Franklin Delano Roosevelt (\u201cFDR\u201d) once said: \u201cthe only thing we have to fear is fear itself.\u201d\u00a0 Actually, people should have feared FDR\u2019s economic policies because they turned a recession into the great depression, but that topic is for another day.\u00a0 Today we are paying a terrible price for fear itself.\u00a0 Obama is afraid to stand up to anyone, other than Republicans in congress and our strongest allies overseas.\u00a0 Republicans in congress remain the only people in the known universe who still fear Obama.<\/p>\n
The fruits of Obama\u2019s fear are playing out on our television screens.\u00a0 The fruit of Republican\u2019s fear is Obama.<\/p>\n
I think we are near the tipping point.\u00a0 Opinion polls are so bad now that only the 40% of Americans born with the genetic defect that makes them vote straight Democratic pretend to support Obama.\u00a0 No one, in either party, thinks that Obama is up to the job of being Commander in Chief.\u00a0 Congress has an approval rating even lower than Obama. \u00a0Polls showing zero trust in the main stream media.\u00a0 There is a real danger here that people will stop believing in the system itself.\u00a0 If people lose total faith in the system, anything is possible.\u00a0 That is what we really need to fear.<\/p>\n
Republicans need to stand up to this President if for no other reason than to preserve faith in the system.\u00a0 It is also time for responsible Democrats, if there are any, to put aside partisan politics and to join with Republicans in a search for the cold, hard truth.\u00a0 We need leaders in both parties who can overcome their fear and do the right thing.<\/p>\n
