I know many liberals who are totally convinced of things that are not possibly true.\u00a0 Perhaps the best way to understand the liberal mind is to reflect on the lyrics of the Liberal hymn of faith:\u00a0 Imagine by John Lennon:<\/span><\/p>\n

Imagine there is no heaven<\/strong><\/em>
\n It’s easy if you try<\/strong><\/em>
\n No hell below us<\/strong><\/em>
\n Above us only sky<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Imagine all the people<\/strong><\/em>
\n Living for today<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Imagine there’s no countries<\/strong><\/em>
\n It isn’t hard to do<\/strong><\/em>
\n Nothing to kill or die for<\/strong><\/em>
\n And no religion, too<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Imagine all the people<\/strong><\/em>
\n Living life in peace<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

You, you may say I’m a dreamer<\/strong><\/em>
\n But I’m not the only one<\/strong><\/em>
\n I hope someday you will join us<\/strong><\/em>
\n And the world will be as one<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Imagine no possessions<\/strong><\/em>
\n I wonder if you can<\/strong><\/em>
\n No need for greed or hunger<\/strong><\/em>
\n A brotherhood of man<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Imagine all the people<\/strong><\/em>
\n Sharing all the world<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

You, you may say I’m a dreamer<\/strong><\/em>
\n But I’m not the only one<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\n I hope someday you will join us<\/strong><\/em>
\n And the world will live as one<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Imagine is a beautiful song, until you realize that this is pure nonsense.\u00a0 <\/span>Imagine doesn\u2019t describe a paradise, it describes a world filled with chaos and anarchy.\u00a0 <\/span>In 1790 Fletcher Christian anchored the HMS Bounty on Pitcairn Island with 9 other sailors, 6 Tahitian men and 11 women.\u00a0 <\/span>Here was the chance for the paradise longed for by liberals.\u00a0 <\/span>Pitcairn Island had been mismarked on the nautical charts.\u00a0 <\/span>No one could find it.\u00a0 <\/span>There was plenty of food, no country to kill or die for and no religion.\u00a0 <\/span>The only option was to live for today, because they had burned up the Bounty and there was no way they were leaving any time soon.<\/p>\n

But they didn\u2019t find paradise, they found chaos and murder.\u00a0 <\/span>By the time an American Whaler found the Island again in 1808 only one sailor was left.\u00a0 <\/span>All the other mutineers and all of the Tahitian men had been killed, mostly by each other.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

If we really lived in world set up according to liberal guidelines it would almost certainly end up closer to Pitcairn\u2019s Island rather than the Garden of Eden.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Liberals are used to lies.\u00a0 <\/span>They prefer a lie that agrees with their world view to an uncomfortable truth.\u00a0 <\/span>But there comes a time when a lie is so obvious and so destructive that it simply cannot be ignored.\u00a0 <\/span>When that happens it sends shockwaves through the residual elements of the liberal spine.\u00a0 <\/span>They are forced to finally ask a very vital question.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cWhat is really true?\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/span>When liberals start actually seeking the truth, it is always a big shock.\u00a0 <\/span>They find themselves transported beyond imagination forced to accept the reality of the real world.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The entire world now knows that Barack Obama is a bald-faced liar.\u00a0 <\/span>When he made those promises that people could keep their health insurance, that they could keep their doctors, he was lying.\u00a0 <\/span>It was a level of deception right up there with Bill Clinton\u2019s \u201cI did not have sex with that woman\u201d<\/strong><\/em> moment.\u00a0 <\/span>But this is much worse.\u00a0 <\/span>This is much worse because Bill Clinton was only lying to protect himself from embarrassment.\u00a0 <\/span>Barack Obama was lying because it was the only way he could lull the American people into accepting the horror of socialized medicine. This is lying on a whole new level.\u00a0 <\/span>In case you wonder if I am overstating this, read the following opinion by Kyle Smith in the New York Post today:<\/p>\n

It is long past time at least some liberals move beyond imagination.<\/p>\n
