THE WRAY THINGS ARE!

Christopher Wray was interviewed by Pete Williams from NBC. This interview was extremely helpful to Donald Trump.  It put a lot of things in perspective:

What he said:

“He’s (Donald Trump) never asked me to do anything with the Russia investigation,”

What he did not say:

Wray would not confirm or deny if he had threatened to resign while under pressure from Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

What he did say:

“I have been very clear from the minute I was nominated to the minute I walked in the door to countless opportunities since then that I am always unwaveringly committed to doing this job by the books, independently, following our rules and our processes free from political or partisan influence,”

The timeline of McCabe’s firing is significant. On January 23, 2018, there were reports that Wray threatened to resign if Trump fired Andrew McCabe:

On January 29, 2018 FBI Director Christopher Wray had the opportunity to review the FISA memo and one would assume, supporting documentation.

There were numerous reports that Wray was outraged and what he read. That seems very consistent with the fact that even NBC news admitted that McCabe had been effectively fired. He was immediately relieved of all duties.

On Friday, March 16, 2018, Jeff Sessions publicly announced the firing of Andrew McCabe. Christopher Wray did not resign. In his interview of NBC News Christopher Wray did not criticize the decision to fire McCabe. It wasn’t even discussed.

This is beyond obvious. The case for first dismissing McCabe was so well documented that Wray moved from threatening to resign if McCabe was fired to dismissing McCabe himself in less than a week. Then, less than two months later, Wray did not object to the official termination of McCabe by the Attorney General depriving McCabe of part of his pension.

There has already been some distancing of liberal democrats from McCabe. Adam Schiff admitted that McCabe’s firing may have been justified. So, did Eric Holder. They only complained that they didn’t know all the facts, yet.

While Donald Trump writes tweets that drive people crazy, he has clearly avoided obstructing anything and he has cleverly allowed Christopher Wray and Jeff Sessions to:

doing this job by the books, independently, following our rules and our processes free from political or partisan influence,”

We all know about the political firestorm by the liberal left pretending outrage at the firing of Andrew McCabe. But the reality is that these things are being investigated, it is being done efficiently resulting in strong and decisive action. The main stream media tells you what they want to believe and what they want to happen. They have been consistently wrong and if the facts are even close to what is being reported by more credible sources like Sara Carter, then we are going to start seeing indictments and a lot of supposedly smart liberal analysts and reporters with massive quantities of egg on their faces.
