The \u201cCheese State\u201d has struck again.\u00a0 When Governor Scott Walker took on the public sector unions in Wisconsin he appeared to be playing with fire.\u00a0 The backlash was instant and overwhelming.\u00a0 Remember all those teachers swarming the Capital in Madison.\u00a0\u00a0 Liberals fought back with every tool in their bag of tricks.\u00a0 They even imported paid activists from Chicago.\u00a0 It didn\u2019t work.\u00a0 Walker didn\u2019t back down an inch.\u00a0 So, then Democrats tried to recall him.<\/p>\n

Democrats were so sure that voters would reject Walker\u2019s reforms that they were still predicting victory on election night, long after the media had called the election for Scott Walker by a wide margin.\u00a0 This is typical of the liberal mindset.\u00a0 They couldn\u2019t bring themselves to believe what was obviously true:<\/p>\n

Not only did Walker win that election, the labor unions suffered a serious, potentially fatal defeat.\u00a0 By July of 2013, The Wisconsin Education Association Council has lost half of its 98,000 members.\u00a0 It turns out that when given a choice, a lot of people chose not to continue paying dues to a union that often did not represent their best interests:<\/p>\n

Now Scott Walker has a new plan and it is brilliant.\u00a0 Instead of giving money to the government, Walker would give money to people and allow them to purchase health care from private insurance companies.\u00a0 \u00a0They can just ignore the ObamaCare exchange.\u00a0 He is still giving people money, which will offend a lot of conservatives, but at least he is giving them a choice in how it is spent.\u00a0 Even MSNBC is intrigued:<\/p>\n

Hmmm.\u00a0 Let people \u201cchoose\u201d between government insurance and private insurance.\u00a0 What is the world coming to? Ask the government to compete on price and\/or service?\u00a0 Please!<\/p>\n

Expect the liberal left and the Obama administration to respond with outrage. But ObamaCare sucks big time and a lot of Democrats are desperately in search of Susan.\u00a0\u00a0 Ok, not exactly Susan, but they are desperately searching for a way out.\u00a0 This will be attractive to at least some of them. \u00a0At this point, anything that even looks like a solution will be attractive to them.\u00a0 Some Democrats in Wisconsin have already signed on to the Walker plan.\u00a0 And you still don\u2019t believe in miracles?\u00a0 As they say, any port in a storm and this is one heck of a storm.<\/p>\n

There is zero chance the Obama administration can rescue ObamaCare.\u00a0 They aren\u2019t even ready to admit there\u2019s a problem.\u00a0 There is no way that you can fix a problem if you won\u2019t even admit there is a problem.\u00a0 But there is a big problem and it isn\u2019t going away anytime soon.\u00a0 No amount of main stream media spin can paper over this disaster.\u00a0 On January 1, 2014, a lot of people are going to wake up to a healthcare hangover that aspirin won\u2019t touch.<\/p>\n

Scott Walker has a plan.\u00a0 It is astonishingly simple, which is why no Democrat even considered it.\u00a0 The government can\u2019t fix this, so let\u2019s take the money away from the government and give it to someone who can fix it.\u00a0 This seems pretty obvious to me.<\/p>\n

Everyone else is dancing around the real issue.\u00a0 Walker nailed it on the head.\u00a0 Government can\u2019t solve the problem when government is the problem. \u00a0Take government out of the picture and things suddenly come back into focus.<\/p>\n

Wisconsin.\u00a0 Pretty darn cold at the moment but one really hot idea. \u00a0Get the picture? \u00a0Smile at the camera and say \u201ccheese.\u201d \u00a0 “On Wisconsin!”<\/strong><\/p>\n
