Liberals have a serious problem with regard to the 2014 election.\u00a0 It is the same problem that always affects liberals at some point.\u00a0 Nothing liberals believe is true.\u00a0 None of the liberal strategies have worked in the past, they are not working now and they will not work in the future.\u00a0 As a result, liberal governments are always thrown out of office when the stench overcomes the rhetoric.\u00a0 Liberals are very good at stirring up emotions and winning elections.\u00a0 They just suck at governing.<\/p>\n
In addition the only thing certain in politics is change.\u00a0 After seven years or so voters get the seven year itch and they vote for change.\u00a0 In 2007 they got change.\u00a0 Now seven years later, they are probably going to vote for change again.\u00a0 Even if things were going great, voters would probably vote for change.\u00a0 When things really suck, as they do now, they will definitely vote for change.\u00a0 Every political poll shows identical results.\u00a0 Voters are pissed.\u00a0 They are pissed at the President.\u00a0 They are pissed at Congress.\u00a0 They are pissed with Republicans.\u00a0 They are pissed with Democrats.\u00a0 The only question is who voters will hate the most in November.<\/p>\n
My hunch is that they will turn on Democrats because of ObamaCare.\u00a0 Voters are often stupid and na\u00efve, but they will understand two things this election.\u00a0 They will understand that ObamaCare sucks.\u00a0 They will also understand that Democrats own ObamaCare lock, stock and barrel.<\/p>\n
I know all the theories about how demographics have changed and Republicans will never win another election.\u00a0 Just keep in mind that most people promoting this theory are the same liberals who are wrong about everything else.\u00a0 Why would you believe them on this?<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s the deal.\u00a0 Liberals get elected when things are going well because voters forget how bad things get when liberals are in charge.\u00a0 Conservatives get elected when things are really bad because liberals have been in charge and that always ends up bad.\u00a0 Things are bad.\u00a0 Bye by liberals.\u00a0 The only way to break the cycle would be for liberals to adopt policies that work.\u00a0 So far, that has never happened.<\/p>\n
That is the good news.\u00a0 The bad news is that while liberals will probably be booted out of office this fall, at some point about seven years down the road, when things are going well again, we will repeat the cycle.<\/p>\n
