In his most recent press conference, President Obama became extremely defensive and frustrated.\u00a0 This is\u00a0what happens when your team is in the midst of a big time losing streak.\u00a0 At some point the coach loses his cool.\u00a0 This usually happens just before the coach is fired.\u00a0 A classic example of this happened last November, when Norv Turner got tired of answering questions about why the San Diego Chargers were so bad:<\/p>\n

Norv Turner, surprise, was fired after the end of the season.<\/p>\n

This is not a shot at Norv Turner.\u00a0 He is a highly respected coach, so he was almost immediately hired as the offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns.\u00a0 I was just pointing out that when you see something like this: you know you are looking at a loser.\u00a0 Obama looks like a loser and even the main stream media knows it.<\/p>\n

What makes this double trouble for Obama is that he should be flying high.\u00a0 Normally when there is a major tragedy, it is an opportunity for politicians to score points.\u00a0 That is why there is always a mad\u00a0rush for the nearest microphone.\u00a0That is exactly what happened after Hurricane Sandy and it just may have been the reason Obama was re-elected.<\/p>\n

But that didn\u2019t happen this time.\u00a0\u00a0 Although Obama tried desperately to exploit the situation, the sound of patting himself on the back was drowned out by the clamor of incompetence.<\/p>\n

At the same time the economic news is terrible, Syria is using chemical weapons and Obamacare is a complete train wreck.\u00a0\u00a0Obama stupidly tried to shut down air travel, so he could blame it on Republicans,\u00a0 and\u00a0was publicly humiliated by a bi-partisan bill that gave him only enough money to pay the air traffic controllers to go back to work.\u00a0 No one, and I mean no one, is buying his pathetic attempts to blame the sequester on Republicans.<\/p>\n

So how bad is it?\u00a0 Obama was desperate to find one thing that he could smile about during his press conference.\u00a0 His choice was the decision by Jason Collins to come out as a gay basketball player.\u00a0 Frankly, I couldn’t care less.\u00a0 A better question is whether or not he\u2019s still got game.\u00a0 Obama certainly doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n
