At 10:30 p.m. on September 11, 2012, Mitt Romney issued a statement saying the following:<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s disgraceful that the Obama administration\u2019s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
He was immediately hammered in the Press for an error of fact and an error of judgment.\u00a0 Even some senior Republicans ripped him a new one.\u00a0 This, in the minds of the main stream media, was clear evidence that Mitt Romney was not ready for prime time.\u00a0 But, at least Romney was paying attention.\u00a0 That was more than we can say for either President Obama or Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n
Secretary of State Leon Panetta testified that Barack Obama was totally uninvolved in responding to this attack.\u00a0 This was confirmed by General Dempsey.\u00a0 According to Panetta, he met with Obama at a 5:00 p.m. prescheduled meeting and spent 20 minutes talking about the American Embassy that was surrounded in Egypt and \u201cthe situation that was just unfolding in Benghazi.\u201d\u00a0 <\/i><\/b>That is the sum total of Barack Obama\u2019s involvement.<\/p>\n
Panetta said that on the night of 9\/11 he did not communicate with a single person at the White House.\u00a0 NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON!\u00a0<\/strong> He also said he had no contact with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n “In between 9:42 p.m., Benghazi time, when the first attacks started, and 5:15 am, when Mr. Doherty and Mr. Woods lost their lives, what conversations did either of you have with Secretary Clinton?”<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n This is far worse that I imagined.\u00a0\u00a0We had a Secretary of Defense who didn\u2019t bother to discuss the siege of a U.S. Consulate and a missing U.S. Ambassador with either the White House or the State Department.\u00a0 It is impossible to justify this.\u00a0\u00a0The only possible excuse available to Pannetta would be if both the White House and the Secretary of State told him they didn’t want to be bothered!<\/p>\n But, in spite of this gross negligence admitted by Panetta, the White House definitely knew something bad was going down.\u00a0 Mitt Romney issued his statement at 10:30 p.m. and the White House issued the following rebuke within minutes:<\/p>\n \u201cWe are shocked that, at a time when the United States of America is confronting the tragic death of one of our diplomatic officers in Libya, Governor Romney would choose to launch a political attack,\u201d campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt said.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n They may not have cared about people dying, but they sure cared about the political fallout!<\/p>\n This is an admission that the Obama campaign already knew about the death of one of our diplomatic officers.\u00a0 \u00a0Of course they knew.\u00a0 It was all over the news.\u00a0 Hillary Clinton also knew what was going on, because she issued the following statement later than night:<\/p>\n “Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet,” Clinton said. “The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.”<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n Nice Hillary.\u00a0 DID YOU EVER CONSIDER PICKING UP THE PHONE TO SEE IF YOUR AMBASSADOR WAS STILL ALIVE!<\/strong><\/p>\n While Hillary and Barack fiddled, Benghazi was literally on fire.\u00a0 Neither of them cared enough to make a single phone call. \u00a0NOT ONE SINGLE PHONE CALL.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0No one on the entire White House staff made that call.\u00a0 There is no evidence that anyone in the State Department made that call either.\u00a0 Hillary Clinton definitely did not make that call.<\/p>\n Remember that famous add when Hillary Clinton asked who you wanted answering the phone during a crisis?\u00a0 Well, perhaps the question is whether or not either of them would even bother answering the phone?<\/p>\n This is beyond outrageous.\u00a0 I cannot imagine another U.S. President who would have responded this way.\u00a0 Even Jimmy Carter would have been asking questions.\u00a0 He would have probably mucked up the response, but at least he would have been asking questions. This is unforgiveable.<\/p>\n Then, in the ultimate case of hutzpah, Obama and Clinton put on a great show of remorse when they met the bodies of the dead Americans as they arrived back on U.S. soil.\u00a0 The main stream media lapped this up like honey laced with Jack Daniels:<\/p>\n http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2012\/09\/14\/obama-libya-remains-chris-stevens_n_1884567.html<\/a><\/p>\n Always in the background, campaign politics gave way to a sense of sheer loss.
