’s unlimited population of giant personalities or this woman is one of the most boring people of her era,”\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

When you are described as \u201cone of the most boring people of her era\u201d<\/em><\/strong> that is pretty hard to beat but Carney may have been up to the challenge.\u00a0 It is better to be boring than to be proven a liar every time you open your mouth. When Carney surfaces again we can be sure CNN will keep people like John McCain as far away as possible.<\/p>\n

But as bad as it was on CNN, it was even worse on ABC, NBC, CBS and MSNBC.\u00a0 Fox News was kinder than these guys.\u00a0 What\u2019s up with that!<\/p>\n

Al Sharpton was reduced to saying that just because President Obama couldn\u2019t explain his plan doesn\u2019t mean he doesn\u2019t have one.\u00a0 Actually, Al, that\u2019s exactly what it means.<\/p>\n

It only goes down from here.\u00a0 The liberal left is angry and bitter because they know that Republicans are poised to run the table and it may take decades for the Democratic Party to recover.\u00a0 They are mostly angry at themselves for trusting the liberal dream to someone as clearly incapable as Obama.<\/p>\n

Liberals cannot fathom the possibility that liberalism itself is hopelessly flawed, so they always blame failure on the leader of the day.\u00a0 Liberals go to bed at night dreaming of the great leader in the sky who will prove once and for all that they are right.\u00a0 If only they could find the liberal Messiah.\u00a0 Liberals are famous for putting down people of faith, but no one demonstrates more faith in the impossible than liberals.<\/p>\n

The problem is that if you believe the liberal dream you are too stupid to be a leader.\u00a0 So, by definition, liberal leaders are destined for failure.\u00a0 When they do fail, liberals are the most unforgiving of all. Obama is about to learn that the hard way.\u00a0 He may start to fear former liberal supporters more than he fears ISIS.<\/p>\n
