Have you ever noticed that nearly all of the predictions by the global warming alarmist crowd turn out to be ridiculously wrong.\u00a0 A case in point is the following article published in the Atlantic on July 8, 2011.<\/p>\n

Following is typical of the nonsense routinely spouted by these guys:<\/p>\n

Recent studies published in<\/a> Nature<\/a> and Science<\/a> conclude that extreme weather events (heavy rainfall events and heatwave intensity) are linked to climate change. And the heat buildup in the deep ocean helps explain why. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I should have bet on having fewer tornadoes in both 2012 and 2013.\u00a0 This is not because I have any meteorological expertise, I don\u2019t.\u00a0 It is rather because these guys are almost always wrong.\u00a0 So, common sense would indicate that if they were predicting more tornadoes, we could expect the exact opposite.<\/p>\n

Bingo.\u00a0 There turned out to be a lot less tornadoes than usual in 2012.<\/p>\n

Of course the ever predictable Huffington Post blamed this on a drought, caused by\u2026..GLOBAL WARMING.\u00a0 The reason there weren\u2019t enough tornadoes is that it was too hot.<\/p>\n

Oops.\u00a0 The tornadoes forgot to show up this year too.\u00a0 What\u2019s up with that?\u00a0 Last year it was because it was too hot.\u00a0 This year it is because it is too cold.\u00a0 But,\u00a0I can safely predict that the global warming crowd will not be\u00a0discouraged by mere facts.<\/p>\n

Perhaps I am wrong, I haven\u2019t exactly spent hours researching this stuff, but it sure looks like the global warming crowd is spectacularly good at getting things wrong.\u00a0 One would think that once in a while even they would accidently nail it.\u00a0 I mean even a broken clock is right twice a day.\u00a0 But not these guys!\u00a0They are very good at getting it exactly wrong!<\/p>\n

So, I will safely predict when we will see more tornadoes.\u00a0 It will be right after the global warming crowd says they missing because of global warming.<\/p>\n
