The Libya narrative is unraveling at the speed of light.\u00a0 The only question is whether this will happen in time to influence the election.\u00a0 Newt Gingrich said that he was informed by a U.S. Senator that at least two media networks were given copies of e-mails from the office of the National Security Advisor ordering a counterterrorism team to cancel a rescue mission at the U.S. consulate and the CIA annex in Libya.<\/p>\n

The key minute comes at the 9:59 minute mark.<\/p>\n

Although Gingrich describes these as rumors, he is very specific with regard to what was on those e-mails.\u00a0 I doubt that this was an accident.<\/p>\n

The Hill<\/span><\/strong>, which is also not a right wing media outlet, is reporting on this:<\/p>\n

The White House issued the following statement:<\/p>\n

\u201cNeither the President nor anyone in the White House denied any requests for assistance in Benghazi during the attack,\u201d National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor told The Hill via email<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That fact that the White House even responded to this report is significant.\u00a0 It is proof that someone in the press is starting to demand answers.\u00a0 There is almost no time before the election, but there is evidence that the main stream media is starting to pay serious attention to this issue.\u00a0 Check out the following article from the Washington Post:<\/p>\n

David Ignatius has been providing cover for the White House with regard to Libya.\u00a0\u00a0He argued that CIA documents supported Susan Rice\u2019s description of the Benghazi attacks:<\/p>\n

Yet even Ignatius is acknowledging that the Fox News report by Jennifer Griffin:\u00a0 has raised some questions about the attack that deserve a clearer answer from the Obama administration.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is an admission by the Washington Post<\/span><\/strong> that Fox News has done some serious and credible reporting and that there are important questions that demand answers.\u00a0 When someone like David Ignatius makes this kind of remark it is time to pay attention.<\/p>\n

Fox News is reporting that they have a cable sent a month before the attack that clearly warns of the danger:<\/p>\n

\u201cRSO (Regional Security Officer) expressed concerns with the ability to defend Post in the event of a coordinated attack due to limited manpower, security measures, weapons capabilities, host nation support, and the overall size of the compound,\u201d the cable said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to a review of the cable addressed to the Office of the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Emergency Action Committee was also briefed “on the location of approximately ten Islamist militias and AQ training camps within Benghazi \u2026 these groups ran the spectrum from Islamist militias, such as the QRF Brigade and Ansar al-Sharia, to \u2018Takfirist thugs.\u2019\u201d Each U.S. mission has a so-called Emergency Action Committee that is responsible for security measures and emergency planning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is more.\u00a0 Two major U.S. military commanders were recently removed from their commands.\u00a0 General Ham suddenly decided to retire.\u00a0 Admiral Gaouette was removed from command of a carrier group operating in the Middle East.\u00a0 The odor of a system cover-up is overwhelming.<\/p>\n

We already know Libya was bad.\u00a0 We know there were requests for more security that were ignored.\u00a0 We know the Obama administration lied to cover-up something<\/strong>.\u00a0 We know that Obama\u2019s foreign policy is in tatters.\u00a0 What we already know is bad enough.\u00a0 It is shameful that the main stream media continues to ignore this story.\u00a0 If this is not important, what is important?\u00a0 How bad, exactly, does it have to get before they wake up?\u00a0 Is there not one single competent reporter in the main stream media who has figured this out?<\/p>\n
