Democrats think they have scored a major victory over Republicans.\u00a0 Obama thinks that ObamaCare is here to stay.\u00a0 But the opposite is true. By launching ObamaCare before it was close to ready, ObamaCare has been exposed to deadly attack.\u00a0 This attack won\u2019t be by Republicans.\u00a0 Oh they will attack ObamaCare, but that really doesn\u2019t matter.\u00a0 The more serious attack will come from a far more serious enemy.\u00a0 It will come from the insurance industry.<\/p>\n
Every disaster creates opportunity.\u00a0 The ObamaCare disaster creates the opportunity of lifetime for people who dream of huge profits in the insurance industry.\u00a0 This is already happening.\u00a0 I own an insurance agency and in the last six months I get almost daily e-mails from insurance providers who believe they have the solution to ObamaCare.\u00a0<\/strong> There are wild differences between programs, but all are based on one simple reality.\u00a0 They are certain that ObamaCare is a massive disaster and that millions of people will be desperate for an alternative.\u00a0 They are certain that the first person to find a solution will make millions, if not billions.<\/p>\n Some are already investing enormous amounts of money.\u00a0 Within a very short period of time we are going to start seeing \u201cObamaCare alternative\u201d advertising on TV, on Radio and in the Newspaper.\u00a0 All of these ads will start with a stark warning that ObamaCare is a disaster.\u00a0 They will warn people that ObamaCare is bad medicine and they will offer help.<\/p>\n Some of these programs will be great.\u00a0 Some will be awful.\u00a0 Some will be scams.\u00a0 But all of them will attack ObamaCare.\u00a0 All of them will offer solutions to the problems created by ObamaCare and all of them are designed to exploit the insurance opportunity of a life time.\u00a0 This will range from supplementary plans designed to make up for the gaps in ObamaCare to plans that offer full health care.\u00a0 \u00a0All will repeat the same theme:\u00a0 \u201cObamaCare is a total disaster.\u00a0 You need to take action.\u00a0 We can help.\u201d <\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n No amount of main stream media spin will overcome the effects of this advertising campaign. Arrogant liberal talking heads cannot compete with a determined assault by advertising professionals with unlimited budgets.\u00a0 \u00a0These people will not be impressed with main stream media spin.\u00a0 They are driven by only profits.\u00a0 History shows us that there is no more lethal force on this planet than a determined entrepreneur who sees an opportunity and figures out how to seize the day.<\/p>\n What is the administration going to do?\u00a0 Are they going to try and ban such advertising?\u00a0 Are they going to try and destroy any opposition? \u00a0They probably will try that, but I don\u2019t think it is even possible.\u00a0 It will be like playing the ultimate \u201cWhack a Mole\u201d<\/strong> game. Republicans in the House are totally pissed at this administration and they aren\u2019t going to be anxious to help.<\/p>\n If any of these programs are remotely successful at enrolling a lot of people, the big boys in the insurance industry will abandon ObamaCare.\u00a0 They reluctantly agreed to this fiasco only because they believed they had no choice.\u00a0 They will not tolerate watching some new guy come in and take over their industry.\u00a0 If the big insurance companies abandon ObamaCare and offer their own alternatives the results will be instant and devastating.\u00a0 The ObamaCare failure will be total.<\/p>\n Liberals thought ObamaCare would result in the socialist goal of a single payer health care system.\u00a0 Instead, the opposite is likely to happen.\u00a0 ObamaCare is so bad that millions of people will demand an alternative.\u00a0 The government is totally incapable of providing a solution, so private industry will step into the gap.\u00a0 The private industry is ready, willing and able to respond.<\/p>\n This is already happening.\u00a0 That will soon be obvious to everyone.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know exactly how this will play out, but I am positive that we are going to see a full-fledge assault on ObamaCare.\u00a0 What I don\u2019t see is any way this administration is going to be successful in defending against this.<\/p>\n TDM<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Democrats think they have scored a major victory over Republicans.\u00a0 Obama thinks that ObamaCare is here to stay.\u00a0 But the opposite is true.
