On October 8, 1871 the Peshtigo fire broke out.\u00a0 It was the worst fire in U.S. history.\u00a0 At least 1,500 people were killed and some people estimate the real toll could be closer to 2,500.\u00a0 Over 1,875 square miles were burned.\u00a0 Yet most people have never heard of the Peshtigo fire.\u00a0 The reason is that it happened on the same day as the Chicago fire.\u00a0 The main stream media of the day was too interested in reporting on the Chicago fire to bother with what was happening in Northern Wisconsin.<\/p>\n
Hillary Clinton is in serious trouble.\u00a0 Her never-ending campaign just released her \u201cHillary the Great\u201d<\/strong> book in anticipation of the 2016 election.\u00a0 We can be positive that anything written about Benghazi was approved by a panel of experts.\u00a0 \u00a0The Benghazi chapter was leaked to her strongest supporters to put the best possible spin on the subject.\u00a0 That means that this is the best \u201canswer\u201d<\/strong> available.\u00a0 The theory is that while \u201csome\u201d<\/strong> of the people who attacked our compound \u201cmay\u201d<\/strong> have been terrorists, \u201csome\u201d<\/strong> of them “may”<\/strong> have been influenced by the video.\u00a0 That is patently absurd.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t even pass the giggle test.\u00a0 So why use it?<\/p>\n The obvious conclusion is that the truth is even worse.\u00a0 Hillary Clinton\u2019s presidential hopes are going down in flames.\u00a0 Something must be done.\u00a0 Wait!\u00a0 What if the Clintonians can find a \u201cbigger\u201d<\/strong> story to distract attention from the Select Committee investigation of Benghazi? \u00a0Desperate times call for desperate measures. \u00a0Hillary met privately with Obama on Thursday.\u00a0 On Friday he fired General Shinseki and then Jay Carney resigned. \u00a0The VA Scandal story went nuclear.<\/p>\n Then on Saturday he announced the swap of five Taliban Commanders for Sgt.
