THE CLOWN ACT

Rudy Giuliani and Joe diGenova were on Laura Ingraham last night. What they said was off the chart outrageous. We can be sure the MSM will dismiss this as wild rants by two aging clowns. There are a lot of people who would really like to convince you that Rudy Giuliani is losing it and making a fool of himself. Those people are hopelessly naïve. They fail to distinguish between Rudy Giuliani the attorney and Rudy Giuliani the celebrity who has a somewhat chaotic personal life.

Both Giuliani and diGenova are highly experienced attorneys. Giuliani was Associate Attorney General, the third highest position in the DOJ. He supervised the U.S. Attorney Offices law enforcement agencies, the Department of Corrections, the DEA and the U.S. Marshals Service. When he was appointed U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, it was actually a demotion. But Giuliani had political ambitions and this gave him the opportunity to get national prominence by prosecuting high profile cases. He has a record of 4,125 convictions and 25 reversals. If there is anyone who knows how to put together a case that results in a conviction, it is Rudy Giuliani.

Joe diGenova was the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia from 1983 to 1988. While the MSM likes to dismiss him as a conspiracy theorist, in reality he is a highly skilled prosecutor. He also knows how to conduct an investigation that results in a conviction.

Both of these guys can be very entertaining and it is easy to underestimate them. But their legal skills should not be ignored. In addition, diGenova was hired to defend Ukrainian oligarch Dmytro Firtash with regard protecting him from being extradited to the U.S. Firtash is a very controversial figure, but without a doubt he knows where a lot of bodies are buried in the Ukraine. It is interesting to note that Robert Mueller’s lawyers allegedly reached out to Firtash offering to resolve the Firtash case in exchange for information about Donald Trump and alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election. Firtash’s legal team rejected that offer.

The point is that it would be foolish to underestimate the investigation done by Giuliani and diGenova. They are both very good at building a criminal case and they definitely have insider information. When you think about it, most of the high profile corruption cases have been the result of an insider providing critical information. What if Firtash is the ultimate informant providing critical information to people like Giuliani and diGenova with regard to all the crap that went on in the Ukraine during the 2016 election?

Giuliani and diGenova said they are going to expose the Bidens, the Clintons, others in the Obama administration and ultimately Obama. They either are suffering from senility or this is about to go nuclear. It sure would explain why those opposed to Trump would go all in on a suicidal impeachment crusade let by someone like Adam Schiff. Desperate people do desperate and stupid things.

Who would you bet on, Giuliani and diGenova or Schiff and Nadler? Silly question.

That’s the thing about some clowns. They make you smile.
