Several years ago we lived in Novato, California.\u00a0 One day we looked out and there was a turkey vulture sitting on our back fence.\u00a0 We were used to seeing turkey vultures circling up above, but this was the first time one actually stopped by for a visit.\u00a0 A few minutes later another one showed up.\u00a0 The next thing we know the entire back fence was covered with turkey vultures.\u00a0 We soon discovered that there was a dead raccoon in our back yard and they were all there for the meal.<\/p>\n

ObamaCare is now officially dead.\u00a0 There is zero chance it can survive what has already happened.\u00a0 What slim chance of salvaging something ended today when Obama stepped in it on national television.<\/p>\n

The following statement is so bad that the editors had to add two additional comments, in parenthesis, so that it made any sense at all.<\/p>\n

“It [the fix] allows us to be able to say to the folks who received these notices that I as the United States [and Obamacare] are not going to get in the way of you shopping for the insurance you used to have.\u201d<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

Let me paraphrase.\u00a0 \u201cThis is totally the fault of those bad apple insurance companies, so I am going to back off and let them handle it, so you can\u2019t blame me.\u201d<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

I should have predicted this, because it is the dumbest possible solution.\u00a0 There is zero chance the insurance industry is going to reinstate those plans.\u00a0 Even if they wanted to, it would take them months to prepare.\u00a0 In the meantime there are going to be more uninsured people\u00a0and\u00a0no one available to provide health care coverage.<\/p>\n

ObamaCare is dead.\u00a0 We are still waiting for the official death certificate but it is dead.\u00a0 The vultures are circling.\u00a0 Some of them have already landed.\u00a0 The rest are on their way.<\/p>\n
