One of my favorite movies was called \u201cGo for Broke.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong> It was about the 442nd<\/sup> Infantry Regiment made up of Japanese Americans in World War II.\u00a0 \u201cGo for Broke\u201d <\/strong>meant to wager everything.\u00a0 The Japanese Americans who fought in this regiment performed with great distinction.\u00a0 It is the most decorated unit in U.S. military history.\u00a0 Twenty-one members of the 442 won the Medal of Honor.<\/p>\n

With Hillary Clinton, \u201cgo for broke\u201d<\/strong> describes the pathetic attempt to generate sympathy by claiming she and Bill were dead broke after leaving the Presidency.\u00a0 Hillary explained how difficult it was to afford the mortgage on two mansions while paying for Chelsea\u2019s tuition at Stanford.\u00a0 This is literally being laughed off the screen.\u00a0 Even the local TV station, that normally puffs the Clintons, couldn\u2019t resist showing pictures of the Clinton homes when discussing their desperate financial condition.<\/p>\n

Hillary cannot resist padding her resume.\u00a0 In some cases this is just plain silly.\u00a0 For example she claimed that her mother named her after Sir Edmund Hillary in honor of his great achievement in climbing Mt. Everest.\u00a0 Hillary was inconveniently born over five years before Edmund Hillary climbed Mt. Everest, so this couldn\u2019t possibly be true.\u00a0 Then there was the corkscrew landing under fire in Bosnia.\u00a0 The problem with this lie was a video of a sweet little girl meeting Hillary at the airport with flowers.<\/p>\n

Hillary is so used to lying that telling the truth is obviously difficult for her. \u00a0Her lying works brilliantly with much of the liberal left, who still desperately wants to believe, but there is a problem.\u00a0 In the age of the internet it is really easy to check out things and far too many things said by Hillary Clinton do not check out.<\/p>\n

Her new book, designed to pave the path to the White House instead documented the problem.\u00a0 The main stream media would have continued to cover for Hillary.\u00a0 They would have continued to do soft ball interviews being very careful to never ask a question she couldn\u2019t knock out of the park.\u00a0 If she had done absolutely nothing it is unlikely that any Democrat would have even challenged her for the nomination.\u00a0 But with Hillary enough is never enough.\u00a0 She never has enough money.\u00a0 She never has enough endorsements.\u00a0 She never has enough homes.\u00a0 She never has enough anything.\u00a0 So even though she was way ahead in all the polls, she had to have the book.\u00a0 She had to puff her resume once more time.\u00a0 As a result, even some folks in the main stream media have had enough.\u00a0 Just like Obama, they are seeing the real Hillary Clinton, possibly for the first time and they are saying \u201cenough already.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ironically, by “going for broke”<\/strong> Hillary Clinton may have finally achieved something. \u00a0She may have put a stake in the heart of her own Presidential aspirations.<\/p>\n
